I just hate the mods not banning people posting jap pages on Yea Forums. It could be so much better for most manga series. If you for whatever reason want to read unspoiled english manga you can't frequent those threads.

Shows with one or two and nothin else, have really good fanbases. Shows like Haibane Renmei, Texhnolyze, Shiki and etc. are fun to discuss since the fanbase is small and talkative. But by god, big shonens like HxH, Jojo, AOT and shows with many incarnations like gundam, are impossible to discuss without it devolving into a shitstorm of shitposting, pointless baiting and ridiculous shipping.

Unfortunately people are going to want to discuss spoilers so it can’t be helped. What actually sucks is when someone plasters one of those pages in the OP without putting the name of the work.

The worst offenders are people spamming spoilers in the OP the second raw pages appear online. Unspoiled ofc.
The actual issue is the entire fandom polluting itself with the raw pages and it being impossible not to be spoiled if you browse the threads. Someone will talk about the untranslated pages and plot points of the new chapter you havent had the chance to read in english.
One of the most fun you can have on Yea Forums (in the past) is the reading of new translated chapter with everyone reacting to the pages as they're being posted, thats just gone with current moderation. Not enough people avoid the spoiler threads to warrant dumping the english chapter that comes out couple days later.

What you do is irrelevant, it has to be an effort of the moderation team.

The spoilers are usually only in one thread days before the chapter comes out specifically for spoilers. You can easily avoid then.
