Yeah the ending was rushed but other than that the anime is pretty fucking good

Wish they'd had a better budget to work with, honestly. The fights could've been better.
Also make the aesthetic a bit darker.

I saw videos on the first 5 episodes and it was pretty kino and dark, so the animation gets worse? Still looked like the Berserk anime we'll never get

Yeah, honestly. Even the "filler" episodes like the Ohagi and Okawa ones were good and wholesome.

Personally, I would've been fully satisfied with the ending if there had been a hint about Tahomaru surviving and having a new life making the land great. I understand Jukai and Nui dying, but Tahomaru? Hyakki didn't even get to see his face when he got his eyes back (Taho was face down in the background).

I'd say the animation does suffer. There's inconsistencies, but apparently it wasn't budget. It was because the dude that worked of TTLG episode 4 (infamous one) directed one episode and some tidbits of others.

One of the best anime to come out this year, it was pretty great while it lasted.

A big disappointment, literally the ONLY thing it needed was to be visually stunning to leave a strong impression on the public, but that happened just for like the 5% of the entire series, and for such a big project, I just can't believe it, but oh well, it was an ok show at the end.

I'm still salty MAPPA didn't give us a Dororo and Hyakkimaru goodbye/reunion scene. They had one scene together the last episode ffs
