Interestingly both franchises movie series so thoroughly torpedoed the themes and ideas the TV series seemed to be going for and were clearly just a response to the things people talked the most about after the shows had finished airing that I don't know what either franchise is even supposed to be going for or even about anymore.
Now one of them is apparently a soulless cash grab mobile title which doesn't surprise me.
Madoka movie is better than the TV series though?
I don't know, I prefer the one with the actual steady pacing and proper coherent ending myself. Well as coherent as Madoka could be, which was still a bit of a problem even with the TV series.
