Just turned 29, and I got to thinking at how pathetic I must look still watching anime. Like I'm watching Japanese teen cartoons filled with fan service that's made for hormone driven kids & adolescence.
Is their a certain age where you should just give anime up or am I just overthinking things?

I think at some point you have to grow up and stop consuming as much and become a creator. I too felt frustrated about watching so much anime and playing games but once I started drawing I felt better about my consumption and decreased it overall in favor of creating. I'm slowly getting better at drawing and it's a good feeling

Who the fuck cares how you look? Do you want to watch it or not? Anime is an utterly harmless hobby. Why do you care how you "look" to other people? If they're going to judge you for how you spend your free time, they're the problem.

If you let others dictate how you live life, don't be surprised when you find a stranger you can't stand in front of the mirror, user.
If you are a good person, or you are trying to be a better person, or at the very least you aren't a fucking pain in the ass for everyone around you; then do whatever you want as long as it doesn't hurt you or others, balance does the trick most of the time.
