As for examples I will have admit I can't remember them. If it's character I didn't find interesting I quickly forget about them. I can only bring Yue because she's current season. I like the 2003 seras she came across as more contemplative, about her situation, it felt she may have been having second thoughs.
When I watched ultimate I always had that vision of original seras, as if her bubbly personality in the manga and ultimate were a facade over alot of fear sadness and resentment. Which was further reinforced by the reveal of her backstory.
I think in though of her as a much more complex character than the author originally meant.
