Yes. It's actually good. The story is extremely simple, there's not much to spoil. The experience, however, is unique.

It's free and short the only thing you will lose is 7-9 hours. If you don't enjoy it after the first hour or so I guess you could drop it.

In cases like these I believe your expectations for the game were on the end half of the story. I understand that the preparation part might get frustrating and instead of reading more to the character side you end up just wondering when the hot stuff pops out. This is unfortunate with titles that get more popular and hyped for aspects that are not necessarily giving a balanced idea of the whole game.

But even the end half partly fell flat in my opinion. Same with Umineko, certain arcs like the one with Claire were largely terrible and unnecessary.
