I don't see how it would work considering how the plot and reveals work with only with being a VN. Also, most adaptions serve as a marketing tool for the source material. This VN has long since ceased relativity and sales I assume. Is the studio who made it even around still?

I also agree that VN adaptation is often clumsy, like LN times 10 clumsy, as most directors don't have the creativity to thread the story to incorporate the multiple routes and the subsequent different perspective of the protagnist's character arcs. Also I'm from a school of thought that R-18VNs shouldn't go into the mainstream, and the present unimaginative crap tropes are all recycled from the VN subculture that I already saw 10 years ago.

The only good thing that usually comes out of them is OST but I can freely listen to it on Youtube without actual need to spend multiple hours on boring game-like and book-like something.

most VNs have multiple routes, most anime adaptions try to adapt more that they can possibly fit and only have 1 cour, so it often leads in something that isn't that good.
good VN adaptions e.g. Steins Gate, Clannad, Higurashi have alot more breathing space since 2 cour and well good source material helps.

They're probably talking about a red herring in one of the earlier routes, I forget exactly which one. Where Maou says that he's going to stop because of "Love" at the same time the player locks in to a side route. I don't remember the exact arc, but I remember thinking that the timing made it possible that rather than Maou giving up for the sake of Kyousuke, it was also around the time Yuki would have entered the picture and thus it's possible they get together in that timeline

Eushully games would make some good old fashioned fantasy animes, wouldn't be hard to adapt either as they are linear cases most of times, would also work well having anime studios mix the heroine events of their games into main routes too. Grasesta and Amayui would probably sell well too in anime form while Ikusa Megami would make several season long fantasy epic. Even Kamidori would work well as harem hijinks anime as its setting is bit boring compared to their other games imo

Guardian Recall is basically the same kind of action anime with a mostly female cast like Symphogear, Toji no Miko, Princess Principle, and so on expect it's a video game that came out twenty years before that kind of stuff was even popular.
