Am I the only one who really really really likes Maou-sama's voice? I can't remember the last time an anime protagonist had such a smooth and distinctly masculine voice. Really fits his character design too.

True. The QUALITY animation is disappointing, but doesn't really bother me nearly as much as the godawful design changes for the LN and anime. That's probably not on the studio, but it's hard to say for certain. The LN designs got changed at the same time as the anime announcement.
