She should have ignored the filthy 11 and the lowborn lesbian and gotten with her sister to keep the bloodline pure. Maybe then she would have lived.
I thought that she wasn't two dimensional, they bothered to give her a lot of screentime and characterization from the beginning so she didn't just feel like a plot device.
I guess that makes sense, for the purposes of the story a character like that couldn't live.

You got it. Personal morality was one of the major themes, and I dare say every main character had some big change along the way. Euphemia was too stubbornly optimistic.
