Chrollo is also a really fast thinker when it comes to battle. After he has seen the royal guard in action, he could formulate a plan to take them on. And finally, he has a huge variety of nen abilities, that can keep the enemies guessing and make them keep their distance. Basically Chrollo could hold his own in a 1v1 with a royal guard. From the troupe, I think Feitan has the best chance against them.

Meruem's desire to know his name didn't come out of nowhere. His meeting with Komugi was what made him consider his identity.
Previously to that, he had just followed his insticts and done what he thought was his purpose, but after repeatedly losing against Komugi, he realized he might not be the strongest at everything after all - but if he's not the strongest, then who is he? That's when he began wondering about his name; the thing denoting our identity.
And it makes total sense that Meruem doesn't immediately care about his mother and the others after his identity crisis. Meruem matures extremely quickly with the right catalyst, due to being superintelligent, but it's still a process. Empathy is something people usually develop during a long childhood, but Meruem was too powerful right off the bat, so his baby tantrums couldn't be contained.
