What's your favourite villain type?
What's your favourite villain type?
Bloody Incomprehensible Traumatized Anti-Villain Beasts
>Griffith
>anti-villain
>entire motivation is personal power and greed and will spend however many lives it takes to get there
Fuck off, !hawk
It's not really an anti-villain if they don't feel uncomfortable with being villainous. Griffith is not villainous until he chooses to be so, and he never regrets a thing.
Kashima is not traumatized. He does not retaliate for things done to him. He's bored because the system can't deal with him and he's psychopathic genius that sees nothing wrong with dealing with boredom by murdering people.
Kyubey is obeying his nature. His quest is 100% intellectual in nature. He's saving the universe from a threat so distant that he personally is not threatened by it - in fact, many Kyubeys die over the course of the anime and not a single Kyubey gives a fuck about that.
> Reluctant
> Hamdo
> First scene is him literally strangling a cat for fun
Yeah, no. His motives might be blurred between actually ruling and bringing peace across the land and actual desire to abuse his power, he has far too many "evil" moments to be called reluctant.
>villains whose motives are hard to find fault in and arguably better than the hero's
>muh dream muh kingdom
Incomprehensible ones.
Kira is obviously just obeying his nature.
This one
Definitely the Anti Villain.
The fuck? How is that retard from Here and There, Now and Then in the "Professionals" section? He's very firmly in "incomprehensible" territory. Placing Kyubey in "Beasts" is also highly debatable.
The Best Girl:
Villains who just wants the hero
Does not care if the world burns
the most anti villain
Griffith isn't really a villain. The villain is the dark ones that forced Griffith into accepting the eclipse. Griffith honestly doesn't want anything but his kingdom and helping the people.
So, beasts.
Where would Johan fit?
The beasts?
That one is pretty clearly a professional. He was forced to play a role in what was just a war of survival between humans and ants.
Borderline between Traumatized Children and Beast.
Hmm, so which one is it
This new chart sucks because Beast and Professional are almost the exact same thing.
What type Sakyo is?
A professional is not a villain anyway. If you take a paycheck to do your work, you are not the mastermind behind your actions.
And beasts are not villains because villainy is about humans doing bad things.
I've never cared much for villains.
>Hamdo
>professionals
>because of the situation he finds himself in
Fucker is in said bad situation BECAUSE of the shit he does by choice. He's much more a bloody knight
>many Kyubeys die over the course of the anime and not a single Kyubey gives a fuck about that
They most likely operate as a collective consciousness.
Not sure what category he belongs in.
cock starved, batshit insane loli is my favourite type of villain
>bloody knights
>Kira
What's wrong with wanting to live a peaceful life?
>reluctant or morally detached
>OR MORALLY DETACHED
Come back when you gain some reading comprehension.
Who's the guy next to Kira in the Bloody Knights tier?
Berg Katze
He got shitposted all over Yea Forums for years. I'm surprised you didn't notice.
The OP chart was bait and you all should know that by now.
That being said I will always be a sucker for the incomprehensible and the bloody. Complexity can be nice and in the same breath someone so base is a breath of fresh air.
Thanks.
he kills people for fun
In which category would Cell fall under?
The perfect villain
The perfect answer.
>Kaiki
>situation he finds himself in
He's just a greedy bastard you dumbfuck.
pure evil in a sense, adding complexity is just like philosophy. you cant justify or moralize the world it just is. people cant accept that fact and try to add labels as if that'll change reality.
>kira
>derive pleasure from their evil deeds
Watch/read slower.
This Professional Beast, and his entire invasion force, together comprise the best villain I've ever seen.
Well-written ones
Yes I shall now set my video player to 0.75 speed
hxhfags need everything spoonfed to them
The cunning
I like this image a lot
kyubey is an anti-villain, only retards think that it is a villain, the life of a few girls is nothing if you compare it with the existence of the universe and all the life that live in the vast universe.
Griffith is a bloody knight that shield himself in doing the right thing, but he only lust for power and admiration.
>kyubey is an anti-villain, only retards think that it is a villain
Anti-villains are villains. The "anti" just describes a special subgroup of villain. That's why the anti villain is on the villain chart.
You just called yourself a retard.
Griffith did nothing right
Garou is my favorite hero-villain.
Villainess Noble Girls and Bitchy Heroines.
pastebin.com/NJPxsRZ4
>I was hungry
Best motivation. Prove me wrong.
Read liar game and thank me later
>Squealer
>Villain
Way to miss the point of a story user. Good job.
you're retarded
Where is Major? The best villian in all of anime
Anti-Villains
I don't even know which one he's supposed to be.
>evil deeds
>Only kills entitled, scantily dressed women that behave like whores
He's doing society a favor while gratifying his own fingernail clipping fetish. It's a win-win. If anything what he's doing is strict moral good.
Kira is the mix of The Beasts and The Bloody Knights
what kind of villain is Kano from Texhnolyze?
The Traumatized Children
Did he have any goal in mind after he got Jesus other than "Make America Great Again"?
I LOVE HARIME NUI!
Didn't he want a kid from Lucy?
>What's your favourite villain type?
the Ains Ooal Gown type.
His wife was just off'd and he was on the market. She just happened to be in the room.
The Asheladd type
hxh not even once
Which one would he be, lads?
Big hammy ones that yell and laugh a lot.
OP's list is from a universally accepted Tier List about villain motivations: it can be respectively seen from Top-to-Bottom as "Elder-God Tier" to "Shit Tier". Also the bottom is just a euphemism for "Evil for the sake of evil: just because."
>a sigh
I assume that would be a shockwave.
But there should be no air where that moon is. So the wave would have no way of getting there. Besides, waves don't have such beam-like qualities. It would spread out and hit more than just a tiny speck of the moon.
So, a beam attack maybe?
But what would happen to the rest of the moon if a such a large chunk of it was vaporized?
ftfy
bloody knights no question
>universally accepted Tier List about villain motivations:
>accepted
Fuck off. It’s a bloody stupid tier list and anyone who ranks villains purely based on their motivations are retarded.
Incomprehensible and inherently evil villains are better than "muh complex and actually the good guy" villains
Didn't they original villain type chart have ratings already built in?
But those ratings are fucking stupid, OP's is better with it avoiding making any quality evaluations.
This. I hate this fucking chart
Is there chart for (anti-)heroes?
>aiko
???
The Bloody Knights
Agreed. These tiered charts are fucking retarded.
I used to like the anti villains the most but as I get older I'm preferring the professional. Feels the most relatable in a way.
don't forget raping Casca retarded in front of Guts out of pure spite
Hero category. most based
The ones that don't fit in cookie cutter villain chart.
Wouldn't Kyubey be a professional?
You misspelled universally retarded.
What category would fit for someone who does atrocities for his loved ones?
Beasts are good.
Traumatized Children is also a good group. It’s done really poorly a lot of the time, but when it’s done well, like the two pictured, it really stands out. I also like when they transform to Incomprehensible Ones.
>villain just wants to fap
Which category would it be?
A hybrid of professional and anti-villain.
is kaiki really a villian? because in koi he basically saves araragi from death
Also a traumatized child who is no better by the methods used.
Are you telling me that you wouldn't?
Villains who win and doesn't job.
How's bone an anti-villian or professional? There's zero reluctance about doing bad shit and it's easy to find fault with his motive of "I want to find out how to get to the bottom of this big hole." He doesn't really fit into this chart, but if I had to choose one, it'd be the beasts.
Because he does what he does to study an incredibly important phenomenon which can fundamentally alter the world, or even destroy it. Stakes are very high, and he does his task very professionally (unit-731-tier professionally, but still.)
By the way, Nanachi is already mentioned in . And Ozen and Lyza may also well fit on various levels, depending on more context.
It wasn't a "sigh", it was an actual intended attack made out of frustration. She wants to still baby him despite being coming-of-age and wanting independence to pursue his dreams. If she admits that wasn't accidentally, than it helps prove she's being irrationally clingy and in the wrong.
Hate all you want, but you know its true. The best of best villains are the ones where you can emphasize with ("There but by the grace of God goes I") and possibly be convinced their actions are just.
Being evil cause "I'M EVIL" is boring.
He wasn't even a villain in the end tho.
We call those types "heroes".
Anti-Villians like pic related.
In order to beat the god hand Gutz needed to get his ass handed to him.
He wants to save his land but he knows that he's a viking, unworthy of the throne
anti villains
the beasts
bloody knights are the worst
Not really. The best villains are the ones that work well with the framework of the story. See for example something like Freak Island, were the villains are a bunch of nutjobs but the story wouldn't work(and be as entertaining) if they were more justified in their goals.
Traumatized Child / Anti-Villain hybrid?
He was to good for this shitshow !!
Name one (1) villain who doesn't work well with the framework of the story.
Nui was hot.
What about a villain who is motivated by bloodlust AND survival AND retaliation against injustice AND has flawless reasoning behind their actions?
>kira
>griffith
>nui
What kind of retard came up with these examples
No clue
imma cuck for psycho pass b/c that show was fucking great and the villain was actually clever but hxh also has great villains
More like forced OP villain that became a generic "Muh tragic ommicidal maniac" and was "beaten" in the most anticlimatic way i've ever seen since Shaman King manga. Fuck, how did Re: Creators go so downhill during the Elimination Chamber Arc?
a based one
>Hamdo
>Professional
He was a manchild constantly whining ABELIAAAA when things went wrong. His evil acts were simply because he desired power despite being incompetent and was only able to do such things because for some fucking reason he has an army that thinks he's a good leader to follow. Literally the least compelling villain in history.
competent ones
You seem angry and frustrated, you should watch some SoL shows.
Bloody Knights and Professionals
His just a retard who created his moral system as a literal child and hasn't grown up, his position aren't in anyway justified, his just bad because his a contrarian retard.
Lowest of the low tier in terms of villainy.
His still a fun character because of the things he does though. His character motivations are shit.
I agree the Good bad shit is dumb, but holy fuck is this image hilarious.
We can let the "this is a good criminal and this is a bad one", hang just for this on.
Frustrated? Meh, i have to admit i used to be over how the anime went downhill, but meh, screwing up a show's plot is something that doesn't surprise me anymore
Can somebody tell me what animes those are? I have seen Beserk, Jojo, and Ima, Soko ni Iru Boku. But I have no idea what the other ones are, and they all look very interesting.
The one that doesn't seem to be like one.
How is Aiko even a villain? Did I miss something?
You'd think HxH would just be a novel with the amount of writing in those speech bubbles
Nui isn’t even a main villain Ragyo is, and her motives are only hard to understand because the plot was retarded.
Freak Island sucks, I dropped it recently. The villains are low-tier.
Post bishie Cell
BKs. I don't care about your monologues or highschool-level philosophy, just give me active, externally motivated heroes who don't feel guilty about protecting their own lives.
He's such a fucking Hoe, I love it.
I wonder where Sato would go. He's not insane since we've seen how much of a genius he is and he isn't evil just to be evil. He just does stuff for the lolz
He slaughtered animals as a kid and made operations harder for fun even before he knew about immortality. He's plain insane
Being a sociopath and being insane like in OP pic related aren't the same.
Genius and insanity are not mutually exclusive. I am not calling him insane though. He knows what he wants and he is capable of understanding the effects of his actions.
He's insane. Geniuses can be insane
he's not
I don't know what "type" he is, but DIO in Stardust Crusaders. My all time favourite villain
bottom half needs to be cut
The best type, of course.
Based. 2-0 against Bat.
There are story reasons involving a certain ass-shaped relic. He's not himself.
>French weebs manage to make one of the best villains of modern time
based
