piano scene was kino

I don't even remember anything about that MC because I don't think he actually had a personality but here I am watching Fate Babylon and I have a question. More like a criticism, actually. Roman Archerman must be like 40-50 years old, right? Give him about a decade for med school, a decade to wander around the planet getting burnt out. Dude looks like he's some highschooler. At least Waver-sensei looks like a grown-ass man in Case Files.

I think he's 20 something

Well, he's a Servant who wished to be incarnated by the Grail, so he's not really gonna age.

I can't figure out by this question if you're aware of Broman's identity or not.

Romani Archaman did everything he needed to do within just ten years.

Give the motherfking tea to someone who has never read the VN or watch the anime.

I always figured it was just Pokemon but with historical figures.

Don't compare yourself to him. He was desperate, more desperate than anyone. So in ten years, he mastered modern medicine, psychology, quantum physics, culture, humanities, history and literature. He dedicated every waking minute of those ten years to it, only sleeping the necessary minimum. He never stopped. Plus he had a bit of a leg up.

Its a story set in a Japanese town about a wizard war for a relic that grants you one wish. 7 wizards each summon a super powered historical[past and future] or fictional figures called servants and then they all duke it out to see who gets the relic. Its supposed to be an international event but due to Japanese nepotism all of the mages are Japanese.

Originally it was very character focused and the servant were essentially a means to an end. Most of the story is focused on the character interactions and the state of their mentality. There are actually lots of worldbuilding and neat implications about mage society and crap. There are also lots of themes like desperation to preserve bloodlines, idealism vs realism and feelings of being a lesser child etc. Im not sure what people liked more or what got it popular in the first place. The characters and the melodrama that actually does evolve and goes places or the over the top magical power level fest between the servants.

There was always a balance between the servant powerlevel fest and the story parts between the non servants but as the franchise got more popular and bigger the focus started shifting from the mages and the themes to the servants and their crazy character designs, quirky personalities and super powers.
Its now a multibillion franchise despite treating non Japanese speakers as second rate customers.

fatemonkeys are retarded

I hope it's at least watchable

It's good and you can literally feel the death throes of the entitled vn-only-fan while the frachise is cutting them away for being cancerous tumors
