I can't help but feel sorry for Kugimiya as a character. This series is filled with so many different perspectives that I can't overlook, and getting the chance to keep up with it is very enjoyable.

Maybe it's just been awhile, but I don't quite understand the "deserter" talk about his partner. Unless it's actually Kugimiya talking about himself, given his wavering heart about it all.
