This isn't my first Comiket, but I make a point of going to the earlier days. There is always some change in how they want you to get around big site. Those little changes can make or break a good outing on the last day when don't have time to be dicking around. I plan to go back for day 2 to do more recon and to cosplay again. Then I will hit up Akihabara again to grab more figures, then drop them back home and chill for a bit. At around 10pm I will start heading back to Big Site so I can camp out for day 3. If I play my cards right I should be in and out Day 3 i less than an hour

Actually, if you just grab one that's partnered on GSC it'll probably be good, since you basically would have ability to report to GSC about one of their partners being shitty then and getting them removed from the list. If you like Hokusai the painter but not the servant then there's not much point in playing. She doesn't play much part in the game and if you start playing the NA version now you can only get her normal version in about 5 months, and her summer version in 2 years. Not much hurdle to playing as a EUfag. You just can't install it from the usual play store but can download it through other means.

Not that user but depending on what type of shipment you choose you'll sometimes have to go there and pay import taxes in person or whatever. It happens sometimes. They ask you to open the package and show them that it's actually the same item that's listed on the invoice you have to show them as well.
Doesn't happen with DHL express though. They pay the import taxes for you right away and then you pay the DHL man once he arrives at your door.

I'm assuming you're asking about figures? First, I avoid buying from companies with mediocre quality like Koto and Phat, or at least wait until after release for reviews. Most of my figures are from Alter and GSC. Typically I'll see a figure first at an event like Wonfes so I make sure to look for clear photos to examine it. The key is looking for as many photos and official pics from different angles and discarding any that you feel unsure about. If there's anything bothering you about a figure just looking at pics, like a bad face or weird sculpt, it'll be way worse when you get it in person.
