i believe Given deserves more attention, though. The episodes have been comfy and the serious stuff will come soon. Now that there has been more interaction between Kaji and Haruki I do believe Lerche is gonna add the Ugetsu part soonish.

It's just so weird - i remember Tsurune threads and they were full of fujos getting desperate over their ships and trying to convince everybody that MCs are gay (though it was never confirmed). And in given basically everyone ends up in gay relationship of some sorts, and suddenly they aren't interested.

Ugetsu arc isn't happening. That's way down the line. Anime probably finishes around the end of the concert arc, maybe chapter 13-14.

I'm not sure what you expected? There isn't much to discuss, it's not like you make a BL anime and people automatically are interested and start to make 500 answers replied. Especially because this is a manga adaptation of a BL.

I think rather than it being predictable it's just not the sort of show that warrants a ton of discussion. It's not high-stakes in any way, it's not plot-driven, and it's an adaptation.

There's nothing to guess about. There's nothing to say. It's not bad, it's just not a show that lends itself to a really busy thread.

I got no idea if I can sell you this pairing, but at least what I like of them is the character growth behind. It hasn't been shown until now, but they both admire each other. In Haruki's case, he almost forgets that Kaji is not just a genius but also a man, and Kaji knows of the other's value but he's trapped on his lover's web. After the sexual assault they have a rough time but they both learn about each other and heal their wounds, discovering that together music becomes fun.

At least in the manga their part is full of feelings, and their growth as characters sold me the pair completely.

i'm pretty sure he only has like 2 panels worth of appearances in the next 7-8 chapters which is where the anime adaption will end. bait op appearance
