I was honestly disappointed nobody, not even Tsubasa, called out Hibiki's shit on trying to befriend these people. They're by far the absolute worst villains in terms of killcount.
To put it in perspective, Saint-Germain counted some 70k "sins" as her burden at the end of last season, of which only 30k were actual deaths, and she'd been alive for over 2000 years and hated herself for what she'd done.
In a single evening, vamp and her fellow cunts nearly tripled a 2000 year kill streak and showed no remorse, then traumatized Tsubasa on top.

You can't write your conflict around catchlines being repeated over and over. It was just Chris saying "ME SENPAI" while shooting everything like a retard, and when they say "yeah YOU SENPAI" she starts working with her teammates instead of shooting them.
Now compare this to her arc in G where she has to deal with her guilt and her sense of belonging. Now that's organic growth that happens slowly in the background over the course of the entire season. Not "we need to fill this week's episode".

What can you do? Fake her death? She was one of 2 girls that could deal with the attacks and thats what they did.
I'm probably wrong but Tsubasa probably wasn't really loved at first because of what happened and Gen was 100% more there for her than her parents but in the end her dad wanted that dense little girl to grow up happy because you can't hate someone like that it was never her fault.
For a "stupid" show it really is fucked up and complicated.

When you see them train Tsubasa doesn't even break a sweat and Hibiki does her best while Chris almost dies, those moments show you that they aren't strangers but i guess it's fucky with her being his sister niece but i don't even think thats the case they still love her but it's too professional.

Everyone either pushes it off to someone else or keeps her at arms length. Genjuro hugged a rabid Kanade and a Chris who was every bit as standoffish. Of course she's gonna close off to people if people don't reach out to her.

I know and i agree with that.
But that's one of the problems the show has and it's the lack of time and downtime in general to show anything, Dess and Tsubasa never really spoke just how Miku really didn't talk to anyone but they all know her and hang out together.
They should've shown the girls anxious or wanting to talk to her but they were afraid to push her away more or something ON SCREEN then it wouldn't seem like they don't even consider her feelings as all

It wasn't as huge an issue in the earlier seasons but by S5 it's actually starting to feel like an almost immersion breaking big deal. They should all be better than this.
