Is it fine to start with Kizu?
Monogatari
No
best girl in bake
You can either watch it before or after Bake
If you like mystery, watch it after Bake. If you want the story told chronologically, watch it Kizu and Neko Kuro before Bake
Release order always. The series jumps around chronologically anyway so watching the whole thing chronologically would be a headache.
No, fuck you. Release order.
You can watch it whenever, but you might as well start with it. If you don't, then start with Bake, but then there's not really a "best" time to watch Kizu.
Literally fuck you guys. Author himself said that Kizu can be the starting point, and it was the third novel. I agree that all the tv stuff should be in release order, but Kizu is an exception. I mean, it was delayed to hell and back. There's no reason why should watch all of Monogatari before watching Kizu when it was released after freaking Nise in book form.
what do I have to do to be able to experience vampire loli in order
The events of Kizu aren't even supposed to be some kind of mystery. The only people saying that are anime onlys that want to force other people to have the experience they had.
It was released before Nise
You could but you're just going to be dissapointed by everything that comes after it.
Proving my point even more.
Watch everything in chronological order of release
Alternative view orders are for retards
Sure.
If you're actually interested in the story, you might want to keep a chronological chart at hand.
It's easy to get lost the further you go from Bake since arcs tend to jump around in time a lot.
Bake -> Kizu -> Nise -> Neko (Kuro) -> Second Season -> Hana -> Tsuki -> Owari -> Koyomi -> Owari S2 -> Zoku Owari
Kizu before bake is fine - Nisio himself said so - but I personally wouldn't recommend it. It's still better than obsessing over release order despite none of the elements in Kizu being at all intended to be mysterious past nise.
like everyone says, release order is the best with exception of kizu going right after bake
I would rather recomend starting with Bake and then Kizu, Bake handles character introductions better.
>Author himself said
who cares, experience is 100% better by watching it in realease order, having that kind of mistery about Shinobu suits the story perfectly, also the tone of Kizu is different from the comfier tone of the tv series, so watching it as a starting point will definetly be missleading, but watching it as a movie event after knowing the whole story also improves the experience
and so, fuck you too, your opinion is shit
>Author himself said that Kizu can be the starting point
Nisio is a hack, he doesn't know anything.
You can, but you shouldn't, especially if you mean the movie and not the book.
Kizu just means a lot more if you've read/watched at LEAST Bake, and in the case of the movie, a lot of shit is kind of obtuse and unexplained because monologues were cut out and the direction style was pretty drastically different from the normal series.
>muh mystery
A mystery that isn't written like a mystery and doesn't really have that much mystique all while managing to water down and confuse the emotions of half the arcs. Watching it that way is just as bad as, if not worse than, starting with Kizu.
this is literally the best watch order. it’s for the best experience in terms of story arcs, plot progression and mystery
Kizu was the second novel though, you are just a faggot animeonly.
>reading LN is something to be proud about
just end yourself my friend
anime >>>> shit >>> LN
it doesn't matter wether the LN is shit or not, you can't just go and say that Kizu is intended to be watched after everything else because it's not
If you're arguing for LN order, you should also mention watching hana inbetween ss and koyomi before owari-1.
Not him, but the reason I don't get as passionate about the other elements being moved around by the anime is that it wasn't due to delays - the anime did the order they did in regards to those intentionally. Also unlike with Kizu the airing order doesn't ruin other arcs by depriving the viewer of context. The context of Hana does nothing important for the rest of SS and the context of Koyomi does literally nothing for Owari.
Watching it as the second entry is fine since it actually gives proper context to Shinobu's behavior in Nise. Watching it as the starting point might be a little too much though, especially when the movies remove Araragi's narration/thoughts (which is best supplemented by watching Bake first, then Kizu).
Please stop asking about watch order
Its so retarded
Theres the order the producers intended and fans who watched it at the time it came out got, then theres the "whatever" order and you are free to what the fuck you want with it.
99% of people in monogatari threads watched it in the release order, it should be fine your ass too.
This is the correct option. You could argue kizu before bake but please just don't listen to the fags saying you should watch it after owari. Release order except for kizu is the way to go
