I think what upsets me most about S2 is how it squandered S1's strong ending and the things it setup itself.
They didn't tackle Sumeragi's depression.
They barely touched on Nene's motivations and kept her as a generic badguy.
They regressed Ali's character.
They fucking brought back Lock-on.
Louise was completely fucking mishandled and possibly the thing that angers me the most outside of Lock-on.
All these missteps completely ruined everything it had going for itself.
