Fate

For reasons unknown, Nasu has hired (You) to write a story regarding the Third Holy Grail War. He has given you the creative freedom to do whatever you wish, only stating that you should abide by the following information

>Takes place in Fuyuki in the 1930s, on the cusp of WWII
>Acht has the Einzbern Forest and Castle ready
>There are two Edelfelt sisters who summom a Saber-class Servant in two aspects due to their Ore Scales
>The Matou, Tohsaka, and Einzbern participate
>The Church supervises the HGW for the first time
>The Einzberns summon Manjew who dies early
>The Edelfelts get to the end but lose to the Tohsaka heir
>The older Edelfelt leaves Japan and promises to never return
>The younger Edelfelt's fate is unknown
>The Lesser Grail was destroyed before the victor had been decided
>The evocation site of the Grail is at the Fuyuki Church
>Only "proper" Heroic Spirits can be summoned
>Fighting for the Lesser Grail also happened between the Imperial Army and the Nazis in the Imperial Capital

I tell him to fuck off and finish mahoyo before he has a right to talk to me.

Aha! I retcon Mahoyo into the new story

And assassin makes people blow up on contact, don't forget that.

>>assassin
>>Islam
>>blow up
What did Nasu mean by this?

Actually, he transmultates brain matter into blackpowder with a touch.
I don't understand how that could be useful for an assassin, but it's a cool ability tho

Oh right since only Hassans can be summoned in Fuyuki, you get a tiny Hassan which blows people up

I summon great historical entities but in a great plot twist they're actually cute girls.

Enough for the gatcha. Urobutcher must write a 3rd grail war spin off now

Wasn't the younger Edelfelt sister Tokiomi's mother? So you also either have to write a compelling love story between two rival families, or just take the easy way out with rape.

Attached: images.png (190x221, 7K)

Writing fateshit isn't hard. Anyone could do it. The point is, that the designs have to be good.
All people care about with fate is good looking girls. No one gives a flying fuck about the "lore".

Attached: 381fdb28d2c980704ca5e47a98af8932caae21b3.jpg (1280x720, 320K)

Its right with Apocrypha. But I dont amatour fags can write Zero and Strange Fake

Attached: why not both.jpg (400x400, 21K)

Strange Fake isn't even out finished and Zero is a mess when it comes to characters.

Apocrypha is mess. In Zero all characters have sth we care about except maybe Maiya, assassin and Risei

If it's a Zero like deal, then it probably wouldn't come out too terribly.
Like, in Zero Nasu had an entirr outline of the plot and most of the characters
Urobuchi changed a few things and 9 serted a bunch of other things, but you could make it as a paint by the numbers deal.

I'll jut write more Rin fanfiction. I love Rin!

Would you guys make all new servants wholesale, reuse servants or some mix?

>The younger Edelfelt's fate is unknown
The young sister marrie with the tohsaka and of that relationship born tokiomi

Honestly the real question about this is what heroic spirit would be suitable for the two Sabers.

> Sabers: Male & Female Musashi
> Lancer: Scathach
> Caster: Skadi
>Assassim: Summer Scathach

Damn, not enough for an Aoko grail war.
Someome send a tweet to Koyama saying we need Archer Aoko, Rider Aoko, and Berserker Aoko

You can't put love story and rape in the same sentence and make it viewable by the public

Mindbreak?

>FGO servants
Please no.

>rape your mortal enemy so hard they become your loving wife
Nice

>Male and Female Musashi
Female Musashi is from a different universe and can't be summoned in the Fuyuki Grail War you fucking secondary. Begone with you.

There are like, two hundred of them now user, of you don't want FGO servants ot will get pretty hard to come up with new ones

For Sabers, maybe use Finnish heroes since the Edelfelts are Finnish? Vainamoinen and Ilmarinen are brothers, so they could work?

Lol but Zero is the worst spin off and Strange Fake is a mess too.

Only guy you can trust is Meteo.

The Grail wasn't tainted yet in this one so we could use some big shot servants not in FGO in the war as long as they abide by the "proper" heroic spirit conventions, whatever that means.

Not with that attitude

Attached: zouken-matou-fate-zero-97.2.jpg (210x240, 19K)

I'm sick of Fate but the Third War is about the only thing I could stomach since it would at least tie into the main timeline a little more.
>MC is an India Jones explorer type (think the Kosugi family from La-Mulana) looking for fame and fortune, summons Baron Munchausen as Archer (or maybe Caster) or maybe even Sun Wukong
>Nazi rep summons Longinus using the Lance
>Dunno who the Edelfelts summoned, confer with Nasu on what their double-Saber deal was
>Imperial rep summons Nobu or Tamamo or something? Maybe Emperor Jimmu, not really sure.
>Matous summon exploding Assassin or something
>Tohsaka's summon Genghis Khan Rider or something, I dunno.
Since it's basically all-out warfare it'd more interesting as a straight up romp rather than a more subdued urban fantasy affair like Nasu or a Butcher-style edgefest, hence the India Jones MC.

Only if they're saberface clones.

The Saber has to be the same individual in two forms.

Oh yeah, that's right. You can't have antiheroes and evil heroic spirits in the third grail war, unless Avenger summoning already stopped that rule from taking effect

Nah, Ore Scales work by summoning the same servant, since each sister is one half of a whole. You'd need a saber known for being two things or have two distinct legends about him/her

Pretty sure the Tohsakarep summoned Archer. Assassin's master was a foreigner.

Why not make them Altera and Genghis Khan? Considering how many people confuse Attila the Hun with Genghis Khan it'd be fun to make Genghis as Altera's velber imouto

Chevalier D'Eon Male and Female.

>extella
Pass

Sigurd/Siegfried
Welsh!King Arthur/Medieval!King Arthur
Tristan/Diarmuid

Don't ruin Genghis, he had nothing to do with Velber. The entire point of the Edelfelt's Saber is that they abused their Ore Scales to summon two of the exact same servant, which took on different personifications of that hero's legend. So basically you need a hero that has two distinctly different legends about them.

Sigurd and Siegfried.

Two popular Servants who haven't been used that much, with Northern European backgrounds so they should be easy to summon.

Where is that stated?

>King Arthur
You already know why that won't work you fucking lummox.

Siegfried/Sigurd works surprisingly well. Which one would answer to the older or younger based on their legend?

There's a ton of inventors. Ludwig van Beethoven, Inō Tadataka, Marco Polo, Minamoto Yoshitsune (actual Minamoto Yoshitsune, not Ushi)

Attached: DnoucibWsAAf89L.jpg (808x853, 69K)

Still not saberfaces. It's not a fate entry without a saberclone.

Assassin's master being a foreigner puppeter is frok HA. He would close off streets with land mines to funnel his enemies into another street with dozes/hundreds of puppers with machine guns, while assassin would stay hidden in the middle of the puppets waiting to get a drop on an unsuspecting enemy.

Siegfried is the more modern rendition, right? So that should be the younger siblings' Servant I think.

>implying Rule of Cool isn't the only rule that matters in the Nasuverse

Well, that's really annoying to work with.
I can't think of anything to do with that right now, oh well.

Also halfway through the war Nazis stole the Lesser Grail and ended ip causing a three way battle between the SS, The Imperial Japanese Army and the Einzbern party

Hollow Ataraxia, upon which this whole thing is based, had no additional saber clones or saberfaces.

Was that stated somewhere in FHA? I don't remember anything like that.

That's fine, I just can't fit that Assassin thing into the whole set-up.

Bazzet fights Demon Baby Assassin's master and gets killed, she complains about this stuff.
Nazis stealing the grail is from an interview iirc or maybe character material

Also, pretty sure one of the masters was a dead apostle

Are these the known canon characters?

Edelfelt Sisters
Sabers - ?
Darnic Prestone Yggdmillenia
Lancer - Fionn mac Cumhaill
Tohsaka
Archer - ?
Matou
??? - ?
Unknown Master
??? - ?
Einzbern
Avenger - Angra Mainyu
Dioland
Assassin - Midget Hassan-i-Sabbah
Supervisor - Risei Kotomine

This is modern nasu we're talking about that's hypothetically asking you to write all this. You also forget that Takeuchi is probably going to force a saberface in one way or another.

He'd also work better with the whole
>follow your heart
Thing and let the the younger sister get seduced by the enemy

We can just get someone other than Takeuchi to do the character art, like when they got Wada to do Extra's art. Only we ask the artist not to make a saberface. Oh and by the way we only know Darnic was in the Apocrypha universe's version of the Third Fuyuki Grail War, there's no evidence for him being in the prime universe's version.

>Since it's basically all-out warfare
I'd also make it pretty brutal, the church had to start supervising it because things got out of hand in the second war, but I don't think they'd be able to suddenly change that too much.

>Dioland
Could work, but does he have the ability to use puppets?

He's Faldeus Dioland's relative whose confirmed to have puppet magecraft. No real difference from what we knew before Strange Fake except now its possible that the americans were involved in the clusterfuck.

The 3rd Grail War's conclusion was decided on the third day, that's why FHA's loop only lasts 3 days

No, the 4 day loop is only because Avenger died 4 days in. The fighting went on without him.

- Jubstacheit purchased a land on the outskirts of the city (the Einzbern's forest) and constructed a base in it by bringing a castle from the family's homeland and rebuilding it in that land (the Tohsaka family had to work hard to conceal both the purchase of the land and the building of the castle from public eye).

- The Edelfelt sisters used their money to have two small mansions built within Fuyuki.

- The Berserker class is replaced by Avenger, a break in the design of the Greater Grail by the Einzbern master.

- Avenger is supposed to be Angra Mainyu, the God of Evil, but turns out to only be the nameless villager the myth of Angra Mainyu was based upon, and is exceptionally weak, lacking any features, personality or Noble Phantasm.

- Avenger is defeated on the fourth day, exceptionally early.

- Edelfelt sisters summon twin Sabers, two different factors of the same Heroic Spirit, meaning there are eight participants in this Heaven’s Feel.

- The younger Edelfelt sister is “killed”, possibly beaten and captured, by the Tohsaka master, the second sister flees the war, vowing never to have anything to do with Japan again.

- One of the Edelfelt sisters is involved in the final battle, with at least one of their Sabers being one of the last two remaining servants.

- One of the Masters is a puppet-master, who utilises a dwarf Hassan as an Assassin, with the Zabinaya Phantasm to transform a person’s brains into gunpowder.
- Grail appears at the Kotomine Church.

- Majority of the war occurs in Tokyo, not Fuyuki.

- Landmines were used at least once, to completely line a street.

- Less of a Battle Royale and more of a fight for possession of the Lesser Grail, as without it the Greater Grail could not be activated.

- The Lesser Grail, at this point a physical object in the form of a cup, is destroyed during battle, ruining the Ritual.

Taisho and pre-war Showa eras are criminally under-utilized subjects in anime in manga (there's Baseball Girls, Night Raid and one or two anime and manga about Great Kanto Earthquake), so it would be interesting to explore the ideas how to tie the HGW setting into the specific details of the time period.

- As a result of the massive damage and chaos of this war the Church enter Fuyuki near the end of it and work to cover up details of it from the public, using the hastily-consecrated Makiri mansion as an ad hoc base of operations.

- One of the priests there is the 23-year-old Kotomine Risei, who sits in on a meeting between the church and the Mage’s Association in Tokyo. The meeting seems the formation of an actual system of supervision, with Risei assigned to be the supervisor for Heaven’s Feel 4.

I don't believe America was involved at the time. The puppet user provided his memories for his family to use, and they only decided to bring it up with America later.

Should Apoc be taken as canon that Darnic summoned Fionn as Lancer?

Just write whatever the fuck I want. Hell, lets have a black Einzbern family member join in. Gil is forcefully present even when all the servant slot is filled. Add in Raikou too. Fatenigger would eat anything. FGO proves that.

It's just a more complex and cool way to blow someone's head up
But I suppose it could be used in regular assassinations too by just turning their brain to gunpowder without blowing it up

It would be great to get to see a more serious Fionn despite how badly he's been nerfed in favor of Scathach. He's a great servant.

Speaking of which, Minamoto no Yoshitsune (yes, not Ushi) gets mentioned in FGO Material VI (Osakabehime has a comment for her)

Comfy thread

He’s a character in Strange Fake too.

Sigurd’s the super love autist however. So it’s hard to say.

it's his relative

We'll probably never see actual 3rd war so it's unlikely TM will change Fionn to someone else at this point.

>Seiba: Perseus
>Archer:
>Lancer: Ajax
>Rider: Augustus
>Caster: who knows
>Assassin: who knows
>Berserker: Cortez

wew lad

>Archer: The Great Hayk
Literally there so that Ajax is fated to job like every other Lancer.
>Caster: Moses
Everyone is scared of him cuz of 10 Plagues NP. Likely to get ganged up on.
>Assassin: Hassan
Because Fuyuki glitch.

Can Perseus be made to fit the Edelfelt gimmick without total lore rape?

It ain't a glitch, it's a feature

I think he's not necessarily going for a third war roster, but just a war with no FGO servants.

>Perseus
>He doesn't know about Rider from Fate/Prototype

An fgo x Sao collab where there is an ex depth lostbelt in alfheim with Asuna as the villain and Norse gods everywhere.

Shishou is better.

half of fionn's exploits in legend have been given to scathach in fate. hell, scathach is barely a character originally

That may be so. However, Fionn is boring and scathach is not which is the key idea.

Fate battle royal. You and other 99 people start with random servant and one command seal. But your servant is incomplete, by defeating other people you can reveal more and more info about him and gain access to his abilities. Probably guaranteed financial success on west side of the world.

Okay then.
>Proceed to make it as Norse as possible.
>Something something Fate Themes.

You'd need 99 distinct Servants all balanced for that.

Just make 99 saberfaces

>scathach is not
what interesting things has she done exactly

If Apocrypha's anime is canon enough, Lancer was probably Fionne.

Isn't that literally just Fate/Extra?

I think that's the joke.

wild sex with her students. Teacher for CU, that in the legend then he exceeds her by far. I would almost dare to say that Scatha's daughter has a greater role in the myth.

But eh, she's female, so automatically waifu points make her a big deal.

the true duo would reign supreme

Attached: 76229329_p0.jpg (950x940, 203K)

Sounds incredibly boring, really. WW2 and nazis? Yawn. Done to death. Japan in the 30s? Jesus, all the background research you'd have to do to make that shit hole seem credible. Avenger was mostly just annoying in HA, I wouldn't want to write him. Or Kotomine senior. Or Tokiomi's dad. Or Acht. It's like some dull assholes club. The double-Saber thing seems vaguely interesting, but wasted on this unresolved train wreck.

For double Saber, just use Liath Luachra, so they can mess with Fionn. the woman was the foster mothers of Fionn and the male one of his comrades in arms who is then killed by Fionn himself.
Archer: Tomoe Gozen (from the Tohsaka?)
Avenger: faggot
Assassin: Manlet
Rider: Beowulf with a dragon. Summoned by some Nazi mages. He will betray them quickly enough and his dragon will become a wild nuisance even after his death.
Caster: someone suggested Moses, i like that.

I like to think that even the Tohsaka were quite evil in this war.

It has to have loli characters so normies stay away from it. It also has to have some shonenshit design character get beaten/emasculated by said lolis to piss off Yea Forumsermin. And it has to make 4th wall tsukihime/type-moon jokes and how they're boring and without an adaptation for maximum /tmg/ butthurt.

Get that crap outta here.

Attached: 15452341_p0.png (599x660, 425K)

>scatfags

Fate should die already.

but they aren't rinfags

No, they're worse.

Nothing is worse than Rhinofags.

Attached: 1508747179465.jpg (400x650, 34K)

Why do Sakura and Luvia go so well together?

The plebeian obsesses over Nasu while the patrician realizes that Takeuchi is the true genius behind Type Moon

In the Apocrypha timeline she becomes Luvia's adopted sister and wrestling ojou-sama buddy

Attached: OHOHOHOHOHO.gif (300x297, 965K)

Seriously, worse.

Charlemagne is like this in Extella Link.

I doubt the Saber was that strong. It was probably Chevalier d'Eon. It was said that the Fourth and Fifth Wars were unusual for having so many extraordinarily powerful and famous Servants, so the overall tiers of the Third War were probably significantly lower.

both are massive sluts

Here's the roster sans Salome.

-Jason being super-summoned by the Edelfelt sisters allows him to manifest lesser (but still-sentient) versions of his argonauts, flaunting the abilities of Heracles and (young) Medea to the Einzberns and the MA peons in attendance
-Chen Gong plays both sides of the Imperial Army and the Nazis to his advantage, filching them for Prana "sacrifices" so he can revive Lu Bu and Red Hare to overwhelm the opposition
-Paris is driven to prove himself a true hero in this war, but his Master takes advantage of this to have him do increasingly cunning and underhanded tasks. He dies against Gareth, who he sees as his brother in his dying moments, and entrusts his bow to her
-Bart is a straight shooter. As a Heroic Spirit, his seafarer instinct to ascertain when a storm is on the horizon morphs into insight that something HUGE (WW2) is on the horizon and that he must steer Japan away from it. He allies with Corday and Gareth to take the Grail for this purpose, loses his ship to defeat Jason, and makes a last stand at the Lesser Grail before being killed by Red Hare
-Gareth ultimately falls when Chen Gong uses God Force to make Lu Bu to explode after she beat him, but her excellent performance (while not even being one of the topmost of her organisation) inspires a Catalyst arms race for KOTR relics
-Chen Gong is about to get the Grail, but fails to notice Corday has slipped by everyone in the confusion and is aiming Paris' bequeathed crossbow at the Lesser Grail
>Chen Gong, the Nazis, the Imperial Army, and some of the surviving Masters (Corday drugged hers before coming here) try to bribe her into not pulling the trigger. But she smiles and just says:
-"Vive La France."
-and blows it all up

Attached: Neo Bronze 2019 Servants.png (1280x591, 1.39M)

I mean, it literally featured Saber herself. It didn't need a new one. Same with Zero. Saberfaces only became a thing when Fate stories which couldn't just feature Saber started being made. Which this would be.

Why are Galahad or Lancelot the strongest KoTR?
Doesn't Saber have Excalibur and Avalon?

Funny thing, out of all new bronze servants, only Salome can truly be considered "weak". Even Corday could useful in "some" situations.

Don't forget Gawain who can get ridiculous sun buffs and who has Excalibur's sister sword.
>Galahad
He's an Excalibur wielder himself and the perfect holy knight
>Lancelot
French fanfic mary sue and shilled as the most skilled swordsman ever, so that carried over to Fate.
>Doesn't Saber have Excalibur and Avalon?
Excalibur is the strongest (Galatine is probably fairly equal) sword but Artoria isn't the most skilled swordsman of them all.
Avalon makes her nigh unkillable but as a Servant she can't have it, due to her lacking it on her "death" in legend.
Also dragon mana core.

Arondight >>>> Galatine.

Arondight is a divine construct like Excalibur made by fairies and unbreakable

Strange Fake and Requiem?

Why was Lancelot the one considered invincible in his era though?

All the Knights of the Round Table had broken shit.

King Arthur wasn't the strongest or the most skilled, but she was up there. In terms of technique, she's inferior to Lancelot, but not so inferior that she has no chances of winning. Her Mana Burst allows her to even go toe-to-toe with Heracles, so I doubt she'd lose to Gawain so easily. Speaking of which, her technique is most likely superior to Gawain's. Her Mana Burst also made her probably the best when dealing with entire armies, as she can plow through the battlefield like a hurricane, knocking enemy soldiers away like nothing, and Invisible Air probably helped immensely with that as well. Her Dragon Factor grants her unparalleled mana output, enough to use Excalibur up to twice in a single battle, possibly more. Out of all the Knights of the Round Table, Saber was like a raging missile who blew everything the fuck up.

Gawain had unparalleled strength and endurance, and Numeral of the Strength tripled his already absurd stats. Undeniably, he was the "strongest" as far as brute strength went. I doubt there's anyone in the Round Table who can beat him in an arm wrestling match, even without the sun's blessing. Galatine, compared to Excalibur, is probably more suited for taking down armies since it attacks in a wide arc.

Lancelot was the most skilled in terms of martial prowess, and this skill is what made him the greatest Knight of the Round Table. His technique is great enough that he can hold off Gawain even powered by the sun until the sun went down, allowing him to take Gawain down. He doesn't have anything like Mana Burst so I doubt he can destroy entire armies as quickly as Saber could, but he won't lose to anyone in a straight fight. Probably.

Even the weaker dudes like Kay could do some crazy shit

Attached: Sir_Kay_001.png (257x492, 290K)

Well the weakest one was Bedivere. He was an excellent knight, but only when compared to other, normal knights. He wasn't a monster like the other members of the Round Table. Saber chose him because she valued his support and counsel.

Arondight stat boosts > mana burst

Arondight doesn't turn Lancelot into a human typhoon.

Nasu is a woman though

>Ruler Artoria with both Rhongomyniad and Excalibur when?

Arondight Overload is anti army.
What's this headcanon that Lancelot was only good in 1v1?
He was objectively the best knight and would've singlehandedly changed the outcome of Moshit's rebellion according Gawain

tldr premise brah, I'd just have it be a SoL about Liz trying to become the greatest idol ever

Attached: 1520493973799.jpg (850x604, 140K)

Also pic related.

Attached: 1553641105285.jpg (1001x454, 194K)

No one ever said that he wouldn't be able to beat an army. He just wouldn't be able to beat one as fast as Saber can. Invisible Air, Mana Burst and Excalibur are all pretty much designed to take out entire armies at once. If anything, using them against a single opponent is kind of overkill.

If they were so strong then why was their kingdom destroyed?

Saber and Gawain were away on an expedition at the time. Gawain wouldn't let Lancelot get involved in the battle. Agravain, Galahad, Percival and Gareth were already dead. Mordred was the one who instigated the rebellion in the first place.

Mordred basically struck when Camelot was at its weakest and most vulnerable.

Only diverge point for Apocrypha is Amakusa summoned instead of Angra, so rest should be same. Fionne summoned by Darnic.
