Ultimate Gohan was always ridiculously strong, he stomped Super Buu who was stronger than Super Saiyan 3 Goku without even trying. DBM just didn’t make the power up go away for no reason like GT and Super did.

he was very strong, but not on an absolutely crazy level like he is in DBM. they not only made it so not training didn't affect it but also made it so it just made gohan stronger overtime even though he never trained. i don't really care that much though since this manga is just entirely battle porn.
