Baki is shit but Baki fighters are on a whole different level. Even the best fighters in Kengan like Gensai, Fang, Ohma, Hatsumi and Gaolang are mid tier at best. Even a character like Wakatsuki who can punch through walls and has superhuman muscle density wouldn't hold a candle to Baki, much less Yujiro

Dorian with weapons and dirty tricks Dorian , in a kengan match Bando. Bando’s Main weapon is his faster-than-eye-speed arm whip which Dorian couldn’t do anything about unarmed but on the street he would use his titanium wire

Gaolang is shown to be faster imo

The kengan fighters are generally faster and have more superhuman skill and precision but some of the baki fighters are stronger and most baki fighters are much more durable
Baki fighters are more memorable and interesting but overall on mother whole scale of power except yujiro

I feel like Grappler Baki-era Baki should be used honestly, as that's where Baki as a franchise was 30 volumes in (which is how long Kengan is at the moment). Also people downplay how wacky Kengan is too, it has plenty of people who can punch/kick through solid concrete, as well as people who can move at superhuman speeds, various genetic freaks, and then shit like Release.

Jack, he was an incredibly technical fighter earlier on and could even use Aiki in conjunction with his freak strength. Would be a bloodbath though.
