Screw your favorite anime what are your favorite arcs in a manga/anime? Some manga have their highs and lows and are harshly criticized for their worst moments when their best were really fucking good. Mine is the Osaka arc in Gantz. Just the pure debauchery that unravel before the Tokyo teams eyes is such a fucking treat.

Coalition Army arc in Kingdom
Abashiri Prison arc in Golden Kamuy
Kojiro flash back in Vagabond

I think you cannot get much better than Berserk's Golden Age arc. It's one of the best structured character-driven stories I've seen in manga/anime.

Also, I really enjoy the "Fight of New Year's Eve" arc (I've chosen to call it by that name; it's the climax of the first part of the manga) from Beastars.

Isn't it one of the longest arcs ever?

Akagi's alzheimer's arc

Tower arc from Usogui
Faudo's arc from Gash Bell
King of Clubs from Alice in Borderland

>I think so. "Golden Age" spans over eleven volumes. Irl, it took Miura almost seven years to complete it.

As much as I enjoyed the anti-social based powers of The Minus arc, the successor/election arc is my favorite from Medaka Box; For Anshin'in and all the meta commentary that was involved.

Made in heaven - Jojo
Prologue - Vinland Saga
Broccoli - Mob psycho
Friendship game - Kaiji
Shabody archipelago - Onepiece
Manji's rescue - Blade of Immortal

what? why does it matter? any genre is fine.

Broccoli-Mob Psycho 100
Farewell Shinsegami- Gintama
Arnold Park-One Piece

Boa hancock arc was the last good arc in one piece

The nationals arc in slam dunk and Rikishi arc in ashita no joe are probably the best sport arcs and the best thing ever done in shonen.

12 Houses/Sanctuary arc in Saint Seiya.

Legendary.

Buddha, Dino, Oni, Osaka, they’re all top tier arcs.

Ice Hell and Monkey King Zambina, both from Toriko. They both have their weak points, but if the manga had been that consistently good it would've been an inarguable classic.

why? it felt pretty short from what i remember.

Coalition just felt like the final arc of any other manga when it was maybe the halfway point of the first half on Kingdom. Ridiculous high stakes, everyone pulling crazy shit on both sides and the final battle where Sei rallies the entire city to stand off against Riboku were just 10/10 for me. Also fully agree, that deaf fucker is the pinnacle of the manga

My nigga.

I just felt it was more dynamic than previous stuff, and it summed up Kei's characters development rather nicely.

Bleach - Soul Society arc.

The Heavy suit is one of my favourite designs of all time

Chimera Ants, Yorknew City, Greed Island and Succession War

Witch's arc in Instant Bullet.
