Eren might have realized Zeke's plan at the end though because he is making false memories to play mind tricks on Zeke, because Eren most likely seen all of Grisha's memories anyway and now he realized what Zeke's plan is and that he's bluffing so Eren is going to make Zeke join his side with fake memories and since Zeke is a cute emotional aniki he'll fall for it and the wall titans will be released next chapter or the chapter after that.

No established rules are broken, the events of this chapter are built upon premises laid out about Paths throughout each arc.

I know it's a bit much for you but i'l break it down slowly.
There are established rules, these are explained either directly via the writer, or some character who is in the know, through internal monologue, or under some condition in which they couldn't possible by lying.
Example. Bertold explaining reiners consciousness transfer.

Then there are unestablished rules, these are given by character who aren't in the know, it's just there understanding of the world as they see it.
Example. SL thinking titans can't move at night.

Unestablished rules like what SL think is based purely on their experience and observations, it doesn't make it true, and so many scenes are dedicated to subverting what SL originally thought about something.

What Zeke did to Eren is no different from what Zeke did to SL, when he told them those infected by his spinal fluid become paralyzed.
When in reality they wouldn't actually show signs of being infected.

Eren was under the impression, that once he touched someone with Royal blood that HE would be in control of the FT, but unlike Zeke, dina wasn't Sentient so his plan was based on a false premise.
