As an anime only fag, should I read through part 1 to 5 or should I just continue by reading part 6? I am halfway through part 2 and it's pretty much identical.

i enjoyed both watching all the anime first, the pacing is way better in the manga a lot of the time because of WORDSWORDSWORDS

If I was in your place I would read through it just because Araki's writing/paneling style can get convoluted in the more "strange" fights, so if you are not used to it you might miss on some details.
But either way do whatever feels right for you my man.

You can continue by reading part 6. The anime did a good job adapting everything and only really left out some superfluous stuff.

Davidpro are very faithful and remove the jarring artstyle morphing that happens during a part whilst Araki draws it.

You can start by reading part 6. I started reading the manga right after King Crimson was revealed in the anime.

read 1-5 if you just want to see changes in Araki's artstyle, plot-wise the manga and the anime are 99.99% similar. if I were you I'd just start reading part 6

Watch part 1-5 via anime, David Production did a godly adaptation so far on all of them. Skip part 6 because the manga is shit, wait for the anime BUT read part 7. Part 7 has to be read because the anime adaptation will be shit considering the amount of moving objects.

Fucjng retard, just watch Hamon Beat videos on the differences in all adaptations. Then start reading Stone Ocean. SBR best finished part and Jojolion is shaping up to be a ride (wait around 2 years for it to finish though)

The problem is that there is a lot of shit that could go wrong. The animation could get really sloppy all of a sudden and there could be a fuckton of bad CGI everywhere. We will have to wait and see.

This part has too much shit going on for the average budget to handle it and compound that will be 39 episode....it is a wrap.
