People on Yea Forums are too underage to remember this series.

People who remember this series are barely in their 20's

People in their 20s weren't even in kindergarten when it came out.

Bitch ass nigga I'm 20 and watch the shit out of this series.

22 here. This was my midnight show.

I'm 29 and I watched it 3 years ago.
The ED is so simple yet so beautiful.

youtube.com/watch?v=fg83rfIJW6Y

Heaven's not enough!

Why did they all die? WHat kind of ending is that

A artistic one.

NO REGRET'S CAUSE I'VE GOT NOTHING TO LOSE

Shit series, waste of time.

SOMETHING IS PULLING ME
I FEEL THE GRAVITY
OF IT ALL

Great soundtrack in mediocre series

I really liked it at first but after Cheza joined the wolves it kind of went to shit.

I don't hate Cheza, but I hate it when characters talk about themselves in the 3rd person

Good ending.

IT'S ALWAAAAAAAAAAAYS BEEN SO HAAAAAAAAAARD TO DOOOOOOOO

>Everything was fucking perfect.
>The last 4 episodes happened.

Always felt like this would have been the perfect setting for a final fantasy game

I think that they all get resurrected but don't remember a thing nor each other is even more of a gut punch

First time I watched it I was in highschool, then I rewatched it years later while doing my internship
youtube.com/watch?v=FDqxY2gIcPI

most of the people who worked on this also worked on cowboy bebop right?
Blue was one of my first anime crushes

Attached: feelingblue.jpg (310x233, 13K)

underrated solid soundtrack

STILL MAD ABOUT THE UNRELEASED SONGS. GOTTA LISTEN TO SOME SHITTY YOUTUBE WITH VOICES OVER IT EVERY TIME.

This anime was unironically kino

Show could have been better but I still love it and enjoy rewatching it to see if there any more subtle stuff about the show I missed the first time.

They go to heaven.

maybe this time tomorrow~

It was no longer a world that had a place for them.

I think the whole show is about the hindu belief of cycles and the world endlessly ending and being reborn. Paradise can never truly be achieved since evil always persists so I guess the whole journey to reach it is kind of anti climactic in a way.

A Wolf's Rain thread?! Finally, I haven't seen one in months

Cher! Cheeeerrrr!

My biggest gripe with this anime was we only got one episode of wolves vs Russian robots

SIT

>toboe wasn't a girl

Attached: Are you squidding me you privileged white whale.png (612x496, 132K)

Supremely underrated show
youtube.com/watch?v=rF8uBr_P2fQ

Toboe ruined everything by putting himself in the way of a bullet aimed at the main villain to protect a guy only for the guy he's trying to protect dies like a minute later anyways.

Toboe is a bad dog.

Classic Bones was some good shit. What a great opening.
>I'M HERE STANDING ON THE EDGE

I still don't give a shit about most anime, but Wolfs Rain solidified my opinion that I should at least give the ones with good soundtracks a shot

I gave up on this show after one or two episodes because all the characters acted kind of gay towards each other and I thought it was a BL show lol

Fuck wolfsrain and fuck gay shit lmao

how is a wolf driving?
I never understood their human forms. Can they just deceive people into thinking they look like real people? Or do the wolves actually have the ability to shift into human forms?

Toboe is dumb as hell. Didn't he kill an old lady?

Wolf's rain always scared me as a kid for some reason

one of the stupidest anime I've ever seen
what a waste of budget

tfw too young to remember it but old enough to remember that one AMV

just don't think about it
the whole thing is fucking stupid

HERE I AM
DIRTY AND FACELESS

Cutest good boy

Attached: 84251.jpg (225x350, 29K)

yeah I figured. I mean I really fuckin loved the show when I was 12. But I was also 12, so I've never felt like rewatching it and ruining the magic of the memory

I just liked him because this aired a while after Digimon Adventure 02 finished airing iirc, and I really liked hearing Mona Marshall on another anime show

The lyrics to "Gravity" were beautiful.

It's been so long since I've seen this.

All I remember is there are women wolves. They can look like people. They need to get to some place. So they can go to another place.

The way they drew noses in this pissed me off.

Cute boy, but his taste in men sucks.

It is then the Beast shall appear.

Attached: Darcia-wolfs-rain-4180547-500-375.jpg (500x375, 64K)

Just think, if it were released today, it would become the yaoi shippers' next big thing.
Would it be worth it?

It's a post-apocalyptic setting where everyone dies slowly and painfully, so yeah, I'd say your kid instincts were on point.

IN THE COLD BREEZE
THAT I WALK ALONE

>mfw The villain actually won to repeat the cycle of rebirth with his taint

Attached: 1499389264835.png (670x503, 339K)

Hardly remember what hapened here, last time i watched was what? 12 years ago?

youtube.com/watch?v=cYDox4mHx8Y
I always remember by it's good ost.

The world is ending and whomever manages to make it to the goal has the ability to reshape the world as they see fit. The main cast struggles to beat Darcia to the finish line. It's revealed right before Darcia finishes that the perfect Utopia that Darcia wants to create will never happen because he carries a corruption. The show ends with the world reset into a new world, but also revealing that Darcia's corruption is doing what it does to slowly end the world again. Now slam some philosophy around paradise not being obtainable, but worth fighting for.

Oh thanks user, i kinda remember the strange ending and everyone dying.
well time to rewatch, since this season is quite boring.

Well shit, that's kind of lackluster. I lost interest in this like 80% of the way through, now I'm glad I never picked it back up.

HEY I BROUGHT YOUR BIRD

Save yourself thr trouble and just listen to the OST.

Darcia was a good character. His motivations were better than Kiba's gang, I can't even remember what Kiba wanted from paradise.

when anime was good

true manime

assuming someone was 10 when they watched wolf's rain, they would now be 24.
that's a bit beyond barely user

Was it aliens?

I'm 28 and I remember this quite vividly.

>they

I remember watching this late at night and also being scared to watch witch Hunter Robin when it aired. Just bought witch Hunter to watch. Bought strayyyy 4 years ago to relive the memories.

kizoku, the nobles, were aliens
the original inhabitants of the planet were the wolves
maybe

Kiba was driven by pure instinct since he was the chosen one

Was Cheza blind?

Why are you using spoilers for a 20 years old series no one remember?

Anyway, it saddens me a series like this wouldn't get made today.

>muh rakuen
I still wonder why people praised it so much.

Blue was great. I wish most of Cheza's screentime went to her instead, Cheza was useless.

Only watched this because of the OP but the show itself was shit.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOA
STRAAAAAAAAAAAYAAAAYAAY
NO REGRETS CUZ I'VE GOT NOTHIN TO LOOSE

they can't shift into human forms and if you re-watch it, you'll notice that the show was mostly consistent in that. They never manipulated anything that couldn't be held with their jaws.

been a long road to follow

That owl was the weirdest part. Literally what did it mean? And I remember it reapparing at the end as if it has meaning outside of its self-contained filler episode

Is there a story why they had like 4 recap episodes? That must be some deep pit of production hell.

Been there and gone tomorrow

Such a comfy show

Was Darker than Black basically a re-imagining of this?

It was hype and boring.

HEAVENS NOT ENOUGH
IF WHEN IM THERE I DONT REMEMBER YOUUUU

Attached: 1535755611509.gif (500x578, 940K)

>haha bro you need to have watched it when it aired
What's with you imbeciles? Do you understand how the internet functions?

26 and it was my favorite anime in hs

Dude i am 21 and i watched when i was like fucking 18,fucking retard.

This show was pure fucking kino.

Why was Kiba the only wolf whose human form looked nothing like their wolf form?

Which one?

Attached: 1555017795815.gif (900x500, 274K)

one of the wolves is literally driving a car in the clip I replied to. do they sit like people in their wolf forms too?

the ending still gives me the depression.

I was 16 when this came out.

You will never see wolves this well drawed again-

Attached: 155c105d7f00b098746339661593.gif (500x375, 1.75M)

I remember the owl being creepy in such an interesting way ,but I don't remember much of anything else about it and I can't find any videos with it on youtube ,what episode was it?

did you go to school for that english degree?

Good to see I'm not the only one who thinks so.

Because he's the only one without some scar or man made decoration on him

the owl is the reincarnation of darcia 2nd or 1st or something
his punishment for attempting to brute force paradise

Because Kiba hated it, he only took a shameful human form for survival at first, he was proud to be and look like a wolf, so his human form is more of an afterthought, he slowly warms of to it but he'll always preffer to be a wolf over a nasty human

Shit series.

The show comes full circle with the OP strongly hinted at being this new, tainted world.

Attached: hqdefault (1).jpg (480x360, 18K)

nah it's good. and i had only heard of this show with this thread. i'm up to episode 4 and its what the newfags would call "kino"

Attached: bear drink.webm (1280x720, 1.74M)

I vaguely remember watching an episode or 2 on tv, I think toomani, and thinking it was super melodramatic and gay lol

Wasn't on toonami. Late night adult swim anime. One of their first with witch hunter robin

You know you can watch something after it came out, right?

Was witch hunter Robin any good?

Slow.
youtube.com/watch?v=rK8Xr7wyRIg

What the fuck was his problem?

Yes.

Attached: Witch Hunter Robin - 02.avi_snapshot_02.21_[2019.02.27_00.07.06].jpg (640x480, 13K)

His waifu.

Attached: 07-05.jpg (450x338, 28K)

Just started it so I don't know yet

>tfw you will never see another anime waifu drawn as beautifully with such care
it hurts

Oh shit I have to finish it now, 20 years later.

Who was the moon girl anyways?

Hahahaha

Hahaha

Ha.

I loved this show when I was younger for some reason, I remember drawing toboe for an art assignment in 7th grade

I beleive it was a little something known as the SARS (virus) SCARE

what is it?

I mean that wasn't what he wanted, he just wanted a paradise on earth + his dead gf to get resurrected.

Though I think in the end he was just kind of insane because of the curse anyway.

And as it is, the running thing with the show was that even if they never get to paradise, they can't stop running to it and trying to achieve it, and someday, however long that may take, they'll get it.

I had a crush on him.

Everytime I tried to talk about it on Yea Forums I got shit on. What's different now

how many days has this thread been up or recreated

This show blew my mind when I was younger. I was positive the police guy and scientist woman would be like the Adam and Eve of the new world. Couldn't believe it when that depressing ending hit
