Never seen this brought up, its a weird horror manga about some kid that gets sent to some dreamworld planet thing, its called Wakusei Closet.
Manga you've never seen mentioned on Yea Forums
yeah I remember this mange years ago, by scan dropped so I never bother. Is it done now?
Does it count if I'm the only one that ever made a thread about it?
Maybe I just missed this since it isn't translated, but Shiritsu Hamana Konaka Koutou Gakkou Danshi Ryou no Tomadoi. It seems to be about a girl in an an all-boys school, with only one of them knowing that she's a girl.
The manga is still ongoing at 3 volumes, new chapters came out this January and the most recent one was a few hours ago.
I like oddball stuff like this or anything that deals with dreams as part of its plot, I need to go back to Yumekui merry also.
I don't know if I found this by chance or by a random one page thread. It's pretty dumb, but it's amusing enough to read when a release comes out.
>it's still going
gosh is this becoming a saga? I thought it was suppose to be a short horror.
I've never seen this manga mentioned anywhere on the English side of the internet. It's a crime drama series about a forensics lab. It's pretty intense, dealing with murder, rape, taking dna samples from aborted fetuses, etc. I read the first volume but desu I read manga for escapism; it's a bit too real for me, but the art and writing are good, so someone else might like it.
I remember seeing it in isekai threads. I don't think people are supposed to think too much about where all the food comes from if they can't use farms for food.
It's still pretty focused, and judging by recent stuff I'd say the fourth volume's gonna be the ending.
I finished this while I was taking my vacation in France. Perfect timing, and I love it. Made me enjoy classical music a lot more.
So he's an idiot?
No he’s a semi real ninja
He can be both.
shit you’re right
Cigarette and cherry. Pretty underrated series. I was kinds of worried it was gonna go the NTR route when the girl's ex showed up but nah.
Yuuyami Tokkoutai
>some user had raws and started translating it
>everything got deleted or lost since it was around the /rs/ years
>another user actually managed to get the files a few years later
>lost again because of Yea Forums archives getting purged or having missing years
;_;
>NTR route when the girl's ex showed
is this your first manga
These threads are what OPT threads could be, but never deliver on. Nice picks anons.
Toyoda Minoru's manga don't get nearly enough mentions. Maybe it's the little girl in me, but Takeo-chan Bukkairou's made me cry more times than I'd like to admit.
Sounds cool, where are you getting the rates from?
Assuming neither of you are in Japan, where do you usually go to look for new untranslated stuff to read?
Natsume Ono's Lady and Oldman. I expect only other Natsume fans to be reading it at the moment.
A man of culture.
I haven't found the tank for volume 1, but there a few sites that keep links to files. I found some interesting pages on 13dl that I hope get even more interesting in the tank, although a later chapter has enough in the magazine too. It would probably be better if I could actually read the chapters too.
Hibiki won an Taisho in 2017, it's weird that I've never seen a thread about it
Because it feels like the author having one long masturbatory session.
Came to thank OP for this manga, one hell of a story.
Originally started reading because of the gender bender tag but it ended up being a really good story, one of my favorites and absolutely gripping at times.
You're not wrong, but it still is pretty entertaining to me seeing the mc just be fucking insane
I see 2 chapters of 11 volumes were translated. How many were lost? This should also be another example of why multiple backups are a good idea.
Impossible, I post it all the time.
I wonder if this person has any talent at all beyond cutting.
13dl is great. I've pretty much gotten to the point where I can judge a manga by its cover and how long the title is so I've found some good stuff on there.
I've been meaning to read it for a while, is it good?
Patrician, one of the best murder mystery manga I've ever read. Wish more authors would set their stuff in industrialization Japan.
It doesn't have everything though, and sometimes the quality can vary by volume or there aren't any of them at all, although I haven't found anything faster yet. Older links sometimes disappear too.
I'm damn sure it was mentioned, but never saw it happening, so, yeah.
I loved it! as good as his more well known Love Roma.
Five volumes were translated from Chinese to English. Maybe I should shoot the dead scanlations blogger a message but I doubt they have the translation.
I do have a few other sources but I prefer it over them. For most of their older manga they have a massive page of SF and RG links called ms2.1 or some shit. Otherwise manga-zip is a decent alternative. But yeah there's a lot of manga not on there.
nice, thanks. Hope the main guy grows a backbone.
What? Shits more contrived than Case Closed or Umineko, Oh shit let me erase all those hints and some more new hints that wont going anywhere because FUCK detective plot right?
Keyword "you". But all of Fujitas works are now getting translations thank god. Waited forever for Souboutei. Doesn't Disappoint either.
I hadn't noticed that page before. The downloads for magazine scans are useful, although they sometimes take time before being updated or don't seem complete, but nothing else I found seems any better when that happens.
>about a girl
Mangaupdates says it's gender bender.
I see tags for Female Disguised as Male, Only Girl in an All-Boys School.
Extremely cute loli, very well done mystery plot that is gradually revealed.
Also in (almost) full color.
For me is this one:
She seems quite cunning
What's it about?
Me and some other anons usually dumped it whenever a new chapter was translated until the end, the threads were pretty lively
I don't usually care about the magazine releases, they seem like such a pain in the ass to keep up with. I use the normal manga tag and just look at the tanks for anything interesting.
It's such a great feeling when something you've had your eye on starts to get translations. But I will probably end up learning Japanese thanks to this weird ass hobby.
Holyland.
>Same author as Girigiri Out
Who would have thought?
overrated snowflake self insert stuff.
Not him but you can read the raws here. I can't read nip but it seems like its actually about an autist girl
Those pages aren't completely representative of the content, but when I can't read it those stand out. Chapter 11 is nice, but might have too many nipples for some people. I've only found raws up to chapter 12 in February so far, and I hope that trend continues in future chapters.
I generally only bother when I remember about a chapter that should be out and it's a manga that could be interesting enough just looking at the art.
what even is this one about also is that the mangaka? she looks super cute in real life.
I asked what it's about, not the fucking raws, stupid.
Its a manga not a novel dipshit. Flip through the pages and use your brain for once instead of asking to be spoonfed.
>wears female boxer briefs over panties
>is cunning
>has short hair
she sounds and looks like the ideal tomboy childhood friend and love interest
The only flaw I have seen so far is she gets embarrassed having her shirt taken off. Her chest may not be as perfectly flat as the boys, so maybe she's just afraid of being found out. I have no idea how she's in that school at all though. The panties underneath aren't really necessary either.
i need to read this i'm going to put it on my read list now. she sounds like everything i would want in a tomboy girlfriend even down to wearing boyish form fitting briefs or spats over panties. her wearing them is not necessary but i appreciate the mangaka for adding in that extra detail about her character also it's nice to look at.
also i don't blame her for getting embarrassed about her chest.
>a girl in an an all-boys school
neat, a reverse oira sukeban
Only 1 chapter translated like 4 months ago but it's cool
I think I remember a thread several years ago where someone mentioned it but that's it
It's like Tokyo Ghoul but shorter and better (though that isn't saying much)
I know this has some followers on Yea Forums but I rarely see threads for it. Very lovely very cute art, great characters and some tearjerking moments here and there. If you like stuff like Aria, Flying Witch, YKK you would probably enjoy this. Its one of my favorite current manga. Mohoro is seriously a miracle.
Looks like a school with a large number of mentally handicapped students.
huh, this is a good horror AND sci-fi manga. a rarity.
Are you reading his new manga? Shadows House is good too.
>Just read Not Simple recently
One of my favorite manga of all time. I keep forgetting she is Japanese, her artstyle is peak Western and comfy as fuck.
Nodame cantabile is a beloved classic in some circles within Yea Forums
This is disappointing. I managed to find at least chapter 15, and it looks like it got axed and that was the last chapter. Why is this kind of plot/character so uncommon?
Pretty sure all the (few) posts about "Ryu, the Strongest Man on the Face of the Planet" are mine
tokyoscum.blogspot.com
This deserves translation. Looks funny
What about Dante's Divine Comedy by Go Nagai?
I am planning to check it out for sure. The piss fetish one I think I will give a miss though.
Autistic girl is strong.
>The piss fetish one
Name? Does it involve lolis as well?
I remember the final stretch of the manga getting really weird
this is so sad, i think i'm still going to read it anyway because it still has caught my attention
i recommend saotome senshu which is ongoing and is a very good tomboy romance manga were they tomboy asks out the boy at the start so there is no will they won't they just cute wholesome romance moments through out
I might need to add that to the list to read later, although it doesn't fit quite the same interests as the axed one seemed to.
>2019
>Am I forgotten?
I just finished it recently. Apart from a few great designs, fights and Theresa. It ain't amazing. Not really surprised it's forgotten. Too many asspulls as well. But overall it's still decent.
Pic unrelated.
i understand what you mean, i don't think anything will ever fully replace what was lost by having this story axed but we can always look forward to new stories in the future with cute tomboy type characters like her and what new stuff they will bring to fans of tomboys like you and i.
>cute
That's the idol who plays the MC in the live-action adaptation. Don't be fooled.
Here's one that's actually physically available in English that perfectly capture that special Monthly Ikki mood (RIP). But we'll never see ANY Iwaoka manga discussed on Yea Forums because
>no fanservice
>minimal conflict
>emotional timbre so soft you'll miss it if you don't pay attention
>no big surprises
Still, if you liked Planetes for the right reasons, this is one to check out even if you can't talk about it here.
Anyone else remember the gag anime? Because I read the manga and I watched the anime and I now remember only the anime.
similar to Twin Spica?
I wouldn't exactly call them "similar" in and of themselves, but I thoroughly enjoyed both series for somewhat similar reasons so yeah, I'd say give Saturn Apartments a shot if you liked Twin Spica.
Pastel.
It's a now generic slice of life romance novel with an idiot MC boy. This really appealed to me back then when I still believed in meeting your destined one. The early chapters are all just the MC falling in love on sight and dropping everything to chase after his one true love. It really was heartwarming.
Any of Shintaro Kago's work
Any of Usumaru Furuya's work.
Well any horror manga in general desu.
You don't know forgotten if you haven't read his previous work.
I've been in a few threads where it was brought up, although I haven't seen anyone talk about it since it finished
This always seemed like something Yea Forums should have been raving about. It's got the geopolitics GARfags like, pretty boys for the fujos, and battles for all the shonen kiddies.
Ero-guro is a pretty niche genre after all
>his
You're more apt to discuss it on Yea Forums than here, as it's pretty cut and dry.
There were plenty of threads when the anime aired.
>no fanservice
>minimal conflict
>emotional timbre so soft you'll miss it if you don't pay attention
>no big surprises
That's a killer for anything for the ADHD ridden modern world.
What's the drawcard of Monthly Ikki?
Hmm. I don't recall if there were any big reaction threads when it was translated but I do remember it being tooted every now and again before the anime was released. Its time came and went, I guess.
Maybe it did.
It was an enjoyable ride but a bit of a crap ending. Should've just ended with the time restart but everyone's happy.
It's incredibly rare to ever see threads about one-shots for obvious reasons.
I wish more chapters of Gag manga biyori got translated. So many fan parodies.
youtube.com
Nodame is good but there's not much to discuss on Yea Forums, the series gets mentioned every once in a while. And you know shitposters dont listen to classical music while shitposting.
His artstyle is notable. I do recall some anons posting Love Roma and his work in the past, but I didnt find anything worth reading besides Love Roma.
I remember the chapters dump on Halloween.
>And you know shitposters dont listen to classical music while shitposting.
I mean, that's patently wrong.
Anything that's not a shounenshit or one of the mega popular seinen/ healing manga.
Usogui, but then again gamble/mindgame manga aren't really popular in the first place
better translations when?
I reread this every once in a while. Makes me want to go out into the woods.
These aren’t discussed because their translations are finished and from a while ago. It’s like asking why no one discusses Bokurano.
typical nu/a/ zoomer
>majority of series are only discussed on Yea Forums while being translated
>why does no one want to discuss this ten year old manga with a finished translation
Retard
i should learn to read moon
You are the retard for thinking only discussing currently being published(and translated) shit is the right thing to do.
Nigga it's not that they shouldn't be discussed, it's that people have discussed it already and if you wanna say something about it, go make a thread yourself.
I remember seeing this all the time years ago
Bitch fuck off, the thread is about stuff that never gets discussed on Yea Forums. Bokurano got some threads but others didn't even when they were fresh. Lychee Light Club didn't even get scanlated, the english release got scanned eventually and it took a while for people to even notice that.
I’m not saying it is a good thing but that’s how the board works, especially because there are translators that directly post their progress here or a popular series is released on schedule, like shounen jump and kengan manga every week.
>shintaro kago
based i loved is work on bondage faeries as well
There's no need to be upset, it's just the why people don't talk about them so much. Feel free to talk about it.
Here's something I like that never gets discussed too.
>Lychee Light Club didn't even get scanlated
It did you dumbass, the group dropped it when Vertical announced the series was licensed. They also used the title Litchi Hikari Club, not Vertical’s Lychee Light Club.
Fucking zoomers whining about zoomers.
You can really tell how this place is infested with newfags now
Shit like Claymore and Sidonia used to get threads constantly
This was before your time boy
They’re also both over and had the most threads while their anime adaptations aired. But as far as I know most of Nihei’s fans were annoyed about the ending of Sidonia and don’t like Aspomiz that much either.
Take it easy, seriously. No one was pushing an opinion here, there's no point in trying to start shit.
You're not exactly wrong, but the Claymore post was clearly meant to be in jest.
Most people who were into Sidonia were waifufags not really Nihei fans
Nihei fans are too busy bitching about the shift in art style
You know where to get the raws? I'm dying to know what happens.
Just make a fucking thread if you want to talk about Litchi so goddamned much. Hell, go ahead and make a P-man and Kariage-kun thread while you're at it.
Bought mine from Kindle. Guess I can rip them if you want.
You should read/watch some interviews of her. She did the classic "find yourself in Europe" thing and never looked back.
I saved a picture of this manga two years ago because it looked cool. It’s still ongoing but has no English translation.
That would be much appreciated.
Here you go.

I’m not the other user but Natsume Ono is one of my favorite artists because she started out doing it as a hobby with random webcomics in the late nineties/2000s and didn’t really go professional until she was in her thirties. It was relieving to find out some people don’t really hit their stride at a young age.
I found Narutaru randomly when I was searching for some manga to read and when I finished it I literally looked at the ceiling for 5 minutes straight to comprehend what I just read it was pretty enjoyable but the ending is pretty fucked up.
Bernard Jou Iwaku. Loved the adaptation but discussion died the second it's over. It's about Yea Forums autism so that's a given but it's Yea Forums autism I like.
Where did you read this? Guessing they were raws
>when I finished it I literally looked at the ceiling for 5 minutes straight to comprehend what I just read it was pretty enjoyable but the ending is pretty fucked up
Sounds like my experience with reading Dragon Head.
Raws, yeah. Actually been thinking of translating it but it's a heavy read and I dunno if anyone's gonna be interested.
I am, but do what you want. How esoteric are the references?
Would be great, but I'd say it will be Aiura-level popular, which, to say, is pretty damn unknown.
Flare is already dead I was expecting a good end, but it was too much to ask for apparently.
I'm not actually much a reader so I don't know how unusual the books they're talking about are, but you never really need to have read the books to get what they're saying. Mostly popular stuff, though, I think, probably, like Anna Kavan's Ice or Murakami stuff.
And by heavy read, I mean it's a bloody novel of a manga. I'll probably translate and storytime a couple of untypeset chapters here sometime, see how it goes.
>even the margins are novels
I saw an Alien Nine thread once in all my years on Yea Forums. Sucks the author went digital. It really dragged down his art.
The only reason I recognise the title is this one yuri artist who keeps drawing the girls. How is the gayness level of the manga?
Thanks user.
After all the shitposting during Sidonia because of braindead shippers I'm not sure I would want it to get discussed here
I'll take an Aiura. I'll even take a panpanya.
When they ramble, they fucking ramble. I wonder in what planet does a high school girl reads Dostoyevsky though.
Kanbayashi blushes sometimes, I guess.
Don't see this being mentioned round here. A shame cause it really goes in depth of go nagai's life, his works and his impact on anime/manga
>tfw a group finally picked this back up
There were a couple threads about it some time ago, and Nagai discussion is usually more popular on /m/ anyhow
I dumped the first two chapters of pic related once, but it didn't gather too much attention. Moreover the really slow release rate doesn't help.
I need to start threads about death game manga more often
Based Fujita chads
I found a manga about veterinarians that I’ve never seen discussed here. There really is a series for every job occupation
>Never ever will be fully translated
Sad
>193 volumes
You could try it yourself
Yeah, i understand why nobody picks it up, but still
It never got finished you moron. It got dropped.
>hurr zoomers
Ironic
While I don't hate Sidonia, the fact that is isn't Blame or biomega annoys me.
My dad accidentally bought me this manga when I was a kid, thinking it was something else.
Knew I was forgetting something , given how I loved Mazinger and devilman I should read it.
Come to think of it, and while I wouldn't expect it to be mentioned given its obscurity, With the light is an old Josei manga, which is quite literally about Autism.
I've also never seen In the clothes named fat mentioned here (written by Anno's wife), Sakuran or Rivers Edge or helter skelter.
I never really saw much discussion of ueshiba riichi's works outside of Myssterious girlfriend x.
the series eventually started getting distracted too much.
The fact I can't tap a girl like this is disappointing. I love petite women so much.
Knights of Sidonia only started getting threads with the anime, nobody gave a fuck about it before.
Aposimz is good.
I always got off to the test tube scene
One of my favorite romances, never see it mentioned on Yea Forums but its been about 6 years old with an author that passed away shortly after finishing it
I have no idea where the manga would have gone, but I wanted to see it eventually get to the point where she got to try things with the boy who knew about her. I don't think there are enough chapters not in volume 1 to even include in a second.
Of course it had threads before the anime, it was by the fucking Blame mangaka.
With the Light would probably almost never be talked about because AFAIK it doesn’t have scans, the English books are going out of print and the mangaka died before ending the series. It sounds very good though, especially because disorders like autism aren’t discussed much in Japanese stuff.
I read In Clothes Called Fat and none of the characters had any redeeming qualities. It was fine to read but it’s a very unpleasant manga.
It didn't.
>I wonder in what planet does a high school girl reads Dostoyevsky though
This one, but they hide in the library.
>That filter
I'm gonna vomit
I think there was one at /m/ at some point or it may be my imagination.
>Make a manga about woman's football
>Immediately dropped the truth bomb
Also fuck Crunchyroll for the Americanized translation
There are occasional threads on /m/, but it's mostly shitposting with little actual discussion.
Even if someone did, who would have the time and will to read it all?
The most redpilled manga about your meme dream of becoming an artist
>I wonder in what planet does a high school girl reads Dostoyevsky though
Are you american?
I hope so, because Claymore even had threads recently.
not going to lie me as well
