It does. Just watch every part and if you still don't like it, then read the entire manga. Once you're up to date with JoJolion you will 100% be "into JoJo", even if you don't like it, and there will be absolutely not point in dropping it.

Phantom Blood is the best Jojo Part.
Jojo isn't actually that good, especially once Stands get introduced.

No. But it implements a new battle system which allows for more varied battles. People's opinions vary from it's garbage to a way to avoid power creep but it quickly starts to become monster of the week.
Part 3 (Stardust Crusaders) is the worst offender because araki is trying to work out what works and what doesnt.

Season 1 is the only good one. After that it becomes a monster of the week show.

Part 1 - Part 3 is the DIO Trilogy Part 4-6 is the Stands Trilogy in my opinion haven't read SBR universe yet

Yes, every season after it is better and you can skip Season 1 if you really want to

BUT

You will appreciate and enjoy the series way more if you DO watch season 1.

Regarding the other seasons, each one has its own charm and suits specific tastes of people.

PS: Phantom Blood (Part 1) and Bloody Stream (Part 2) are in the same season but Bloody Stream starts at episode 9

I fucking love Part 1. I don't get how you would even think about skipping it. It's nine goddamn episodes. That's like, an afternoon of watching.

Plus, I just think it's awesome. I love how cheesily heroic Jonathan is. You've got that full orchestral score, and the sincerity in the story is refreshing compared to a lot of what you get these days.

Thats the problem most people have though, Johnathan as a character seems very flat because he is literally "Morals & Justice the Character" and nothing else.

The story depends too much on Johnathan's adventure and determination (which in turn depends on Johnathan's character).
I wouldve loved the Part more if Zeppeli and Speedwagon had their own little adventure while Johnathan was fighting his way through to Dio.

Not to mention, those 3 Hamon monks (Straizo, Dire and Tonpetti) were pretty useless (Straizo only acts as a short villain in Part 2) and Dire died right away.

It was nice seeing Dio do his own vampiric stuff during the story, but it wouldve been cooler if we got to see Dio struggling a little bit too.

The thing is Part 1 is fucking short. I never got 'tired' of Jonathan because his entire story is like a slightly long movie. He's an unironic hero, who goes on an unironic hero's journey, and it's over before you can really say much bad about it.

Make it 48 episodes and stretch it out to fighting a 'vampire of the week,' and I might have a lot more issues.
