What a stupid fucking episode. Lelouch just happens to lose control over his geass at the exact moment he says "kill all Japanese"? Also am I really supposed to believe Britannian soldiers would just follow the order to murder thousands of civilians (and their children) in cold blood just like that, without the slightest hesitation, no questions asked?
What a stupid fucking episode...

If you didn't enjoy every second of this episode just stop watching and fuck off.
If you were a writer, we wouldn't be able to have fun.
Code Geass is based because it goes over limitations of "realistic". If you want that go watch LoGH or whatever.
But Euphinator was the highlight of the first season you pleb. Geass becoming harder to control as it grows in power was foreshadowed heavily with Mao being the most blatant example. Lelouch's E-rank luck constantly fucking his plans at the worst possible time is also an essential part of his character. Also Britannian Military was willing to execute civilians when ordered from first episode onwards. No Britannian solder cared when Clovis ordered the massacre of Shinjuku Ghetto or when Cornelia did the repeat at Saitama. If anything most Brits would be happy to execute what they perceived as Eleven thrash. Seems like you missed the memo on the episode in R1 where one of the key gripes Lelouch had against Britannian society was their adoration of the strong and distaste of the weak.
Euphy got what she deserved and made the rest of the series better with her death.
This
I enjoyed not only this ep but even the entirety of R2 all the way through. It's like some of you people are so dead inside you can't even turn your brains off and enjoy something fun
It’s ok to enjoy Code Geass, as long as no one pretends it’s a very intelligent and serious show. It’s hilarious and very dumb at times but that’s the fun.
R2 was unironically better though. R1 was mostly spent on introducing the characters & setting the stage for sequel and still had similar plotholes & retardation people love to hate R2 for. Cat chasing filler episode was just as stupid as its derivatives in R2 and none of the plot holes of R2 have anything that comes even close to Mao surviving being shot repeatedly because of "amazing Britannian medical science" yet somehow that same science was unable to save Euphemia from one gun shot several episodes later. Most people mad at R2 are just butthurt Kallen & Shirleyfags that cant handle that their favourite lost the Lulubowl or Suzakuhaters that could not stand the thought of Lelouch & Suzaku reconciling their differences for the common good.
>as long as no one pretends it’s a very intelligent and serious show
If you have friends who do this, you should probably go ahead and just kill them. It's the merciful thing to do, they'll never make it out there anyway
I watched both seasons when they aired and honestly it's been so long now that I don't remember much detail, but I do remember not really giving that much of a fuck about the plot and just really loving the amazing soundtrack and the melodrama. I'll give it a re-watch sooner or later
>another retard that calls shitty writing or obnoxious asspull a pleb filter
What a fucking idiot.
R1's best episode was the one where he mindwipes shirley to be honest
But it was neither you retarded mong. If event is foreshadowed and happens in plausible way in-universe it is not an asspull. SAZ massacre happening because Lulu's Geass evolved at the worst possible time is consistent with the way Geass was hinted to work and Lelouch's luck fucking him into ass.
Its not like Code Geass ever was some super realistic or serious 2deep4u anime. Melodrama was always the name of the game, and Euphinator served really well in that regard.
>have to watch the recap movies to watch the new film because the recap movies change some parts of the story
i wish they released both of the seasons with the movie changes put in
It was okay. Watching Lelouch deal with his leaked secret identity, introduction of Mao & Shirley's suffering was fun, but to me the Euphinator debacle was even better because of the superior melodrama. I admit though that my perspective is colored by the experience of watching it with Yea Forums and how hilarious it was to see people losing their shit over Euphinator.
But you really don't. Only thing of note that they changed in recap movies was retconning Shirley's death and adding her running together to school with Kallen in R2 epilogue scene. Her role in Resurrection is even more neglible: short cameo scenes were she does nothing of importance. You could even say that she was retconned into existence solely to be cucked along with Kallen because Lelouch chooses C.C. in the end.
Poor Shirley really exists just to suffer: how many girls have their deaths retconned for the sake of getting cucked by their love rivals?
In this moment, Code Geass goes full R2. It will go back to normal for a while and then gradually work its way back to full R2, at which point you'll probably enjoy this level of contrived bullshit. I know I do, but even if I like R2's ridiculousness this scene is still a bit too jarring for me.
How did you make it through 21 episodes of an anime that you didn't find fun at all to reach this scene? Are you actually calling those episodes shit, or are you just an idiot? It at least had some level of realism until this point. Aside from Mao getting shot full of holes and coming back fine the next day.
Stay filtered pleb. The show remains an absolute classic regardless of what you think about it.
I always had the impression that this twist had been made as some kind of parody of Gundam seed. Before that episode everything seemed to indicate that the story was going in the direction of Gundam seed, the two rival friends who thanks to the princess manage to create a third effective front to stop hostilities.
But surprise .. nope.
I love Code Geass but don't delude yourself into thinking that it was ever realistic at all. Dramatic curveball storytelling happened right from the start together with supernatural crap. Or will you be arguing that immortal humans capable of granting superpowers or giant combat mechas with superweapons are realistic ? Shit happening at worst time? Refer to multiple scenes of Suzaku fucking up Lelouch's plans in Lancelot, him losing to Cornelia because terrorists didn't follow his orders or Lulu.exe bluescreening because he found out Suzaku was Lancelot. Curveballs? Muh vengeful exiled prince, classmate knows my secret identity, my best friend was my worst enemy all along, my 2nd favourite sister is fucking my rebellion.
Don't fucking kid yourself about R1 being any more "realistic" than R2 at all. Difference was that R1 sent more time in establishing setting than pewpew Gundam Robot fights. This may have fooled some plebs into thinking CG was some super-speshul "realistic" anime, but rewatch it and you'll see that it was never the case.
If you want to bitch about muh realism in Code Geass before ep 22 of R1
It was one of the best in the show. Where's the cap of the Yea Forums post that explains the scene?
but not because of good writing
because of the opposite
>Lelouch just happens to lose control over his geass at the exact moment he says "kill all Japanese"?
No he had been using his geass quite alot and kept having it ready under his mask whenever he was dressed up as Zero for so long, it got too natural for him to notice it. C.C. Foreshadowed this like mad early in the show that he'd soon loose a handle on it had he kept using it so often which is what he did..
>Britannian soldiers would just follow the order to murder thousands of civilians (and their children) in cold blood just like that, without the slightest hesitation
They did hesitate and did nothing until she herself pulled out a gun and shot at the crowd. They soon complied because after as a direct order from royalty it's either they do it or face severe charges of treason because the Britainnian law don't tolerate that shit.
>Muh good writing
>Muh elated mind
Get fucked Yea Forumsard. You are just too retarded to comprehend it and your mind cannot wrap itself around being wrong once again.
It was also pretty much directly spelled out when the previous couple of episodes introduced another character, Mao, who has a similar source of power and loses control over it.
>realism
Can i get some of my uberjap Suzaku?
Sure. Even before the "Live" geass that made him able to predict future, your aryan Ubermensch boi Suzaku was able to run on walls, be faster than automatic gunfire, break machine guns with kick as well as cut wire of the bomb which Lelouch claimed would be impossible for normal human. He was also the best pilot in series too.
>this delusional
rage more
Cg was such a masterpiece
Fags still talk about it even after a fucking decade
It had interesting world, great music, compelling characters, lots of hilarious autism and did not take itself too seriously despite what the brainlets claim about the first season.
10/10 kino, would watch with Yea Forums again
^^
>there are supernatural elements so it can’t be realistic
Boy this thread sure is making me hungry for a pizza.
A pizza from Pizza Hut! (Make sure to check your emails for your voucher codes guys)
Suzaku is my favorite slut.
you are right ...... you are too smart to follow the soul and have fun. most people are more interested in stories being full of blood and madness than consistency
Britannians are an occupying military force. It's not unheard of. They've already carried out massacres before. Besides, Code Geass as a whole was never a realistic show, my dude.
Seeing as half the complaints levied against R2 were mostly about supernatural stuff, the R1 purists that it was totally realistic instead are hypocrites. C.C alone had telepathy, stealth & ability to mindbreak people with random nightmares through indirect contact on top of the regeneration, immortality & being able to grant superpowers. And none of their workings were explained so you can shove your realism up your ass even in R1. You seem to mistake internal consistency for realism. Unfortunately for realism purists both R1 & R2 were internally consistent while both being unrealistic at the same time.
Suzaku was the best slut with multiple masters: Britannian military, gay scientist earl, Euphy, Charles, Schneizel, Lelouch & finally Nunnally. Slutzaku really got around.
>predict
The live geass didn't make him predict anything.
All it did was make Suzaku have the ability to move fast and attack strongly, without being intimidated by the future sight of his enemy.
The Albion was stronger,so Bismark could never win. He lost when he decided to face that attack instead of evading.
I keep forgetting the Schneizel part for some reason
It's even better because it was her that supposedly smuggles Lelouch's body out of area 11 somehow. The movies are absolute garbage that require you to watch the shows, but cut out important parts and change stuff that doesn't work. Like why would Lelouch suddenly decide to kill all geass researcher?
Kallen was the best pilot. This is both stated and show at their last fight.
I hope school starts again soon.
Could have just had her suck his dick, what the fuck is leouluchs problem
What if Lelouch accidently told Euphie to go fuck herself?
>without the slightest hesitation
Speedwatcher.
Euphinator is the best you fucking pleb
Having an overpowered machine does not a better pilot make
>something is objectuvely true
>N-no, my version is true, not the official!
I agree that predict was wrong choice of wording, but it gave him spider sense that let him detect danger because Suzaku was chad enough to turn his Live command into superpower. Examples of Suzaku's geass-induced spider sense include him sensing the assassination of that Honorary Britannian Soldier early on in R2 as well as his failed assassination of Charles where his geass command did not let him fight Bismarch hand to hand because he would have gotten his ass beat. Scene you mention happened later after Suzaku developed his Geass-induced superpower even further into boosting his physical capabilities like you mentioned. Suzaku is OP as fuck.
That's because it was really short phase around R2E19-21 where Suzaku was willing to assassinate Charles if Schneizel would make him Knight of One. But in true Slutzaku fashion he decided to betray Schneizel and become Lelouch's bitch instead.
I just ignored what Shirley's existence in Resurrection because it honestly makes no difference. Just assume that either C.C. smuggled him out or that it was part of Lelouch's great Zero Requiem keikaku to smuggle his corpse the fuck out makes far more sense.
Except that you're blatantly wrong about that. In final fight Kallen was able to barely tie against Suzaku despite having the superior machine and being in better condition at the start of their fight. Even then she would have fallen to her death if Gino had not rescued her. Closest to beating Suzaku Kallen ever got was during 2nd Black Rebellion where Guren Seiten outclassed Lancelot Conquista by so much on the technical level that Suzaku's Geass forced him to detonate FLEIJA he carried which still made it tie on technicality. Every other time they fought ended in either tie or Suzaku kicking her ass. Suzaku also did not have trouble beating other aces while Kallen lost like bitch to Chinese cripple in equal machine. Stay mad that your waifu is worse than manwhore.
>if you don’t want bad writing go watch a good show
A show can have twists that aren’t pants on head retarded
Depending on the wording and how Euphie would interpret it she'd have either masturbated/fucked Lelouch once or would have attempted to do that till her death. Since she and Nunnally used to fight over who could marry Lelouch as kids combined with Lelouch's luck Euphie would probably have kept trying to fuck Lelouch forever. So instead of delivering Lulu to the Daddy because Zero killed his one tru luv Suzaku would have done so because he got cucked. Check pixiv & boorus, there's probably doujin where that happens somewhere.
Euphie was madfragging with that P90. Sick.
>If event is foreshadowed and happens in plausible way in-universe it is not an asspull.
Its not that losing control of his geass wasn't foreshadowed. The Problem is the dumb way this situation came to happened. An educated, nearly adult person jokingly saying he could order her to "kill the japanese" like some teen edgy boy. How retarded.
This post in no way manages to defend the convenience of his geass becoming permanent at the absolute worst and most convenient to continue the narrative time
But it wasn't pants on head retarded, it was brilliant.
But progressing the plot through dumb situations was what Code Geass was about both in R1 & R2. Lelouch was also "edgy" teenager full of daddy/mommy issues from the get go & his way to solve them was to kill his parents after finding out how meaningless they were in E21 of R2. In R1 his mommy issues played central part in killing Clovis & attempting to corner Cornelia for answers and he was almost ready to get rid of Euphy because of his hateboner for Daddy Charles so you can't blame that shit on R2.
If you insist that R1 was somehow super realistic & did not rely on convenient & "dumb" narratives before Euphinator then pls explain Mao's survival, how V.V. managed to somehow knock Suzaku, Lelouch, Euphemia & Kallen all unconscious at the same time in episode 18 and transport them from Shikinejima to Kaminejima, explain how cat was able to conveniently grab Zero mask or how convenient wind blew Euphemia's hat off at the Ashford festival. Just face the truth that Code Geass was always dumb, the sooner you accept this the sooner you can enjoy it as kino it is instead of some 2deep4u masterpiece you think it was before it was "ruined".
if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree and all that
code gay ass is retarded but it's also brilliant and one of the best anime of all time.
and the kill all nips episode is probably the most hilarious and cathartic moment in anime history
Are you suggesting that Lelouch isn't an edgy teen boy?
I see that you are man with taste as well. Backstabbing Elevens constantly proved how they deserved the massacre. Even before Euphinator happened the Japanese Black Knights were immediately ready to abandon Zero when he was MIA until Diethard reminded them that they would be nothing without him. Many anons were butthurt over Black Knight's betrayal in E19 of R2, but that was foreshadowed all the way in R1. Having the Black Knights get rekt immediately and being reduced to the backdrop of Lulu/Schneizel showdown was satisfying as fuck though not quite as good as Euphinator scene. Its ironic that only Eleven with any sort of loyalty was the Lulu's ninja meido.
I was pissed because Euphy was my favorite character. Fuck you.
>lelouche is a genius
>but not smart enough to come up with a counter measure because his geass was triggering randomly
wow. what a show. explains why his final plan for world peace was so moronic
This moment is kino when you know it's coming during a rewatch.
>He didn't enjoy the Euphinator
Into the trash your opinion goes.
How can an anime be retarded and brilliant? That’s like an oxymoron.
Just shows that you're absolute brainlet who missed the entire point of Zero Requiem. It was always about giving people chance to decide their future for themselves instead of enforcing his will on them by force ever since Lelouch & Suzaku rejected Charles's plan of Human Instrumentality Mk II. Watch R2 E21, 24 & 25 again and you'll see that Lelouch specifically rejected both Charles & Schneizel's plans because they removed human agency. Lelouch himself states in 24 & 25 that he's gambling on people being able to put their differences behind them for the sake of peace when given a suitable chance.
tl;dr so even brainlet like you can understand: Zero Requiem wasn't plan just for world peace, it was about giving people chance to decide their own fate. It also worked in-universe no matter how unrealistic it is, so enjoy being btfo
Even if you give this part a pass you're IMMEDIATELY given the paradime that Callen wasn't geassed into forgetting about Lelouches sister like the rest of the students, yet when the sister comes back, she doesn't recognize her at all or wonder why lelouch is having a breakdown over it.
Eh, that's a bit misleadingly described. They barely got to talk before the guy was apparently going to take drugs and such. Never really got the chance to talk about the other issue.
Lelouch was smart but also immature. He isn't perfect. This point is made a dozen times.
>that 3rd code geass movie
holy shit lads , they fully raped this show
FUCK SUNRISE
Well, Bismark might be a better swordsman on the ground, but Suzaku had the better robot.
Meh. It was OK
Adults can and do say dumb things all the time.
Anyone denying this probably isn't an adult.
What? The 3rd movie was fine. Didn't "rape" anything. You must be high.

>Also am I really supposed to believe Britannian soldiers would just follow the order to murder thousands of civilians (and their children) in cold blood just like that,
Similar things have happened in real life: npr.org
Granted, Brits are not as soulless and buggish as Americans are, but nevertheless, it's what soldiers do. They kill people for a living and the guys who followed the princess in CG are the grunts who are too dumb for college. The ones that do have a conscience have been trained to suppress it and be a good boy.
You're either butthurt Kallen/Shirleyfag or salty that Lelouch didn't stay dead & most of what fans guessed was canonized (Lelouch surviving and getting his father's Code, choosing to hide because Lelouch vi Britannia must stay, taking the name L.L. & travelling together with C.C. etc.) Only thing that got "raped" was Shirley's retconned death, but she's so irrelevant that it can be ignored. If you really wanted to bitch at something you should bitch about Zilkistan Knightmares or how they got Geass without Code to grant them
Still doesn't change the fact that Best Girl C.C won
