The really stupid shit was introducing Manbagi as a secondary love interest who stands no chance in hell of winning. The whole "make 100 friends" premise was flawed from the beginning. It's impossible to flesh out, even slightly, that many characters, so they're all incredibly one-note and rotate out each chapter as accessories for Komi-san.
