God I wish she'd look at me like that. Also new chapter out wherein Laius thinks hard about what Marcille once said and maybe starts connecting the dots about her motives.
mangadex.org
Dungeon meshi
I want farlyn to comfort me with her floofiness.
More Marcille doujins when?
I need em
Wait what, this came out early didn't it? Thanks OP
Marcille was extra cute this chapter.
Marci is always extra-cute
That’s because we saw her from Laura perspective, I’m not a shipfag but damn is this shit blunt. I hope they have 2 kids.
Why is Marcille so evil and a whore?
Damn autocorrect.
Lauis* not laura
I fucking love that manga.
My boy is smitten
How long until marcille falls for him?
The doujinshis where right, there is something on between these two
Stop trying to force this.
Honestly I still don't see how Laius and Marcille are supposed to get together. Sorry, not getting on this ship.
>died 2 years ago for the first time
>lol nevermind it was actually less than a year ago
Whelp that's a retcon.
Kui-sensei actually traces this back somehow, so it is all good I guess.
Is Marcille's face getting rounder?
she's fat
Progressive brian damage from eating monsters.
Laius can be charming if he hides his powerlevel, once you actually get to know him your opinion of him plummets.
I wouldn't argue that it's going to happen yet since the only explicitly romantic scene between them was when Marcille expected a compliment, but even then you could say that she was already flustered beforehand.
This chapter felt like it could be setting a foundation for a future relationship though.
He's extremely competent if you look at his feats individually. He just dumped CHA.
It is impressive how he keeps a cool head even on the verge of death.
This chapter is just to show that Marcille is seeing him as a bit more than a drooling lunatic, she doesn't want to fuck him.
The lad is still handsome even on the brink of death.
Instead she sees him as a piece of shit that took her friend away.
He's not going to be that interested in her anyway, she doesn't even have fur.
Never since she's a lesbo.
Preemptive post against the user(s) who argue that Marcille visibly aged from the time she spent in the academy. It's just a change in Kui's art style.
bonding with her future brother-in-law
Anyone notice Marcille looks a little different from before? It’s almost like she’s a half-elf
And he already knows how many nipples she has
>ogre Marcille
aw fuck
There are still things to investigate about her nipples beyond just how many there are, but there are less unknowns with elves.
this is literally right before she leaves the academy though
It's been a year since the inclusion of Marcille + time spent on looking for Farlyn.
It seems like Marcille is set up to be to Laius what Thistle was to Derghal. Probably not romantic.
It's been well established that elves have poor sense of time.
Marcille's age reveal was deliberately avoided in this chapter. I'm not surprise if it's later revealed that she isn't as old as they thought her to be.
>It's been well established that elves have poor sense of time.
So you're saying Farlyn was right when she said it's been 3 years and Marcille was wrong for saying it was 4? Is that what you're saying?
>I'm not surprise if it's later revealed that she isn't as old as they thought her to be.
Drop this half elf shit now.
You anons are like fucking women, theorizing about couples and romance like this is a daytime soap opera. This is why shipfags ruin most threads. No one can talk about Bleach anymore without harping on who fucked who. No one can talk about Naruto without harping on who fucked who. It's fucking tiresome.
I want more elven shennanigans. The plot was actually interesting with them around
It's more likely to be her father that was a half-elf.
>It seems like Marcille is set up to be to Laius what Thistle was to Derghal.
You mean Farlyn, since Marcille is the one who's scared of her dying.
Until Marcille interacts with another elf who can actually judge her age at a glance (excluding the Mad Sorcerer who is much more long-lived than others elves and probably doesn't really care to voice his opinion), this question will stay on the table.
But I look forward to see how you'll melt down when it's confirmed she's a half-breed and how you'll pretend there was no foreshadowing.
Why are you quoting posts that agree with you?
It's either that, or watch Yea Forums embarrass itself as it tries to intellectually discuss the properties of dungeons. I prefer the shipping to be honest.
Anyone else see a resemblance between the elven captain and One from Drakengard?
well this chapter is great, and her goal of finding a way to cheat death is pretty scary
have our mandatory Marcille bullying too
So you would rather watch Yea Forums embarrass itself as it tries to intellectually discuss romance which two thirds have never actually had in real life?
It's a great goal. Some of what's required to cheat death might end up being scary.
>intellectually discuss romance
No, I said shipping, you buffoon. I've been in Kaguya threads. I've seen Yea Forums try to discuss romance similar to real life. Nobody should ever want that.
>intellectually discuss purely fantastical element of the story
lmoa
>You anons are like fucking women
the author is a woman fucktard. nobody reads this series for the action. it's a character piece.
>why are you talking about character relationships in a chapter that's entirely about character relationships
Laius is right, Marcille's smile is beautiful.
t. woman in mans body
There is discussing the characters histories and motivations, and there is fixating solely on the romantic element which is hinted at, at best in this story. The latter is what a majority of faggots like you and others latch on to. It's like you people don't care about any of the other wildly more interesting aspects of the story and character development than "who is fucking who". It's annoying and shits up otherwise decent threads.
>t. Speedreader
How old is Marcille then ?
The discussion thus far hasn't shit up anything yet. It's the leak thread that was bad.
At least a couple of decades
Probably very young, 40 at most. Might even be actually 20
I think she's half elvish, 50 years old maybe.
>It's the leak thread that was bad.
That's why I'm calling it out. I want to be able to discuss Laius and Marcielle and the rest of the cast without retards here clamoring over the one element that has barely shown up in the story thus far, even with the author being a woman.
>half elvish
nice headcanon
>a researcher
>has decades under her belt (which are reserved for at least 20-30 years in normal days speak)
providing that she's elven 16-18 (if shes an elf genius, which i doubt) to be a researcher, which can be 50+ human years in common iteration, shes at least 80
I think it will actually be the opposite and she’s really like 2000 years old. Which is why she gets so embarrassed when anyone asks
That Chilchak's reaction it's just wonderful.
Doubt it, she stated than 500 years is very old for an elf nowadays. And if she was that old she'd be a lot more powerful or at least would know a lot more spells.
>nobody reads this series for the action.
>nice headcanon
It definitely hasn't been confirmed yet, but there is a reason for
>her not living among other elves, instead being born in human territory
>her not working with other elves
>her ears being quite a bit rounder than the other elves we've seen
>her age being a purposeful mystery
>fear of those around her aging
Laius guesses around 100 and she doesn't correct him. He's generally fairly perceptive and knowledgeable about fantasy biology and since Marcille doesn't really react to it, which she would if he was wildly off, that's probably pretty safe to go by provided she isn't actively hiding it for some reason.
She is born on the island because the island was once inhabited by elves. This is really not any evidence at all. Her entire backstory revolves around out-living non-elves. It makes no sense to take that from her by making her a half-elf.
She froze up the instant he asked for her age and made a point of not confirming his guess.
It's shady
and around 100 is enough to start freaking out about people dying around you
like, you can see at least a gramp, then the parents passing and its still normal. when the children are passing of old ages, things start to get freaky, and when the children's children start to pass too, it would be a nightmare to witness
people arent armed to see that many generations gone b4 their eyes, elves or not
Adding onto that, this chapter is probably the biggest nail in the half elf theory, since if Marcille were a half elf, Laius obviously would have taken that into consideration when calculating her age. That he didn't would mean she's been hiding it not only the whole time she's been with Laius, but during all the time anyone's known her and no one in laius' group or the academy noticed she looked different from other elves. A massive difference from it just not being commented on directly in the moments we've observed.
Does anyone have any of Kuis art in a zip/rar? Ive somehow deleted my old archive with stuff that was eventually deleted from the tumblr and stuff from her old website, I cant believe I forgot to back it up.
It was an odd question to ask right at that moment, and girls in general REALLY don't like being asked their age.
>kills Laius x Marcille last chapter
>fucking brings it back this chapter
KUIIIIIIIIIIIIIII STOP DOING THIS
He saved her from a nightmare as dog. Girls want to fuck their dogs. It's 2+2
Could the half-elf-fags please shut about their theory for one thread until you get some good evidence? It's getting obnoxious and pointless.
i dont git it tho
What killed it last chapter? The only thing I can tell it killed was marcille x farlyn with the relationship diagram by flat out stating they just thought of each other as friends. Laius and Marcille's relationship seemed rather purposefully not shown.
Bro you just posted cringe
I think it's because her assumed current age is more than double his expected life span.
The action is top notch, but Meshi is special because its worldbuilding and characters.
Not saying you're wrong, but elves seem to be pretty rare.
they are plentiful enough for a 6-7 men criminal squad. they just keep to themselves
Marcille, for some reason, grew up on a now-abandoned elven island with non-elves
>close eyed Farlyn
Cute!
>Farlyn with her eyes open
CUTE!!!
What I was trying to say is that the regular Joe (or adventurer) does not get to meet many elves to compare Marcille to.
A big chunk of Yea Forums nowadays are womans tough
>source: dude trust me
We're all little girls.
I'll rather have half-elf shenanigans than /u/-faggotry like in the last thread.
Not me tough
Also , what i said its kinda true to be quite honest, i had meeted some people, and the few non trannys womans i had meet all visit Yea Forums
We've all been little girls for years, user.
Relatively. There's still a fair few on the island, and one would assume more at a magical institute. It's a huge difference between no one mentioning it in the brief window we get into their lives and no one noticing it for the years and years she'd had to have kept it secret.
maybe, i guess
at least Chil and Namari met (or heard) enough to get a stereotype in their head
disgusting
Plus, if Marcille were visibly a half-elf, that seems like the sort of difference Kabru would notice to himself (in a bit of aside dialogue) either when first meeting Marcille or when meeting the Canaries.
Those flames look so good
Are there any panels with one-eye-open Farlyn?
Was Magic Laius plotline dropped? He hasn't tried magic since Marci got stoned if I recall correctly.
Yeah, now that we know that Mr. Hyper perceptive was essentially raised by elves, it's harder to justify him not remarking on Marcille being half elf, since it would be an incredibly uncommon and possibly outrageous thing if she's keeping it a secret for some reason as well. It would take so much justification after the fact that it just doesn't seem like Kui's writing with it in mind. It's far more likely at this point that Marcille just looks the way she does because she's a fat, homely, elf.
Marcilles legs are underrated.
>eating brain and eyes
Absolute barbaric.
He doesn't know any particular spells aside from healing minor wounds right? It doesn't seem like there's been much opportunity for it to come up. Unless you just mean marcille teaching him more magic. I have a feeling that it'll probably either come up in the next serious cooking chapter where he tries using magic to cook, or it'll tie into the next plot thread like it did with the ghost.
Retract now
Marcille is beautiful
Can magic stop prions?
by human standards, sure
>the labels moving with the meat
>Senshi holding the drake in confusion
its the little thing
>Wasting food
that aside, the cheeks meat and tongue are the best thing i have ever eaten off a cow
they can make a bitching ragout
>she's a fat, homely, elf.
The ears might be an age-related thing too. Her child form had almost round ears, so presumably elf ears keep growing until they reach their "mid-twenties" in elf years.
Cheek and tongue are regular muscle, just placed somewhere we don't like thinking about. Brains are organ meat though, so they suffer from both an unpleasant texture, and an off putting taste. You can get around those problems with enough culinary know how, seasoning and additional ingredients, but I would never want to eat brains as a campfire meal so to speak.
the fact that Chilchack mentioned that there's no romantic relationships in their present party
>Marcille is ugl-
Yes, Childchack the love guru
Imagine grabbing those ears like a rein.
he's the only one with actual experience sadly. married with kids while the others are autistic virgins.
Marcille is a precious gem and must be protected at all costs.
The Asian’s solution to organ meat are lemon and a crap load of grinded pepper, garlic and shallot
Having tried intestine and uterus (yes, im not joking) stew, and cooked brain b4, i would rate them as “not bad”
But yeah, campfire cooking will never be able to prepare and cook them at a safe enough level
Eyes are a different story tho. I know some European think its tasty, but cutting that thing is creepy enough, let alone cooking
I bet you could chew on those fat lobes like bubble gum
Wait, isn't Marcille healing magic supposed to burn and itch like hell? How come Laius takes it like a champ whilst smiling
No, these are fragiles. Only tickling and some tip-of-the-tongue tasting.
I think it'll be relevant in some future chapter.
But it's fairly safe to say that laius and marcille aren't in a romantic relationship yet anyway. It's all just conjecture based off of their chemistry that it might happen in the future.
it's still there. It's not like we're gonna get a training arc.
The author is applying Wizardry tropes to the characters. They're basically multiclassing, which is a required function in Wizardry-clones to get new classes. Laius is becoming a lord with minor healing powers, which he did use in a later chapter. I think if I remember right, Chilchak might be becoming a Ninja or something. Or maybe a class that doesn't show up in Wizardry. Problem with him becoming a Ninja is that Ninjas are evil classes while Lords are good, so they can't mix.
Even in the dragon chapters he took healing a cut off leg quite well, unlik the others. This time he was sliced quite cleanly with a dullahan’s sword, which supposedly only cut flesh
He just has a lot of CON
He just
Laius is a fucking monster, that's why.
It only itched last time because it was a big wound. This is just a flesh wound.
She's even researching eternal life like Thistle did.
He didn't react much when she put his leg back on either. I think he's just too used to being stitched back together at this point
I don't think you start hallucinating and dying from a simple flesh wound
except this time the wizard can be conquered with the power of dick, which is well known to be stronger than the power of friendship
So it's pretty much confirmed that Laus is a furfag?
She literally says only his flesh was sliced.
That stupid kot is already a ninja user
Chil, Marcille and Senshi are probably going to stick to their base classes.
Speaking of Wizardry, magic is the bit that is a bit off. As I understand it, elvish magic=wizards, and gnomish magic=priests, but there seem to be a bit of an overlap regarding the healing.
well, its confirmed quite early. he has all the symptoms
He likes the pain.
>this time
Do you really think Thistle can win against the cock? You can't win against the cock.
Marcille is a bishop
>when the cat stripped naked and he wanted to see her nipples and inspect her tail
>Pic related
That's because the spectral sword phased through his armor and tunic.
Scruffy Laius is cute! CUTE!
Well, there is this one
derghal wasn't gay
This is a man that can calmly make a deal with a deadly spirit while his life is flashing before his eyes. It's safe to say that he's not normal.
I'm not convinced she actually is a bishop though. I think she might have just multiclassed as priest a little bit. That's why she complains about being bad at Farlyn's spells. She only knows the entry level healing spell, so she has to spam a lot of mana to heal someone to full hp.
Though really, one shouldn't overthink the videogame mechanics.
>cat has to be dragged back in
lol
She's a slut, she doesn't fall on people, only their dicks.
Wait, isn't Marcille's staff also named Ambrosia?
It's like a manikin, I feel nothing.
>Marcille becomes less of a complaining as she is revealed to be evil instead
>Introduce cat to fulfill the role instead
not gay if it's an elf
Wait, doesnt Farlyn use a mace/flail? I cant rmb a panel where she use a tradition staff
Lauis isn't a furry, his attractions are purely intellectual in nature. He's a monster otaku
You are not reading this manga if you think she's evil. Please fuck off.
I don't recall seeing her cast spells in general too much
Chapter 1. The mace/flail is a running gag
Don't have a zip but have this
>marcille x farlyn deconfirmed because of a subjective diagram from chilchack
If anything this chapter killed Marcille x Farlyn because it shows that Marcille thinks of her as a child, but you wouldn't bring that up since it would also kill off Laius x Marcille. But don't try to seriously use his diagram.
Poor Laius falling for the lesbian
>niryu.blogspot.com
nice
Also the diagram is not for potential relationships, more like things which actually happened
>tfw no dorf gf
>intimate bathing scene: marcille and farlyn
>no intimate bathing scene: marcille and laius
Cope
Best chapter ever of the best Manga ever. Utterly based and made my night last night
That's just begging for a prion disease.
What ramblings do you think Laius bothered Shuro with?
I can even use this very chapter
have you seen the pizza delivery episode of Spongebob? That's essentially their relationship
Probably something about the monsters they killed earlier that day, like their habits or special traits, how they taste, etc.
They seem to imply that there is just simply magic, with no distinction between Miracles and Spell casting like you'd see in normal D&D. Some of this seems to be from a more evolved form of Wizardry, like the later titles, or many of the Wizardry-clones that Japan likes making, like The Dark Spire or Etrian Odyssey.
Laius's ultimate Sparkledog. Surprisingly doesn't have a 3 page write-up on the keyblade he would have made to go with it.
prion disease is transferred from same-species to same-species.
you'd only get it if you ate something made with humans, or with fertilizer made from human waste.
We can eat the brains of other animals just fine, though I wouldn't take any risks with monkeys.
Wizardry and D&D "Evil" is actually different from someone being actually evil though. Marcille is in fact showing signs of being Evil-aligned.
Marcille is a fucking siscon.
Explain mad cow disease.
Fantastic, thank you so much.
The cat didn't strip naked, just mostly naked. She shouldn't have been interrupted. He should also get another chance to inspect her body again, without someone getting in the way.
Somebody was telling racy cow-jokes to them and they became upset.
how rude
Marcille thinking of Farlyn as a child makes sense because she met her when she was a child, she met Laius as an adult just a year previously. Elves are shown to have a hard time grappling with just how fast other races age and mature, as demonstrated repeatedly in that chapter so it'd be weird for her to think of laius as a child. Besides, she's never treated him like one. More just as a weirdo who torments her with crazy ideas.
Cow were fed other cows
Farlyn chapters/apperances are great, no wonder it's relatively rare in the manga
It wasn't just that they were being fed other cows, but they were in a cannibalistic cycle. That exponentially increases the chances of prions being spread among them, as infected cows were inevitably fed back into the system. You would get the same sort of problem even if it was a mixed species system, as prions aren't species specific. They're just fucked up self replicating proteins.
Elves also think this because of their lifespan, as Kabru pointed out. She treated Chilchack like that too, granted though Halflings do have a youthful appearance.
What did she mean by this?
>there are people here that havent ate an eye or brain
Lmaoing at your life
She knows about beefy centaur ass.
It's peasant food, only based non bourgeois have had the pleasure
Jamaican OxTail is pretty good
Offal is generally considered garbage meat and borderline inedible in the US. The only exception is liver, which is still notoriously unpopular.
I figured it was more that he's annoyed by her hypocrisy. She's been badgering him to reveal personal information, especially about age, but as soon as someone asks her she gets all flustered and dodges the question. This is especially because Marcille was quick to judge Chilchack's age by his appearance, while again Marcille seems indignant that the others might be doing the same to her.
there should be an /autism/ board where people can discuss shipping, powerlevels and half-elfs.
He drew a magic circle four or five chapters ago while the party was taking the trolley downstairs.
y
she's probably very young, 15 in elf years, and is pretending to be more mature than she is in front of the lower races
If you think Laius x Marcille isn't happening then you're lying to yourself. Period.
I just realized. Marcille doesn't have kids because of a complex over dying and mortality, is terrified of the notion of leaving someone behind or being left behind. Still has 100 years of hormones and biological clock ticking so her incessant need to mother explodes at every opportunity she comes across a child-like being.
>playing gacha with the changelings
Only fish eyes
I've noticed that recently the food has been increasingly macabre
>barometz/balut
>brains and eyes
>the proposal to eat farlyns dragon bits
Now i know how Marcille feels when they first suggested eating monsters. Also we didn't actually get to see them eat the horse head soup. Next chapter? It's too good to miss.
The first interaction with death and ressurection and she gives off a reaction of scientific ecstasy.
What's wrong with her?
A lot of cute scenes with Laius and his sister this chapters
>we didn't actually get to see them eat the horse head soup
Well fuck, is this the first chapter without any actual cooking or eating?
>is this the first chapter without any actual cooking or eating?
Pretty sure there have been other chapters like the ones with the elf squad fighting mushrooms and Thistle
biologists are another breed
We didn't get to see it, but she would have gone through the entire process of dying right before that. Drowning in a slime, drowning being one of the most painful and panic inducing ways to die, and being forced to face your own mortality. For someone with a very serious fear of death, going through all that and coming out alive on the other side would have to be one hell of an emotional slingshot.
>She only knows the entry level healing spell,
yeah but she's trying to find a way to cure death, whih would be like the utimate healing spell, so there's that
But they cook on the last pages of that chapter
Nevermind, you're right, it was the short one before that.
It strikes me as something exclusively for either those who can't afford to waste or are so wealthy they simply want to posture.
liver is legit good though
Trying to make her brother presentable for her elven lover
Well, same goes for the monsters that are beign found.
Most probably the dullahan will appear again
I hate liver's smell so fucking much.
It happens with many "delicacies". What once was yucky food only desperate peasants and fishermen ate (octopus, crabs, tripe) now is expensive tourist trap food
It tastes like mud
I hate the taste but I actually think it smells good, which just makes it that worst for me.
I've never had liver but I'd be open to trying it if I got the chance.
For me it's the opposite, smells bad but tastes delicious.
You can't cook it like chicken breast or a steak. It's good if cooked properly
>You can't cook it like chicken breast or a steak.
You can.
Fuck her
Well, you can. Doesn't mean you should
>marcille wants to be immortal
>she'll end up as the final boss
>she wins
>everyone gets to be immortal
Why? It is pretty much the most common way to cook it.
Liver is inedible without lingonberries.
>anglos
I'm so sorry
>just like Thistle
Pretty sure she is more concerned about the lifespan of others than her own mortality. In this chapter she was just amazed to see the magic of the dungeon in practice.
she doesn't want to be immortal. She wants to make everyone immortal
I think liver is one of the more common "Offal" to be consumed because it's so damn useful.
Also it's pretty fucking big
You don't feel too bad throwing a couple eyes out but something like a cow's liver is heavier than a dog
Is there any other series like this? I need sustenance...
Dorohedoro, maybe? Also read Ryoko Kui's other stuff. Some of it is even arguably better than DM.
Its not gay if they are your bro.
who are worse? cucks or masochists?
Is this Yea Forums's shiggy?
>mfw Yea Forums cannot understand the friendship between men and women
lol, have sex
They can't even understand friendship between women, what did you expect
Well this chapter manged to set off the shipping war. So sad seeing siblings forced to fight.
yeah I mean, if you are talking about Watamote, I completely agree
I'm sure Farlyn would be super stoked if her best friend and her cool brother hooked up
Yeah... A Marcille is nice, but a Izutsumi is ok too.
Was there a dump thread for this chapter?
ye
you have to kill the an animal anyway, why won't you eat everything? It's a lack of respect for the prey to waste their body.
I find you Nagash!
Namari want to ride Laious autistic dick, right?
Nah
Who wouldn’t
yeah, we can see she's a little different in comparison to other elves
The only cute gnome in existence is Marcille as a gnome!
Yep
if dorfs are stronger than men but with less stamina, does it mean that they are bad at sex?
>liking long legs
gross
I want to MATING PRESS Chilchack!
Senshi is also different compared to other dwarves but we're not claiming he's half ogre.
If you're into boy cats...
literal race traitor
are there any doujins about it?
The canaries have an elf with the biggest nose in their group. Elves and other races are allowed to look different.
Marcille want to explore Chilchak's cavity.
I think we can all agree Laius won't end up with a boring, human wife.
Could a woman mating press a guy?
Wizardry doesn't do half-elf shit, you dingus, and Dungeon Meshi is literally just Wizardry.
Based
Yes, it's called the Amazon position
How old did she look like when she was a loli half-foot?
Fat midgets have no right to be this attractive. How does Kui do it?
Asking him might be a good way to estimate her actual age.
I wish cat would get some character development already. She's still too much of a tagger on and hasn't developed much of a bond with the rest of the group aside from Marcille. I'm expecting a flashback on how she got her curse, but sooner than later would be nice.
Maybe she looked like an halfling kid, and Chilchack deduced she was actually quite young and that's why he was annoyed by Laius' question this chapter, since he smells drama and doesn't like it
>the cat ears are longer and pointier
>20.000 years
I agree, right now it feels like her entire use as a character is to be one of the straightmen in the gag scenes and to be Marcille’s comfort pet. I do expect she’ll get some more scenes for development as we were kind of hinted to a few chapters ago when the gang were talking about eating Farlyn.
Didn't her dad die of old age?
>4am
>"have I ever tell you about a basilisk's immune system? I think is amazing"
My wife Marcille is so cute!
I think so, yes. And since elves are all practically eternally beautiful and healthy until they die, it might not be implausible for him to have mated with Marcille's mother while he's 450 or so years old.
No, he died "quite young", but the cause of death was nowhere confirmed. And inb4 the monster in Marcilles dream, it also ate Farlyn. It represents the general fear of death, not specifically of old age. However her mother told her that most other people will die before her time, so it makes sense that is shown killing via aging. Time is inevitable.
>Did you know there is no less than seventeen types of giant insects that evolved to be perfectly silent and invisible in the dark ? They're nocturnal hunters, so it helps. I heard some colonies live in this level, I hope we get to see some nests !
Marcille is for bullying, sexually. Not rape and abuse and all that shit, just lots of light, little stuff.
Imagine gently blowing on here ears while she sleeping and whispering lewd things to her.
Would Laius be opposed to eating elves?
What if the elf was found in the dungeon? (i.e. the mad sorcerer)
What we've learned from this chapter:
>humans shouldn't eat humans
>squirrels shouldn't eat squirrels so that the humans can safely consume their brains
>cows shouldn't eat cows so that the humans can safely consume their brains
>Bicorn was born with magic and it wouldn't eat another stinky Bicorn so eating its head is good if disgusting unless you are some kind of a gourmet or brain connaisseur
>cows shouldn't eat cows so that the humans can safely consume their brains
It's humans shouldn't feed cows to cows so they can safely eat their brains.
horses like to rub their ass/pussy against fences
>manga suddenly gets Berserk shading
pretty ominous
He's just waiting for a good opportunity, not an excuse.
note that the dungeon has some mind control power that makes people want to stay in the dungeon, so her changing her mind completely once she went into the dungeon is super suspicious, especially when she talked about "making her dreams come true".
They're gonna kill the dark sorceror and all of them are gonna blink and realise they never had a good reason to come into the dungeon.
Pork brain is okay. Too bad they dont have any garlic down in the dungeon.
>six elves in the squad
>six intoners
my almonds are tingling
Dungeon corrupts and consumes only the greedy ones with base desires. Laius's party is too pure for that shit so the dungeon's influence doesn't affect their personalities.
I haven't seen any evidence of this whatsoever.
But she has admitted that she's attracted to tall guys though.
>it's another instrumentality episode
Not at all. It was friendly banter. Could be true, but it's like me calling you a fag.
They must have a significant age gap. I'd prefer no romance in this story. The only explicit one is Sureau and he sucks
At least she doesn't chase 14-years-old boys around her house with the intention of raping them.
Romance isn't needed to explore the cat's body.
What?
Well, Sureau's love is quite unhealty. That's the point
I'd wondered about that. Whether Marcille named her staff the same way or she's somehow using Farlyn's.
Fuck off Agni
Is that a reference to something?
That sounds pretty hot, actually.
Reminder his severed leg was healed and he absently scratched it until it was bleeding and had a seam again
It isn't needed regardless. Chilchak has the right of it. Romance ruins threads and parties.
Huh, didn't know the name for that. So it's the one where you break ones dick.
"They are all those of "Justice" " and the rest are the words of the El Presidente des States Unifes d'America Funny Valentine, the primary villain of the seventh part of JoJo's Bizzare Adventure, Steel Ball Run. He said them to one of the protags to convince him that he isn't that bad though he actually was that bad. One of his actions in an earlier arc was discovering that his wife was actually a 14-years-old girl disguised as her to uncover his evil plans. Once he realized that and maybe the fact that his real wife was dead, he got a great urge to rape her and make her pregnant, being only stopped by Jesus Christ himself placing one of his corpse parts inside her.
What?
>Imagine
Namari was teased by a friend at the tavern saying "you always liked long legs".
That's not her saying that seriously, it's not confirmed at all.
>She's actually 8,000 star years old, bro
man I started reading this a while ago and loved the shit out of it but haven't touched it in forever and I don't know why. stopped reading around the time they killed the dragon
whats I understand is that this elf slut clearly wants the laius longus
You know, she might well be by that metric. That's kind of interesting.
You're in for a treat.
Never thought I'd say this but Kabru when.
Cope harder fujoshit
After him and Misurn are finished fucking offscreen
>No one can talk about Bleach anymore without harping on who fucked who. No one can talk about Naruto without harping on who fucked who. It's fucking tiresome.
Maybe stop reading shit?
She will make a fine queen
i don't know why but she/he is my type that lazy eye makes my p p hard.

Cute
HOLY FUCK i just noticed the next chapter is in fucking OCTOBER
Why?
literally, a Dark Souls boss
It's always been that way, Harta magazine has no October issue.
>men and women interaction must be sex
lol, cumbrain
Anyone want to talk about this?
Dungeon Meshi, featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series.
Steel a soul for a second chance
But you will never become a man
>the #1 anime/manga crotch (male)
contest is over now, thanks to everyone
Basically a precaution in case I have an autism and decide to fold the 2132 other images in my smug folder that are not currently sequentially numbered into the sequence.
Farlyn better get a happy ending damn it.
We will have the scene where they all have to each the monster part of her body together. There's absolutely no way Kui doesn't have at the very least scenes where Laius asks Sureau, Kabru and Namari to eat her and they freak the fuck out, and then one where Senshi serves them the actual dish and they feel like dying.
As it should be.
You guys noticed how Laius hallucinates wrong people into those recollections? (Namari/Sureau having dryad hay fever.)
Is that crazy looking Marcille actually playing the role of Mad sorcerer (who was shown looking crazy angry at Laius)?
Not really, since the Red Dragon already lived in the lower levels it's highly possible for the original team to have fought dryads.
I personally wouldn't mind her being freed from Mad Saucy's control but remaining a hybrid because that whole plot is just creepy.
In anycase, wouldn't asking the orcs be a better option than other humans. They probably have no qualms about eating monsters or even humans.
Shes a lot of dragon
Judging by Kui's oneshots, she's a fan of tragic romance, so shipfags shouldn't celebrate yet. Some of these guys may die.
The "Last Supper" will likely be an arc unto itself, both the planning and implementation of the meal and guest list as well as some sort of crazy last minute time critical problem that'll be the multi-chapter finale battle/food prep sequence.
Farlyn is fucking dead
Dullahans are cool
He also sees strangely child-like Farlyn eating the dragon pizza
indeed
I just read the one with the japanese peasant boys and the gods. That was a pretty sad ending.
Compare
She is known to like long legs, but unfortunately, we cannot confirm or deny any attraction, as the chart that would have shown what they thought of each other showed nothing.
Oh fuck, I just realized the last pic is when Marcille got petrified.
>Laius' last thought before dying is her most embarrassing moment
Looks like regular Farlynn with a mouthful of pizza to me
I think that's Darth Marcille resurrecting Farlyn
I want circumstances to happen due to which we have sex while she looks like that
I wonder if anyone's drawn the party wearing Monster Hunter gear.
BTW, I saw people suggesting that Marcille stole the staff name from Farlyn. Pretty sure you misread that.
It's Marcille saying that to Farlyn (obviously, you can see her staff being incomplete in the flashback and complete by the time she et Laius), she's head over heels jumping from one topic to another due to having been so long apart from her.
Also, Farlyn doesn't have even a staff at that point.
Can't say I see it. It seems to point to Falryn's mouth, and from the look of it Marcille corrects her on the years.
Could also be a mistranslation
Where does Farlyn create any staff that could be completed? She only has staff in one flashback pics, she carriers maces/hammers/flails in usually, she definitely doesn't have a special magic staff she could be talking about there.
She had a staff in the first chapter when she got rekt by the dragon that she used to cast the teleport spell.
Probably more of a priest scepter. In any case, she keeps switching weapons and doesn't have anything unique/personal back then.
To which floor do you guys think Kabru and Captain Androgynous fell to?
I really wonder if this manga is as popular as it's supposed to be, because the jap fanart seems to be rather rare. And often when it appears, crap, like the porn pic of Marcille fresh on gelbooru, ffs getting boobs AND Marcille's pants and shoes completely wrong, get an anatomy book tard
It sells well. It's usually pretty high up on the manga sales charts for a few weeks at a time.
There are a handful of nip fanartists that I’m following on twitter but it seems like the fanart mostly comes from Korea and westerners. Perhaps it’s just not aligned towards the average Japanese fanartist for whatever reason
I don’t know about porn though if that’s what you’re talking about because I don’t really look for that kind of stuff for this series.
Got a feeling Marcille is gonna do some crazy shit once she can get her hands on that book
To be fair, Marcille has one of the most changing looks of the cast. She'll switch up her clothes and hair style constantly while the guys just stick to their practical gear.
It's monthly, so of course you won't see much of it.
it does't really follow common japanese tropes or storytelling techniques.
I think it's just more aligned to western tastes than jpanes
>no chapter for 2 months
Welp
Yeah but her sandals are pretty distinct and constant, she never had high heels, and her pants are always baggy, not thin skintights, to get you an idea what I raged about. I probably wouldn't have gone into shitfit if it wasn't for th anatomy. The artist is kinda bleh usually, I recall the name.
Weren't all the other party members each dedicated a chapter to bond with Izutsumi? Her character development is fine. She just lacks backstory at the moment.
I do believe that the human race in this manga is called "tallmen" in Japanese. So by "long legs", they meant that she has a thing for humans.
Another great chapter, damn what a series.
>How old do you think I look?
>20,000 YEARS OLD!
hahaha based cat
That bit's gonna be great in the anime.
>Laius and Farlyn would have probably been pretty successful and wealthy if they weren't so generous with their party members
>They probably wouldn't have found themselves in the situation where they couldn't gear up properly for a new expedition into the dungeon if they took better account of their money
>Being generous didn't stop Namari and Sureau from bailing when they had a wipe
>Despite being nothing but cordial, generous and good natured they still managed to get a bad reputation as a party because some ex-members happened to be scumbags
I feel a bit sorry for them.
But at the same time it's their generous and unique nature that won over some pretty heavy weight people and have gotten them so far. Yeah most don't realize it and take advantage of it, but even so.
Heck, it might even have given them unknowingly a bit of early boost or at least defense from the dungeon when they were getting going, because they weren't so greedy. Like the orcs or senshi, maybe if it was just folks like them they could have explored and had a lot of adventure for a long time without the dungeon reacting much.
Chil was worth every cent though.
Plus I think Namiri and Shuro might redeem themselves.
Subaru really only ditched to bring in the heavy guns. Namari legitimately gave up on them though.
>Drunk Farlyn and Tade in the background
Cute.
Sureau still needs some more redemption nevertheless. So far we've only gotten to the point where he was so much of an asshole he actually realized he was being one and backed off a bit. And I really want to like Namari, but she needs to fucking make up for dropping them like that without even a warning.
Rereading the first chapter I'm not sure if Namari realized Farlyn was missing though.
I'll just leave this here
e-hentai.org
>Rereading the first chapter I'm not sure if Namari realized Farlyn was missing though.
Everyone knew save Laius since he was unconscious.
I like this detail that shows that Marcille's skirt used to be longer when she first met Laius, and has since been shortened.
I wonder if golddigger-chan ex-member (mage apparently) is going to show since she has been referenced three times already.
>>Being generous didn't stop Namari and Sureau from bailing when they had a wipe
Can't agree with you anons, one thing I really like about this series is that Professionalism is a big part of the mix. Yeah there are newbs mixed in and shitters and those who wash out, but most of the mid to high tier adventurers, even if seemingly quirky as fuck personally, are just plain fucking good. They're pros. It's a job. Maybe a job they really like and are good at too, but still a job. And a good working dynamic with your comrades is very valuable for making stuff happen and reacting in a pinch, nothing wrong with being drinking buddies and such with coworkers. And sure, you might well try to do some favors or go the extra mile once in a while with coworkers you get along with.
But that doesn't mean working for free. Sometimes businesses go bankrupt and that's just how it is, it can't always be personal nor is it necessarily anyone's fault, shit happens. It's lucky they had some best buds mixed in too, or Chil being paid up front and then getting drawn farther in, but I don't think Namari or Sureau did anything wrong by going their own ways after a wipe like that.
>That bush
Can we assume Namari is the same?
I take that back, it's a different dress. It does look shorter in more recent chapters though.
Fucking teaser, for a moment I thought it was an actual dungeon meshi doujin by Mira but it's just random lewd elves. Fuck off. I'd love to see an actual doujin with her a farlyn because they're such interesting characters, not just any old random shitty elf of which there many.
>They succeed at everything
>Farlyn is human again and ok, Marcille actually found an immortality spell, Senshi has the whole dungeon at his disposal now, Chilchak is rich enough to never again have to work
>But most important of all, Laius became the new immortal king of the dungeon
>All our heroes are standing around him sitting on the throne, smiling and having a nice moment of friendship and victory
>Suddenly marriage seeker enters the castle
>Immediately throws herself at Laius and starts blatantly hitting on him in front of everyone
You mean the halfling?
Isn't he(?) also a scout?
On second thought, I'm wrong again. She changed out of her dress into a separate top.
Marcille is so beautiful, holy shit. My heart can't take it.
Misurn teleported away, leaving him to fall to his death with part of his right leg replaced by a fucking mushroom. Fucking knife ears.
If he left the house looking like that he'd have a harem getting in his way, so it's a good thing he cleaned himself up!
I'm ok with them dropping out, even if it was an inopportune time, but they were really scummy by doing it just leaving a note for Laius saying "btw we're with another guild now cya" while he was unconscious.
>I think that's Darth Marcille resurrecting Farlyn
It definitely is. Marcille in serious dark magic mode over Farlyn is something Laius has seen, though maybe not that exact angle though that's ok, memories are somewhat subjective. It's not him just imagining things though.
>random shitty elf of which there many
There has been exactly one, her prego doujin. Which is officially and canonically the best thing ever. This is best thing ever returns.
there is no romance in Dungeon Meshi, just casual sex friendship
All those who have died will walk the earth again and the dead shall devour the world.
Cutest world-destroying necromancer ever!
>I'm ok with them dropping out, even if it was an inopportune time, but they were really scummy by doing it just leaving a note for Laius saying "btw we're with another guild now cya" while he was unconscious.
I guess? Different work places have different ethics around such things though when time is up fwiw. I did an Outward Bound once with a bunch of interesting folks including a guy who had done a lot of work for circuses. He said there when a contract was done people would just up and leave in the middle of the night and that was that, maybe show up again next season if there was more work needed. Not the core group necessarily but tons of stage help and hands and so on. A lot of ancient mercenary groups and naval ships and so on were also like that, officers were one thing but the "hands" just came and went most of the time, unless they particularly knew some officers well and tried to follow them from unit to unit or ship to ship.
Dunno, I guess it just doesn't seem that weird to me in context and nobody seemed to have any real hard feelings about it except Marcille, who is canonically the biggest newb adventurer and something of a fish out of water bringing her more sheltered academic perspective in early on.
That was a good thread
This might sound odd but I fucking love seeing the tiny errors in her art. Like the head's outline going into the ear, or the hat having areas here and there that are were left uncolored. Art feels more authentic like this, when you can zoom in and see the strokes.
>h with part of his right leg replaced by a fucking mushroom.
no it's the other way around
>Cutest world-destroying necromancer ever!
She really fits his shoes, tho Thistle has cuter name.
>my dream come true
Marcille was researching ancient magic because she wants to bring back the dead isn't she? That never ends poorly.
Remember the whole frogsuit thing screwed her clothing too at one point. This is one series where nice clothing can in fact take damage and be destroyed.
It should have destroyed some hair too.
Anyone else a bit irked how the manga portray death so casually? Dying by that slime must be an awful fucking experience.
Prion is the scariest one.
I'm gonna need sauce on this one.
Other than the unpleasantness of drowning it probably just feels like falling unconscious, like they said. The soul didn't even have time to leave the body.
That's a point the manga is making. The desensitization to death is something Senshi always cautioned.
The fact that she's a weirdo for being so fascinated by it instead of terrified is kind of the point.
Her dream is probably to make people stop believing dark and ancient magic is bad, and all depends on its intention
Look at how fucking fluffy her hair is oh my god.
>Other than the unpleasantness of drowning
I doubt it would be as easy as just drowning user, slimes are usually corrosive and that one was deepthroating her, so it is more like inserting a huge fucking knife down your lungs
The tone is comical. Boy if this bothers you, some of Kui's short stories will give you a crisis
Not really, if anything that's the entire point of the story regarding the mad wizard and maybe Laius' quest to save his sister.
>as easy as just drowning user
Drowning is believed to be extremely painful and distressing death
>tfw using temporary buffs to hit CHA checks
She died to cracking her head open, the slime just surprised her enough to slip.
yes they are, images edited for blue boards.
>laius party is pure
not after last chapter, they're some seven deadly sins shit now
>Her dream is probably to make people stop believing dark and ancient magic is bad, and all depends on its intention
"Dark" Magic appears to be more accurately hypermagic, it draws upon the energy of another universe/higher level reality which allows them to completely exceed the normal limits of the world. Even regular magic still has component requirements and mana cost that has to be restored and so on.
So it's basically like the magic equivalent of nuclear power or something, except even more so. Which can definitely have major positive uses, and the bad stuff in principle can be dealt with by a fairly sane species.
In practice though we aren't particularly sane and the destructive aspects of it are REALLY destructive and have come damn close to fucking us all hardcore multiple times. And even the lesser bad stuff like the waste products aren't something we've been very intelligent about dealing with. I personally would fall into Marcille's category I guess actually, I think nuclear is worth continuing to pursue and try to mitigate the bad effects of. But I can completely understand some people having the position of "we are just too dumb to not ultimately fuck ourselves with this." They might be right.
>temporary
Laius is handsome (or at least he gives that image whenever he's not in cartoony lunatic mode), has a fit body, can reason with a Dullahan and, despite everything, everyone always defaults to him as leader. His Cha is probably pretty high. It's his Wis that's fucking dragging along the floor, if you've noticed all his "social fuckups" like Sureau or the ex party members that gave them a bad rep weren't from awkwardness or lack of sociability as much as just simply lacking the intuition and common sense to know where he shouldn't be trying to be nice.
>Laius tries to be sinful
>Worst he can manage is telling a horse he fucking hates him because he wishes he was a horse
I'll never stop laughing at Senshi's fuckhuge beard turning into the teeniest little mustache
Laius isn't any different from a child who wants to be an eagle because they're cool
>Dungeon corrupts and consumes only the greedy ones with base desires. Laius's party is too pure for that shit so the dungeon's influence doesn't affect their personalities.
It's an explicit plot point user following the Griffin chapter and Senshi's revelation that while that may have been true initially, Laius and co (well, Laius and Marcille anyway) now want a LOT. No, they're not stereotypically greedy money grubbers at all. But they want to defy death, fate, whatever, to wield power beyond imagining and mess with the soul to bring back Farlyn and potentially defeat Thistle and save everyone and who knows what.
It's not about base desire, it's about strength of desire period. Just because it's a moral desire doesn't change the fact that it's still a very strong and very costly desire. Senshi thinks it means that they'll face stronger and stronger stuff as they head for the winged lion and all that.
>"Dark" Magic appears to be more accurately hypermagic, it draws upon the energy of another universe/higher level reality which allows them to completely exceed the normal limits of the world. Even regular magic still has component requirements and mana cost that has to be restored and so on.
Who knows what does that do tho. What if that is super harmful in some way? Or has such effects?
>they are plentiful enough for a 6-7 men criminal squad
that's a specifically elven faction, retard
of course the elves field elves
Senshi is so awesome damn.
Yeah, though even having literally any facial hair at all is mindblowingly manly for an elf. Apparently the rest of his beard was changed into that AURA OF FABULOUS he has those chapters.
>Who knows what does that do tho. What if that is super harmful in some way? Or has such effects?
What? Like I said user, think nuclear. Or even farther, if we had some way to simply violate mass/energy conservation and produce unlimited power, some sort of paradox reactor thing. It doesn't have to be some stupid "omg soul corruption" thing, merely what humans (or other sentients equivalent) would do with it. We'd inevitably use it for weapons just for starters, and likely ones more destructive then anything before, literally world destroying.
Of course, simultaneously it could be world enhancing, free clean energy, can travel to the stars, colonize other worlds etc. But we might be able to do that anyway just slower and worse, whereas utter annihilation might come from using it wrong. It doesn't have to be inherently evil in any way to still be a worry.
>at least Chil and Namari met (or heard) enough to get a stereotype in their head
You get a stereotype by not actually knowing people of the particular type and just sistening to what randos who also don't know say.
Slowpoke as absolute fuck here, but was just looking back through the red dragon chapters to remind myself of what went down there after Laius' flashback and realized I'd never noticed the Winged Lion banner in the house they slept in, or noticed the sword starting to change there. God damn I love the attention to detail and life in this series so much.
wonder if protection from that is part of why that house was so nice and that little girl seemed less screwed up then most souls we saw outside of the preserve?
Cute. omokbu.com
yeah cow tongue is fucking great
I wouldn't say regular muscle, I mean it is muscle, but it's a very unique cut.
had a bunch of baby teeth pulled as a kid, high as shit, pulled the stitches out before I even left the chair
drugs are scary
Her dream would be to bring humans to the same life as elves.
So he's totally not dead, right? Cause I ended up liking his punchable face a lot.
>Her dream would be to bring humans to the same life as elves.
could legit see this, maybe not just humans but every race. make them all equal. there would probably even be a lot who'd deify her for it.
Liver is so fucking good I wish I had chronic anemia.
It's good. Just fry it to get some surface and pour on cream and let it simmer. Easy liver and sauce base, eat with some lingonberries.
Give me sauce you coward.
This manga doesn't have a single bad chapter.
>everyone talking about shipping
LADS cmon we're missing the most important part of this chapter
>the letter Marcille drops on the table by accident in the tavern
There's no way Kui doesn't put in a detail like that and then never come back to it. Did I miss something where it was referenced already? If not, it's gotta have something more to it
Never mind you are not a coward, I was a fool.
Cheek is supposedly a very good meat often.
Brain, I know about a pig dish, supposedly not bad at all.
From sheep and cow and possibly other species should not be consumed, prion diseases are deadly and some of the scariest shits you could contract. And yeah, humans can get it from these livestocks.
It can't be destroyed by cooking.
>Did I miss something where it was referenced already?
Cover page, where she's reading it. It's Farlyn's letter and where she learned that Farlyn was taken by Laius to adventure in some island.
She's going to fucking deify Laius when they've pulled this off. Weirder is he'll probably have grown into it.
I fucking hope not and doubt it. He wouldn’t just die like that and if he did he’ll get resurrected at some point somehow.
Cheek is heavenly.
I'm glad to hear that. I can understand some difference in taste, but if they passed this up I would be fucking livid.
Why was it walking though?
>Hit the ceiling and door arch
Nice touch.
Someone killed his horse.
He's not the reason that Laius is bleeding out at the start of the chapter is he? They patched him up relatively quickly when they found him.
do you even read befor or l
like y
Yeah, it's nice to see a character trying their damnedest to beat death without being the series's one-note psychotic villain about it.
Sweet jesus
Brain is basically just semi-solid butter.
He can't die yet, he still has the damn mushroom in his leg and I don't want that gag to go unexplored
> namari's wild untamed musky pube jungle
Nah, I expect more awkward misadventures between him and the captain.
I'm just saying the awkward schmuck has his moments.
it's kinda weird that it has a spectral blade, that doesn't damage Laius' armor, but it has a physical form that gets stuck on ceilings
It's going to be his only food source and he'll have to cook and eat it himself.
What
FUCKKK... You're making me hungry, you bastard.
Good going user, you were so retarded you gave a stroke.
Consider Laius as having basically max stats in everything aside from CHA, which is abysmal.
That's senshi as an orc you mega-dinguses.
don't worry, as long as user doesn't wander outside of his dungeon someone'll pick him up sooner or later
DON'T YOU DIE ON ME, user.
A-are you okay, user?
>eating your own shroom leg
user do you need an ambulance
I like you too user :)
darn
user come on
user, NO!
Stay with me!
She did a lot of healing magic, undead repelling, and a teleportaiton spell, but I don't remember her using combat magic like Marcille.
