Ddraig uses a unique technique involving Penetrate into his aura attacks that hits the core of the person even if they block. Ddraig states it's too soon for Issei to learn this technique.
Both Ddraig and Crom are worried they won't be able to finish their fight before the game ends. It's stated that in offensive power alone, Crom is one of the strongest in the tournament (Which is obvious). After Rias is retired, Crom looks at Issei and states that his existence is something of a joke. He has the power of Great Red and Ophis but still only using the power of Ophis. Ddraig replies, "Do you want to fight that "joke" again?". Crom replies yes but he also want to watch over him as he's been influence by the group

Well vol 1 was kind of a homage to the original vol 1 with a lot of throwbacks and parallels showing how far Issei has come. The Raynare of the volume was the goddess Nyx, but the main girl of the volume was a new girl named Ingvild, who's a half human Maou descendant like Vali, except she's from the Leviathan family. She also has a Longinus and at the end of the volume she becomes Issei's queen. As for the rating game tournament, it's as follows so far
