I just finished fate route. I started UBW and have some questions.

I thought Avalon needs magical energy to heal you and the times he was getting healed before was the magical energy Kiritsugu put in Avalon before he put it in Shirou’s body and it shattered into pieces >Avalon What does this exactly do as a Noble Phantasm, Saber uses it as a Shield against Ea? But she says it won’t heal her if she gets healed by Ea?

The game will let you skip old scenes that you've already read. It lets the user regenerate and retreat into the Avalon dimension temporarily to avoid attacks.

The VN doesn't actually track percentage, so as long as you get all the endings and Tiger Dojos, you can 100% it.

Gae Bolg's curse was a bit too powerful so Saber needed to give it a boost.

When Saber has it, it heals most wounds and when activated it protects her from pretty much everything. >making choices There are some choices that have different dialogue but lead to the same result. If you want to get all of those and thus all the dialogue, you'll need to pick every choice, not just the ones that lead to the tiger dojos.

It's been a while, and while it was nice, I wish they had used better BGM. That song didn't fit at all, what were the thinking? The game had so many great tracks, they couldn't have just used one of those, or added a slightly different spin to one? New Dawn honestly was half the reason the other endings were all so good in my opinion.
Also I read one of the earlier patched versions, so unfortunately I think it was the one where they used the Chinese version as a base. There was definitely something lost in translation there, it didn't flow very well at all, legitimately couldn't even understand some of what they were trying to say.
I think it could have used being longer, whole thing felt kind of abrupt, the lead in is what I think makes the other ones so great, but still, it was satisfying to see them get a good end.

Half of it's just a recap of the Fate route and a good portion would just be abstract scenery. The key point is that we're not allowed to see Shirou's face after the Fate route until he and Saber are reunited in Avalon. It's like a fairy tale.

With Realta Nua at least the game WON'T SKIP what you have already read in the Fate route when you start UBW. It's insane since it was a thing on Tsukihime and it makes F/SN really awful to read since you can never know if there's anything new and you really really don't want to read the boring shit happening in Emiya's house twice.

Never answered afaik, tho I think it was Lancer who committed the murders as it was mentioned to have been done with a blade. Two factors: one, his magical alignment is sword, so by the same means as he is good at projecting them out of nothing, he is also good at turning his body into them. So when receiving heavy physical trauma his body automatically reverts to turning his body into swords.
Two, Avalon is healing him with Saber's presence feeding it.
You can see the difference between just the former acting and both acting in conjunction in the bad end where Rider and Saber fight in the school, after Andomeda is activated. If, when Shirou gets kicked out the window, you don't choose to summon Saber, when hitting the ground Shirou will look down at his body and go "Oh, swords..." and then die. But when he summons Saber he survives the same impact without any issues. >Avalon It has essentially two functions. is there anything I should read when I’m done the novel for more of the original and canon type moon lore? I already have tsuki,kt, melty and hollow ataraxia ready. I found something called notes or angel notes which seems important and watched zero (not sure if I should read the LN as well)

Kiri on the other hand didn't use it only for defense, but also used it to overclocked his heart/body going 3x and 4x times normal which would have blown his heart and rest of his body if not for Avalon's constant healing factor. Now apply to Saber with her huge prana reserves made her nearly unbeatable with Avalon even without Excalibur. In Saber it makes her immune to nearly everything. Even time itself couldn't hurt Saber with Avalon since she didn't age. That's before Avalon's actived defense effect.
Saber only died because the rebellion happened after Avalon was stolen.

If Saber gets hit by Ea directly, even Avalon wouldn't be able to heal her. She'd be dead. That why she has to guard against it by activating Avalon. Passive healing isn't going to help her.

In Fate/Extella, Saber never met Shirou. In Fate/Grand Order, there are numerous references to their relationship. She knows Emiya's identity and blushed when speaking about him. During the Summer 2016 event, she regularly alludes to Fuyuki landmarks, including the red bridge and the Emiya residence's cypress bath. She also vaguely alludes to Shirou, whom she considered the only "partner" who ever stood equally with her.
Also, here's this from Fate/Grand Order Material I: >In the past, when summoned in the Fifth Holy Grail War of Fuyuki City, she liked the lion plushie she got from the youngster that was her Master, and it seems she carries it and sleeps with it in the futon.
