Easy to fix. Goto china/wherever to get demon flowers become demon (Or wherever original doctor who turned Muzen himeself to cure him from certain death). Use un-demon cure to live past 25 (Probably something the doctor also knew about but Muzen is retarded and killed him before getting any info out of said doctor that brought demon medicine to japan). Its magic there are no rules there are plenty of loose ends. Muzen may be peanuts in japan vs. other countries. If visiting doctors knew way back knew how to turn people and had knowledge no one else in japan had they probably had training and were from outside the country. Not to mention they double set the precedence that demon turning is a good way to cure certain death issues unless you suffering from overdosing on westaria poisioning as a human which would probably be a bad idea to turn into a demon at that point as they are basically allergic to it.

I think it's more like no mark user ever lived past age 25 because the stress it places on the body. Since Hamejima's body is older than that, he can break down any moment.

This is something that is really pissing me off. They know, due to Nezuko and Tamayo, that becoming a demon doesn't necessarily mean you'll become evil or a slave of Muzan. So it might be worth it to temporarily accept the offer.

Gyomei is practically dead after this fight, winning or not. If he becomes a demon, he would have a much better chance at fighting Koku & Muzan, although he'd probably want to break the curse before going for Muzan. Same goes for Muichiro. He could regen his arm and fight.
If they hate demons so much, they could simply suicide after killing Koku and Muzan. Due to the mark all of them will be dead soon anyway. Only problem is if it takes long for them to regain consciousness and their memories.
They could also attempt to easy demons to regrow limbs and shit, why only Genya can do it?

Tanjiro spent 2 years with Urokodaki. There was a two month time skip between the end of the Drum House arc and beginning of the Spider Mountain arc. There's a 4 month timeskip after spider mountain, 3 months after the Train demon arc, and 7 or 8 months after Red Light District.
