I've watched anime off and on my whole childhood without knowing it (pokemon,DBZ, Evangelion) and occasionally started watching anime DVDs I would sneak from barns n Nobel and the library unbeknownst to others. By the time I hit 16 I stopped watching it completely because of the social stigma accompanied by it and now that I'm 25, and the entire fucking world is enjoying something I got teased over just 10 years ago and even my fucking girlfriend is a huge weeb I'm trying to get back into anime.

I have a suspicion mods always leave these threads up for a while. Once everybody has had their fun, they are deleted to not pollute the catalog. Unless it has no replies for a while, I rarely see threads deleted instantly.
