What's the problem?
Yeah, it's as if Heroic Spirits have an actual use and reason to exist other than fighting among themselves in petty mage squabbles. Who would have known.
it's fucking stupid
mankind's mistakes? what mistakes, its always group A fucks over group B and benefits from it, the thing is both and B are human
They are just returning humanity to what it was. Goetia altered history and killed Alaya with his 7 singularities, which allowed him to incinerate humanity through all history without being stopped
FGO is fucking retarded
It's kusoge designed to take your money, retarded premise is to be expected
>returning humanity to what it was
which is? monkeys in cave?
Yes. You see when Goku summoned his servant One Punch Man he went down to earth and according to keikaku became hokage of kohona village by using a death notebook to kill monkeys that wouldnt evolve into lolis.
Returning mankind to not being a bunch of charred corpses
It's like we are keeping story of our world going forward, Goetia tried to make bad end for us. Basically same concept as playing vn.
Returning it to normal. Without the existence of Chaldea as a facility able to exist outside of temporal fuckery, everything is just magical vapor in the wake of trillions of death rays burning it into more energy
It's more like Time Squad, but with unnecessary macguffins tacked on. Humanities "mistakes" are more like
>The Fuyuki Grail War incinerating the entire city.
>Guille de Gilles de Rais summoning an evil version of his waifu to wage war on all of France
>Whatever happened in Septem and Okeanos.
It's a thin plot.
user it's gacha shit
Yes but it's also TM flagship
FGO killed TM
Sky is blue
Fate as a whole is their flagship series. FGO is just their money printer.
>their flagship series
More like their only series now
in the dub - I watched the first few scenes then got tf out of there when the pink hair girl who ends up getting squished by a giant rock calls the master 'senpai' in this english voice
Remember what it was just a simple Deathmatch for a cup
>>be me
>>watch Fate/Zero in 2011
>>servants are famous people in the past? What dont use them for time traveling shit?
>>Fgo released
>>Oh shit
You understand that the "mistakes" in this context refer to history being maliciously altered by an external party that deleted the human race from existence, yes?
>servants are famous people in the past
Not anymore
Everyone is a servant now, including Tosaka, Kirei, Fujino, Shiki, Arcueid, etc
user, its more like if someone took the work you done in the past and altered them all for his own benefit himself, with the results fucking you over.
Chaldea is going back to fix all the changes.
And best girl
Tohsaka is just her body being used, kirei is rasputin. The other 3 don't have much excuse.
>travel back in time to fix mistakes that were made during the history of humanity
No. They fix Singularities where History had been altered.
>The other 3 don't have much excuse
The Counter Force employing psychics is lore that goes all the way back to Kagetsu Tohya.
Meanwhile, Arc is Mooncell shenanigans.
>Namefag
>Dub
...
Jesus Christ Takeuchi design is ugly
He already mentioned Rin.
aight retard
Arcueid isn't even in game so the OP is a fucking idiot anyway
Arcueid and the Moon Cell have nothing to do with each other. Arcueid's appearance in Fate/EXTRA was just pure fanservice.
>Tiger: "Within the works of TYPE-MOON, even though the worlds often share many common points despite taking place in different mediums, is it true that the Moon Cell only exists in the world of EXTRA?"
>Blossom: "Yes, it doesn't exist in any other world. You could say that Fate/EXTRA is a "what if" type of world. To begin with, if the Moon Cell did exist, the foundations of Tsukihime, which has a similar world structure, would crumble."
>Seibah: "Mu? I'm pretty sure that a Tsukihime character appears in the game, though. Was that merely an illusion?"
>Blossom: "While it wasn't exactly an illusion, it's all completely unrelated to the Human History of Tsukihime. To put it bluntly, it's just fanservice."
>oversized chin
>ears too low and dont align with eyes
>down syndrome nose
>hairline droops on the left (his right)
>eyes too far apart
why cant they find a competent character designer for their multibillion cashcow? isnt the whole appeal of GO the cool and sexy characters anyways
Not mistakes, but abnormalities. In TM there's something called a quantum time lock, or a humanity foundation which is an important event in history that must happen and establishes the human order. Alterations to the very important ranked humanity foundations (for example the early fall of the British Empire) would fuck over history and make the system go haywire.
The enemy of part 1 of Fate/Grand Order metaphorically and literally incinerated history by igniting seven bombs in seven super important foundations so the present and world where Chaldea are disappeared. Chaldea is located in a unique time axis and has a special magnetic field so it was spare for a time.
The enemy of part 2 instead wants to erase the present modern history and replace it with the history of pruned timelines he managed to kept from being deleted, seven Lostbelts struggle which one grow stronger and replace the modern history while Chaldea must taken down and 'deny' them killing all the people inside.
At least that is the immediate threat. Goetia was using the incineration as means for an end, so would be the "God of another planet" (if he's such thing at all, Goetia also claimed to be Grand Caster Solomon first).
>replying to bait
>getting catch by obvious bait
>not saging bait
I never bothered reading the plot but apparently the world is ending soon and they need to fix shit to save themselves.
So pasta for spoiling summerfags
>Roman is first Servant of Chaldea, Solomon
>Roman dies to take away Goetia's powers
>Four is Fourth Beast/Murder of Primates
>Mashu dies stopping Goetia but is resurrected by Fou killing himself
>Gilgamesh dies but resummons himself as Archer
What else should be added here?
Ra-Ra-Rasputin
Add some for Camelot
Anyone on Yea Forums knows going to a thread of anime with source material is going to get spoiled
What if you summon Moses as a servant and he summon the plague on you?

Not only that but he also asked God to bring down the angel of death himself to kill eveey first born.

Okay?
Mashu is Galahad.
Because the original co creator is the character designer
>no single one noticed that time travel is True Magic as was stated in Mahoyo and there is no way for it to be used by literally whos
The absolute state of TM fanbase
Rayshifting isn't time travel
>didnt play the game bc I'm a retard who love isekai: the thread
But rayshift isnt time travel, retard
>implying fixing events in the past by your own hands IS NOT time travel
It id
I've read the story as well as the process in Lostroom material but still, how can Rayshift system (by Marisbilly, not the current system Novum Chaldea are using) be the biggest threat/counter attack to the God of the Foreign Star aka the main villain of Lostbelt arc ?
Rayshifting is an approximate of True Magic.
The greatest irony is that Marisbilly made very close approximates of True Magic with the combination of technology and magecraft, and the guy wasn't even trying to reach the Root
Enkidu is actually a fake using his body, Anna is a younger Medusa/Gorgon, Ushiwaka survives her capture and becomes edgy-evil, Leonidas dies, the big bad of the arc is Tiamat
>an organization that somehow summons all sorts of servants in any numbers uses the fucking time machine to travel back in time to fix mistakes that were made during the history of humanity
Great LN title
>Quaternaries are this retarded
It's just one world-line retard. Counter Guardians already performed the same function in normal Fate, but FGOs world-line is completely fucked.
You forget that this is a franchise where an immortal vampire that likes kaleidoscopes watches every parallel universe at the same time, but makes sure not to look too far forward because of observation/reality rules.
The screenshot of Da Vinci getting killed is the most obvious one.
Babylonia is going to be great thanks to Ishtar and Eresh.
Greek lostbelt soon bros!
Gramps
But would spoiling that be too cruel?
>Are you kidding me?
This part of the Fate franchise has been their biggest stupendous hit financially. So FGO-related concept characters are going to be milked even harder with whatever far-fetched fantasy ideas appeal to the day dreaming people with money to burn.
None of themhave any excuse. It's literally just a vehicle to have popular character designs appear in the game so people will spend more sheckles.
Daybit is Beowulf.
This argument would be great if not for the fact that OP is complaining about the very premise of the story that was established before the game made any money.
Rin love!
Ishtarin, Eresh and Rin are the best!
>this is your brain on /pol/
...
>Fate universe
>Good write

What kind of LOL attack was that? I already like it.
you're stupid, it's' not mankind's mistakes it's mistakes in the time line like how Gilles used a grail to summon an alternative jeanne d'arc.
>FGO thread
>Rinfags come out of the woodworks
I guess it's really true that Rinfags are tertiary newfags.
You have seen the state of Rin threads these last two months with that autist pushing his meme.
Never watched Time Squad or something?
Hold up, Saberbro. I'm a big fan of Rin since I read the original VN long time ago. And while I appreciate the love story between Saber and Shirou, both healing their wounds and the tragic love story story between Shirou and Sakura (both individuals with deep scars that seek comfort in each other), the story of Rin in UBW is not only my favorite but I also adore her participation in the other two routes, from mentor and friend in Fate to trying to play the role of a cold magus that also wants to help her sister in HF.
>saberfag trying to start shit in a fgo thread
Hold, my brother. We must not sully her name by partaking in such a petty squabble.
Is my wife gonna be in this?
That's literally the reason why they are summoning servants you retard.
well, it's not like they actually used it before the world was destroyed
by mistake they mean things that can destroy history as we know it
Is the loli Circe? Where are the other Argonauts?
loli medea
I wish it was actual story.
Currently he have servants digging earth with spoons in attempt to brak frop magical irish prison ruled by s&m slut. In a race contest again each other.
I went in expecting Fate, and got Carnival Phantasm, but more stupid.

>old typemoon good
>new typemoon bad
what
Uraburcher good!
Nasu bad!
No.
Why are you being intentionally obtuse?
A certain mage went back in time and altered parts of history, infusing them with tons of magic and fucking everything up, so that he could obliterate humanity in 2017. The Master (you) and Chaldea's goal is to kill this mage and restore history to what it should be. Unless of course you think a bodybuilder with the head of a lion using mass produced robots to fight an army of celts led by a massive whore and a half lizard spearman across the enitre united states is okay to leave as is.
>The other 3 don't have much excuse.
They are collab characters.
The game is retarded from the get go though since money is more important than consistency or making sense.
Wasn't the whole destabilization of the human history just to kill/deactivate Alaya so no Counter Guardians would suddenly appear to resist him against his Human Order incineration NP?
I am
>all this years.

what mistakes?
the first part is about stoping a inhuman terrorist
I mean, he probably doesn't have time to improve because he's busy being the CEO. And they sure as hell aren't going to hire someone else to be CEO of Type-Moon, and that would be complete lunacy to do.
how are these bad? please tell user!
Are you blind or just pretend?
How did a fucking porn game managed to print billions?
I hate him more for ruining endings because he's a fucktard than him putting out consistently boring art for boring servants.

It quite literally was, user. Let us not deny our origins for there is nothing to be ashamed of.
How new are you?

>Takeuchi need get a free pass.
Will we finally see Archer Herc? And not the weird one that's in SF.
you forgot the prison warden pissed really hard one time and formed 3 rivers while fergus watched
Yes It was. That was basically the only way to get the word out on your work at the time.
It's because his designs are good. Everyone loves the look of the Valkyries.
I remember people bitching how Fergus acted at the end of Argatha despite that's the way he was actually portrayed in mythology.
There's more writing and text in this event than the vast majority. It starts it with like an hour straight of team introductions to characters we are already familiar with.
This is easily my least favorite event thus far. It's just so long-winded and keeps wasting my time.
Huh? You mean like a pervert? He's always been a pervert in FGO.
Nero fest had an half an hour long introduction and that event literally had no story.
I don't remember that at all, but I'll take your word for it. I skip most scenes that have anything to do with Nero anyway, for obvious reasons.
I'd still rather take one half-hour introduction and then nothing over an hour followed by like 14 10-minute segments over the course of a week, though.
Literally who the fuck gives a shit about Fate/Go's story unironically. People also act like Camelot and Babylon are "high" points when it's still absolute garbage. Faggots will still eat this shit up when they asspull Caren Hortensia being a demiservant or Marie comes back somehow
Would you take a job in chaldea if you got a servant based on compatibility but only one life and you have to help guda fix the singularities?
Yeah, Guda is an okay guy/girl. And getting a Servant based on compatibility would mean having someone I can genuinely get along with.
A friend would be worth it.
That stops being true later. The writers finally gave up trying to explain why events randomly happen while they're driving through the sea of imaginary numbers, so now every event takes place "during Epic of Remnant, except the characters are semi aware of the lostbelt stuff and characters from it appear".
Singularity F Holy Grail War:
>Saber: King Arthur
>Archer: Emiya
>Lancer: Musashibou Benkei
>Rider: ????
>Caster: Cu Chulainn
>Assassin: Hassan of the Cursed ARm
>Berserker: Heracles
>Archer: "Well done, Mage of Flowers! Who knew her Noble Phantasm could be used that way!"
>Saber: "—Hmph. Unbeknownst to me, my power has weakened. I stayed my hand at the very last moment. I was going to defend the Holy Grail to the end, but I lost because my tenacity wavered. Ultimately, no matter how my fate changes, I will always meet the same end if I'm alone."
>Caster: "What's that supposed to mean? Bastard, what do you know?"
>Saber: "Eventually, you too will realize it, Ireland's Child of Light. The Grand Order---the battle to obtain the Holy Grail has only just begun."
>Lev: "Ah, is this singularity at its limit? ...Cursed Saber. If you'd just obeyed, you would have been allowed to live. Even after being granted the Holy Grail, she caused trouble by wanting to sustain this era."
Emiya's comment about the Mage of Flowers is especially interesting. That implies that Merlin was somehow involved with Singularity F. I completely overlooked that part.
Maybe Rider was Iskander. Based on absolutely nothing at all, but the slot is open.
Wasn't Medusa the Lancer and Darius III the Rider?
>Rider: ????
medusa probably
Those were changes made for First Order. In the original Singularity F in Fate/Grand Order, Lancer was Benkei.
I wonder if the Babylon anime will acknowledge the change.
so glad type-moon is taking steps to wash away these mentally ill idiots that literally hate anything fate related after the VN
>Emiya's comment about the Mage of Flowers is especially interesting. That implies that Merlin was somehow involved with Singularity F.
It's a dumb mistranslation pun of "druid", he's talking about Cu.
wow, they dumb.
Rider was Darius III. He's also eligible for that class aside from Berserker. Plus the horns gave it away.
In the game, it was Heracles. He's a subquest and since he wasn't defeated during the initial run through the Singularity, he's still there after Saber Alter was defeated. Emiya's second Interlude involves taking him down for good.
No, it is to screw the Quantum Time Locks and allow him to return to the time of creation 4 billions years ago.
Someone didn't enjoy Time Squad when they were an infant
>Heroic Spirits willingly acting subservient to lesser humans with nothing in exchange
Isn't the whole point of the HGW that Heroic Spirits wouldn't be summoned or obey without being tricked into thinking the Grail would grant them a wish?
Not necessarily. If you look at just the Fifth War alone, you know that isn't necessarily true. All the Servants have different reasons for responding to the summons.
>Saber: Wants the Holy Grail.
>Archer: Wants to kill himself.
>Lancer: Wants to fight strong opponents.
>Rider: Specifically responded to her Master, to whom she feels an affinity towards.
>Caster: Just responded to a summons but had no real interest in the grail.
>Assassin: Was forced to play gatekeeper for Caster. His only interest in the war is in fighting Saber.
>True Assassin: Wants the Holy Grail.
>Berserker: Only responded to the Master's summons.
Then you have the Fourth War:
>Saber: Same.
>Archer: Entertainment.
>Lancer: Wants to serve his lord properly this time.
>Rider: Wants to take over the world.
>Caster: Wants to see the world burn.
>Assassin: Wants the Holy Grail.
>Berserker: AAAARRRRRTTTTTHHHUUUUURRRRR
Then there's EXTRA, where Servants take part in the Moon Holy Grail War purely because they took a liking to their respective Master candidates. EXTRA's Holy Grail War is unique in that the Servants are the ones who choose their Masters. They want to serve someone they chose themselves. They don't necessarily get anything out of the Holy Grail War in and of itself, so it's really the Master they want. The chance to fight against other Servants is also fun.
Most Heroic Spirits understand what they are and what their relationship to their Master is, so they usually act with a professional sense of loyalty.
can someone explain how different is lancer artoria?
Lancer Artoria lost Excalibur and Avalon, so they can now age normally. They instead use the spear Rhongomyniad. The Lancer Artoria of camelot singularity had been wielding the spear for so long that it had slowly took over her mind and replaced her with the will of the spear itself, turning her into Goddess Rhongomyniad
Lancer favored Rhongomyniad over Excalibur. Originally, she wasn't supposed to age at all after drawing Caliburn, but Rhongomyniad's properties interfered with that so she grew in various ways. Perhaps as a result of the differences in hormones, she became a little more feminine personality-wise. Where the Saber version is an idealist, Lancer is said to be more of a realist.
One of the side effects of Rhongomyniad is that it can, through prolonged contact, slowly turn its user into a divine spirit, a god. After a couple hundred years of wandering with Rhongomyniad in the Camelot Singularity, she eventually became Goddess Rhongomyniad, losing her humanity in the process.
Lancer Alter is a version of Lancer who, in order to escape the corruptive influences of Rhongomyniad, used her connection to the Holy Grail to become the embodiment of the Wild Hunt.
so she's acts similar to regular saber mostly?
how's she to her master?
She's a little colder and a little more aloof, but that's mostly due to the effects of the lance. She's not at a level where's she's completely lost her humanity. She's generally friendly. She even says she'd be sad if Master hated her.
Of course, despite memes, she has nothing to say to Mordred.
Its not mistakes in normal history, retard. Sometimes time gets fucked up and people try to rewrite the past or fuck up the past. Singularities pop up throughout history sometimes and you have to stamp them out when they appear. Time is like a pizza dough, sometimes it gets bubbles it it, you gotta pop them before they ruin it.
Chaldea fixes shit when normal history gets fucked up, with can potentially rewrite all of time if they don't stop it.
Why didn't Romani adopt Olga while he was at it?

Turns out the world is in a dire situation. Most Heroic Spirits are actual heroes who would eagerly jump at the chance of saving the world. Those who aren't, either like the MC enough to want to help him or want to be summoned in order to enjoy being alive again and do what they like to do.
And that the Guda isn't an asshole mage helps in endearing him to most Heroic Spirits.

Are people falseflagging, or are they actually this dumb?
Considering that every event you will have people asking basic shit that the in-game news already explain, I'd say some people are just dumb.
Olga is a bitch.
FGO servants are called to protect the humanity.
They explain how grail wars work in FGO more. There have been many variations of grail wars across time, history, various worlds, ages. Each one has its own personal rules. All these wars derrived from the planets defense, where the planet summons seven grand servants in the past to protect against a threat to the entire planet. The planet can summon its own stash of servants special servants in a case where the entire world is about to be destroyed somehow, like how it summoned grand saber to deal with Sephar in the past.
Grand servants are the original servants, the strongest servants of each class. Magus saw the grand ritual of the world and they thought "I can probably use this", and so they developed their own variation upon the concept. The idea of summoning servants could be used for various benefits and untold power, of course magus wanted to co-opt it. The idea of how they could possibly use this idea was passed along through the ages and used in various ways, Zelretch passed it along to the three families. But the Fuyuki war was never anything special, it was just another version of a grail war throughout various worlds.
Although normal servants can only be summoned in a place where a grail is present. The reverse is also true in FGO, as long as a grail is present, servants are sure to be summoned somehow, since the grail wishes for someone to claim it.
Actual text from game about it
>Andersen: I learned that a vessel for the Holy Grail was built in that city, then Heroic Spirits were summoned with the power of the Grail and made to compete against each other Servants. That contrivance struck me as bizarre. The concept of Heroic Spirits fighting one another is itself flawed. There has to be some higher level, some background to it that we don’t know. And that’s the information I fished for at the Magic Association. The results were as expected. It appears that the Spirit Manifestation Ritual — Heroic Spirit Summoning — was originally intended to gather seven powers against a single great force. There is absolutely no way that the seven Heroic Spirits were meant to fight each other. Heroic Spirit Summoning and the Holy Grail War are rituals that use the same system, but they fall under different “genres,” so to speak. The Holy Grail War ritual was designed for the benefit of human magi. In contrast, its basis, Heroic Spirit Summoning, was originally intended to throw humanity’s seven greatest heroes against a single, titanic foe.
This portion of it was distorted in the Holy Grail War of Fuyuki.
>…Does that apply to you and the others, Andersen?
>…Um, so what does it all mean?
>[1] Andersen: Yeah. Originally, only seven Heroic Spirits were meant to be summoned, and any after that… Well, in any case, we’re a bunch of cheap, useful familiars.
>[2] Andersen: …The Holy Grail War ritual was based on something else. That’s all you need to know for now.
>Dr. Roman: Hmm, hmm! I see, I see! Quite thought-provoking! From the beginning, Chaldea couldn’t create a system to summon Heroic Spirits. We analyzed the Fuyuki ritual, then improved and stabilized it. But in the end, it still can’t be considered the original.
No, most Holy Grails had nothing to do with Heroic Spirits. The Einzberns, Makiri and Tohsaka were the first ones to use the original Grands as a blueprint to use for their Holy Grail War. All other Holy Grail Wars use the Fuyuki Heaven's Feel ritual as as the model.
Mooncell has been doing it longer, so it can't be the first.
The Mooncell devised its Holy Grail War with the Fuyuki Heaven's Feel ritual as the base. That's why so many elements of the SE.RA.PH Holy Grail are ripped straight from Fate/stay night, especially most of the NPCs.
For all their elitism, Yea Forums is pretty retarded.
Yea Forums was always retarded, it's just the least retarded place to talk about anime compared to anywhere else
>Well, in any case, we’re a bunch of cheap, useful familiars.
That's a pretty interesting point about the original heroic summoning. You have a bunch of candidates or not even candidates but a collection of servants that could be choosen as the one fit for the Grand Class. From that collection only one is chosen for one of the seven classes the world originally created.
Grand Caster for example was Solomon and the servants we usually summon or we see are just part of that huge collection but not the one the world took as their Grand and even if you were able to summon him, he would be summoned with a Saint Graph of lesser quality.
Typically the ones I see as the most elitist usually haven't read shit. They just pretend the hardest that they've read shit in order to fit in and feign authority.
They did Jason absolutely fucking wrong.
You say that, but he's very popular. Japs cheered like crazy when he was revealed.
Supposedly he gets his big moment in LB5 when he beats Odysseus through cunning.
Jason's the type who only shows his stuff when he's backed into a corner. Normally he's a loser, but when things get real, he become an obscenely talented commander to the point that even people who hate him would suck it up and follow his orders without complaint. Plus, he'd even use himself as a resource if he believes it'd enhance their chances of victory. Basically, he's one of those "He's amazing when it counts, but worthless when it doesn't" types.
Back in his prime, every day was a desperate struggle to survive, so he probably spent a good chunk of those times at peak competence. Forming the Argonauts was when he was at his brightest. The reason he was such a pathetic loser in the second Singularity was because he had the advantage for most of it. He's strongest as the underdog and weakest when he's clearly the one in power.
Fuck Greece
Fuck Rome
Fuck Scandinavia
Fuck Russia

This is the only part I agree with.
Isn't that part fake or it just mentions Odysseus, not LB5 ? Btw Corday killed Odysseus in LB5, it seems like DW forgot to hide this part of her profile
>Her second life started from a place of despondency and resentment. Because, judging by the knowledge installed in her, her assassination was not enough to change history, nor anything she can claim to have changed the world for the best.
>Consenquently, from the very moment she's summoned, she's already starting to self-depracatingly lower herself.
>As she fights alongside the Master, she slowly regains her former cheerfulness.
>In the Greece Losbelt, she was unfortunately summoned by Oddysseus, and subsconsciously acted as a spy, but she was freed when the Zeus Nanomachines were exterminated. She managed to assassinate Oddysseus completely unaided. She feels a faint love for the Master, and although she tried to hide it, at the verge of her annihilation she loses the memories of her decision to hide it, and thoughtlessly blurts it out. Her love dissappeared along with the sunset, without ever growing ripe.
Jason also has a hidden data entry
I wouldn't be surprised if Jason beats Odysseus. Odysseus probably has an even bigger ego than Jason does, and his ego is consistently his Achilles' heel. He could have avoided so much pain if he'd just kept that under check. Everything that went wrong in his life is squarely his own fault.
It doesn't mention anything about LB5 but yes Odysseus's name is here so i have no idea what will happen in LB5...
Loli Vinci also has hidden profile too and based from the wording, it seems like she is going to die soon
Jason is Kaiji.
>Greek LB getting BTFO'd by fucking Jason and no name Frenchie
lmao Nasu really need to keep his continental yurop hateboner in check.
Ah fuck it does say Greece Lostbelt. My mistake then, sorry.
When this part hits Yea Forums is going to lose it's shit
Here's your Greek god patheon bro
Yeah, over the shitty CG I bet. Overlord 2.0 here we come.
skip button is literally for people making alt accounts to cheese specific fights and make meme videos
Hm. Is the bottom left Hermes? Or perhaps Orpheus? If it were Orpheus, I'd expect the presence of a lyre. I can't tell who the one in the center is.
Top right seems like it might be Aphrodite, but maybe not. She seems like prime bitch material, though.
BL say that blonde guy could be Theseus given by his description in Circe's interlude.
Damn, so no Orpheus then? I've been waiting for an Orpheus HS for so long.
I mean that description is quite vague so we can't confirm anything by now
It says a lot that Babylonia was specifically pointed out by Lev/Goetia as way too extreme for even them.
So wait, is the top left Odysseus? He doesn't seem to be that arrogant. At the very least, he doesn't seem like someone who'd loudly declare: "See all this! I did it! The gods didn't do shit, it was all me!" and then get Poseidon on his ass for a couple years.
Then again, Paris doesn't seem the type who'd start a war over a woman and then rape her, so. You know.
Yeah, FGO is shit.
We still don't know his true identity but he got his own TVCM in last year youtube.com
fgo is shit.
>>non-canon event meant for players to take a break
If by "take a break" you mean "force you to grind for 3 hours to be able to afford (1) material you need" then yeah what a lovely break please don't whip me to get back into completing the story within a time limit again!
It'll be CGI lol
no it doesn't.
What are you going to do during Solomon arc 2.0, when everyone shows up again? Say "....that doesn't count. I still don't like it".
It's Ajax since Odysseus is a super computer or something in Nasuverse
What, so that tiny buckler on his back is Rho Aius? Also, if Odysseus is a supercomputer, why was his life so filled with mistakes?
Nasu hates Greeks
if zeus is nanomachines why did greek mythology happen?
I don't think Nasu hating Greeks has anything to do with how much of a colossal fuckup Odysseus was. The Odyssey is basically a story of how one man's ego fucks everything up for everyone and ruins everything.
user if you can't handle mild, minimal grinding
within a 2 week timeframe then fgo is not a game you should be playing
>mild, minimal
I can finish a JRPG from start to finish in 2 weeks.
Why does it have to take 2 weeks of constant farming to be able to afford this in game bullshit?
>LB5's name got changed: "Interstellar City Mountains - ■■■■■■" to "Ancient Titans' Ocean" - Atlantis"
>OP2, Lostroom material and LB2 confirmed Lostbelt 5's in the sea
>Lostbelt PV shows something looks like the Moon (pic related)
>Atlantis in JP is "アトランティス" which doesn't fit the original location "■■■■■■"
>Mount Olympus in JP is オリンポス山 or オリュンポス
Will LB5 be two-parts chapter ?
>Gil?
DEEN/Stay Night's OST blows Zero's out of the water.
DEEN's Gil theme is still the best character theme in the franchise and perfectly exemplifies both that he is a king and how powerful he is.
youtube.com
It's a pretty inflexible theme, though. It's not the kind of thing you can use for a climactic fight. That's why they made a new Enuma Elish theme for him for CCC.
will Lahmus and Taimat being in bad CGI ruin the babylon anime?
Is Red Man butthurt about working with Chaldea, or are the benefits better than his usual Counter Guardian gig?
It's an excellent gig. He's still Shirou at his core so he loves taking care of others. He's one of the five Servants in charge of the cafeteria, alongside Tamamo Cat, Boudica, Benienma and I think Ryougi Shiki. He's considered to be the most overprotective Servant in all of Chaldea, a holdover from Fate/EXTRA. For Valentine's Day, he gives you a handmade beginner's cooking set. He teaches you about Servants, particularly their attributes. He's warm and supportive like any good mother should be.
Every servant you summon stays in Chaldea cooking or being a NEET, Red Man is one of the cooks while his shadow clone does the work.
FGO servants are one dimensional because they shit out tons of them every month there is no room for development
Even more so, all of them blindly love their Master who barely does anything which doesn't help
FGO is an insult to entire Fate series
>literally get to be a superhero, fighting against a big bad that's trying to end humanity
>kill monsters and shit, not innocent humans
>allowed to cook in sparetime
>lots of familiar faces to talk with
>Even more so, all of them blindly love their Master who barely does anything which doesn't help
They don't love Guda they rather fuck the other servants than them.
You mean Quetz.
Anne and Mary(Summer version) have a threesome with the mc for the valentines event
If anything, his first interlude seems to imply that he likes Holy Grail Wars. Given his circumstances, he's probably only summoned by Masters with natures he'd approve of. Being able to fight for someone he wants to take care of is probably ideal for him.
Isnt that like, the counter-guardian's job? To stop people from destroying humanity? Funny how they seem to be on vacation in FGO...
EMIYA and every servant you summon don't go with you though unless stated otherwise because in story it states that the servants you use in battle are just shadow clones while the real servants just hang around in Chaldea doing whatever.
>One servant
>during valentine
That doesn't mean they don't exist, just look at Hinako and Bryn
Well, they can come with you but I guess it's best to limit the number of Servants who are Rayshifted for whatever reason.
How can one user be this unbelievably brainlet
I want a comfy SOL set in Chaldea
That was 2 years ago now most servants don't really care about the Gudas and after that most recent servants stop caring about (you) and don't love you at all. The only servant they made for (you) this year is Charlotte
It's suppose to explain why we can't unga bunga the singularity because the clones have a fraction of the real deal's true power.
Why not? Greek and Chinese Divinity is foreshadowed to be kind of mechanical. Plus Quetz and co are alien bacteria.
How's that a bad thing though
That so? My King of Heroes is slaughtering everything pretty easily though.
You are correct. It works like this. For Goetia to be able to carry out his plan of travelling back to the beginning of creation and making a planet where the flaw that is death is no longer present, he needs an enormous amount of energy--so much energy that incinerating the entire planet and everything on it is not enough. However, if he burns the planet starting from the present and going backwards towards the past for 3000 years until the time of King Solomon, he can easily obtain the required energy. The only problem is that attempting to act on such a plan would immediately result in the strongest Counter Guardians showing up and beating your ass into oblivion. Therefore, much like how HIV renders you helpless by first going after the T-cells that are your body's principal defense mechanism, Goetia decides to first attack the Human Order in order to prevent it from retaliating against him. He embeds Demon Gods in the magus bloodlines created by Solomon, all of which are programmed to become active at specific periods in history and to take actions that will overturn seven of the key cornerstones of human history. This attack on the Human Order happens at the same instant in meta-time and is completely successful in preventing Goetia from being able to immediately carry out his incineration plan.
It is also why in most worlds, the events of Grand Order do not happen. Lev Lainur, who is the host of the Demon God that becomes active in 2015, is unwilling to go along with Goetia's plans and foils them by committing suicide.
Hell yeah.
Don't really remember the 1st part but in the 2nd part, Loli Vinci can only protect 3 Saint Graphs during a Zero Sail (Holmes, Captain and another servant depends on that chapter). We can only summon more servants after arriving to that Lostbelt (for example in LB4, Karna and Rama got summoned but they don't have any memories of Chaldea so we had to give them a quick rundown)
They can add development later and that's what makes it so great. FGO is the best thing to happen to fate because it allows flexibility while also moving away from bitter, angry otaku that think they own the franchise for reading the VN
How can anyone who played the FSN VN like the anime adaptations? They remove all the magecraft worldbuilding, SoL character interactions and inner monologue of shirou. It makes people dont get whats good about FSN and think it's just hurr durr servants fighting and power levels
Didn’t even realize the magic switch in the anime.
Magic circuits, crests, and spells were barely explained. Mana and od wasn’t addressed. Grail war rules and spirits is minimized in the anime. Reality marbles/boundary fields are barely even explained.
The thing that managed them was on the verge of being fucked with Goetia's attack, and plain doesn't exist in the Lostbelts because mankind is so fucked in them that the World no longer recognizes humans as the dominant species.
That's why we're able to ignore so many rules that used to bind Servants like no gods, no extra classes and no bullshit OC donut steel amalgamations.
He spends all his time in Chaldea cooking
Chaldea kitchen staff main members are Redman, Tamamo Cat, and Boudica. Sometimes Raikou as well.
>add development later
Lol
Before FGO came out, if someone had suggested the plot of "mage goes back in time to alter history and destroy humanity", they would have been laughed at by the whole fandom because "lol counter guardians".
one could argue that Alaya would notice a mage trying to destroy the human foundation and send counter guardians anyway.
Because CGs are weaker than servants and they're only good for cleaning up Primate Murder's poop or killing terrorists. They're useless as fuck now.
yeah why didn't a any counter guardians just show up before Lev bombed Chaldea and killed him
Usually you only get one or two Servants for (you) per year. 2016 was Eresh, 2017 were Melt and Jalter, 2018 was, dunno, BB, Okita Alter?
Also they are getting more blatant that the eggplant is the true Guda endgame. I guess that's why you don't get as many Servants wanting to suck your dick nowadays.
Lev is stronger than a counter guardian and most servants, it's been explained in the F/Z crossover that they're just jannies.
Jeanne Alter was released in 2016
Not a threat to humanity. Its just a bomb.
Reason it can't get involved in the Grand Order is because Alaya and Gaia are apparently blind to things that happen inside of singularities, since they're disconnected from the world entirely. Gaia can't even do shit about Beasts hiding in Singularities, until they come out of the singularity
As long as you're hiding outside of normal time and space, Alaya can't touch you.
Alaya isn't stupid though after this many singularities have popped up, so it just shoved a bunch of counter guardians into Chaldea and told them to help you out. Since Alaya reconizes that you're solving shit right now. We have about seven guardians in Chaldea now.
>They are described as passive spirals of energy that respond to threats of planet destruction or human extinction.
So the Counter Force can only react to threats that already happened ?
That guy is full of shit anyway. FGO has actually been pretty good about releasing interesting characters and integrating them with the story. Salieri, Izou, Abigail, Qin, and Tomoe are all FGO originals they have released within the last two years that are really well done.
Yes
>popping bubbles in your pizza dough
I've never done this...
My God, user. You've revealed worlds hitherto unknown to me.
The Counter Force did respond though, just not with Counter Guardians because that isn't appropriate to the level of threat. It was presumably the Counter Force made Guda randomly become drowsy at the meeting where Olga was speaking, which in turn caused him to be kicked out, have a meeting with Roman, and delayed Roman from being in the Command Room for long enough that he wasn't a casualty when Lev's bomb went off.
my point is how come Alaya doesn't just send counter guardians to before the demons create the singularites you know kill them before they can enact their plan? Also though it may have been just a bomb apperantly in the other timelines lev foils the whole plot by committing suicide so stopping him stops everything Yeah a counter guardian but can't Alaya just send as many as needed
Because the CF can never act "before something happens" it can only act afterwards. However it cannot act against a singularity since it can't verify it. CF is autistic. That's why so many demons and beasts manage to outwit it and create work arounds.
He's fine with it, because it's the kind of high-concept saviour stuff he signed up for. It's just that everyone there knows he's secretly a huge womaniser. Cu has it worst since he kind of hated a lot of the people from his original myth and he's irritated that he has to contend with the 5th HGW crew again. It's so bad that even when an alternate version of him seems to save the day his victory is immediately made worse when one of the major villains steps out of the shadows to make everything worse after he returns to the throne.
Wasn't Guda still drowsy because of how they drugged and kidnapped him?
>implying SoL in Fate is great
Imagine enjoying hours of cooking explained in details, sure what I play Fate for, geee
I don't think the Counter Force works like that. It's often pretty passive, but I think there would have been better methods it could have used. Guda was the underdog from start to finish anyway. That was more of a convenient coincidence that the Counter Force took advantage of.
I don't think Cu Chulainn hates Emiya that much anymore. It's like they've been summoned into the same things so often that they just got used to it. They're surprisingly chummy in Extella.
They are to busy adding more new servants to wank to rather than developing old ones
>Napoleon and Bryn in LB2
>Lakshmibai in LB4
>currently nonstop spamming Panhistory servants in LB5
>Alaya doesn't exist in LB3 and i already forgot LB1 (iirc Beowulf and Billy?)
Alaya is still working anons
No. Guda signed on for the Master job because they promised him big cash. We still don't know why he fainted out of the blue.
The moment in FGO where Emiya Alter had to disconnect a few hundred mostly dead basement orphans from life support, then go into despair and kill himself by trying to fight you was pretty good.
Femto-kun here might be Odysseus. Some are speculating Hades or Zeus but I’m more inclined to think blond kid is Zeus. Although the hacked data mentions Zeus Nanomachines so Femto might still be Zeus’s robot form pre-ascension.
They're the types who get excited during big events so maybe they couldn't sleep the night before.
It's weird how none of that really matters in the Babylonia or Camelot Singularities.
Last vestiges of Alaya before it died sent heroic spirits to all the LBs to help you out when you got there, or something.
It sent Billy and Beo to help you in LB1
Alaya was dead in LB3, but when you gave hope to the populace again and reignited the spirit of humanity, suddenly heroic spirits were able to be summoned again. Which is when Chen and Red Bu showed up.
Yeah the cooking added character just like what these entitled VN-fans wanted. Oh but it isnt edgy or cool enough so it's not approved
doesn't the demon pillar gods arriving at different times and places in human history count as something happening the counter force sounds pretty useless.
I remember reading somewhere that they scouted the Guda in a blood transfusion campaign, and they pestered him to join to the point of following him to his house.
Why the fuck was he sleeping on the floor anyways?
Don't but Alter in the same group. That's Worst Timeline Emiya. He's in a different class entirely. Forget hating his job so much that he wants to kill his past self for signing up for it, he's so far gone that he's completely fine with any of it. Doesn't matter how many people he slaughters. This is the guy who slaughtered scores of innocent people just to get to one person. He's all the most painful parts of Heaven's Feel, amplified by tend and wrapped up into a nice black package with gold ribbons.
Olga was in her late teens by the time Roman came back from his Twice-esque global tour.
>when you gave hope to the populace again and reignited the spirit of humanity
Spartacus's sacrifice is still one of my favorite moments in LB3
Those are singularities. It's like how the magus association and church can't do anything about the alsberry ritual, because all the individual actions are just done by normal humans, and not demons.
The ones who set up the singularities were people who were from the bloodlines of Solomon and had the aspect of a demon in them, which compelled them to do it, just like what Lev did. Each of them just had to do one or two things each generation, which was complete when Lev finished the action. Which started a chain reaction throughout all of humanity backwards, going back to the first actions that were set up.
They didn't "arrive" anywhere; they were always present in the magic circuits of select magus lineages.
Uh its hte other way round, CGs are many times stronger than servants. Most servants are weaker than they were when they were alive, and CGs are supposed to take on humanity ending threats.
I hope Hades is a huge waifu fag for Persephone because he was the only (mostly) monogamous one out of the Big 3 Greek Gods. I mean, his myth was practically what Beauty & the Beast was based on.
To be fair he did that because he knew how much of a threat Kiara was. It broke him but the woman had the potential to outright end mankind in a most degenerate way.
LB3 was my favorite Lostbelt because of Spartacus and Lelouch. They really made the Lostbelt stand out.
Actually the CF can, its implied or stated in some works that the CF kills off most mages before they can access the root and obtain true magic because Alaya thinks its too dangerous or something.
Except Persephone doesn't like him.
He apparently "fainted" after getting woozy in the Simulation room.
I can't choose my most favorite Lostbelt between LB1 and LB4 but yes LB3 has some great parts. I like Xiang Yu's death scene too.
Nah, there was most likely something different about him even before then. The normal Emiya would at least try to keep the bloodshed to a minimum. In spite of his cynicism, he's someone who still wants to save everyone at his core. Alter most likely had already submerged himself to the logical extremes of his ideals before then. He's a wholesale reference to Heaven's Feel, particular that one certain ending.
He has no damn circuits pretty much, fainted using them for the first time. Lev says straight out the reason you fainted was because you were weak as shit and had no real magic, so you lost consciousness.
All you have is rayshifting compatibility
You lack even basic magical ability and can't use circuits properly
Goetia struck all seven points in time "simultaneously" and collapsed the CF "before" it could react. He's the Observer on Timeless Temple, don't think about it.
If Guda didn't have circuits, they wouldn't be able to supply mana to their Servants. Even if they're connected to Merlin, the mana still has to pass through their body first. The reason Guda fainted was because they'd literally never used their circuits before, and suddenly they're open full-force. Shirou had similar issues when he used his circuits for the first time.
How does Lev bombing chaleda start a chain reaction through time or did he do something else as well
His bombing Chaldea was really only to get rid of a nuisance.
Wait a minute, isn't Lev bombing stuff not relevant to Goetia's plan and he just did it because of his own autism ?
it's like a dream gig for him
he gets to save the world without any string attached, no risk to running in himself and having time suicide tendencies (even if muramasa eventually gets releases, it's not the same), can cook once again
He has an Animusphere hateboner. At least the Demon God Pillar side of him does. It was just a huge middle finger to the Animuspheres and to stop them from rayshifting to stop Goetia.
>king of warriors
Oh I know him he's one of my favorite male fate character
Lev deciding to let the demon pillar in him take action instead of an heroing like other timelines is why goetia's plans can happen. That's what the bombing is, Lev basically pushing to stop the grand order.
>"A fight against oneself? No, forget it. No good will ever come of that."
He wouldn't fight himself even if Shirou did show up. He's learned from his mistakes. He doesn't even seem to show much hostility towards Alter.
Him, Siegfried and Emiya are three of a kind.
okay but what the hell kinda of action did the demon pillar do that starts a chain reaction backwards through time
Chaldea itself handles the mana supply to the servants. No modern mage could support the 300+ servants that have been summoned. Guda(ko) basically has enough circuits and mana to equip a mystic code and connect a contract.
So which theory about this chick you think is the most believable one?
I think her being Olga is the most sensible, she's really concerned about mash and ritsuka
seto kaiba
When they're at Chaldea it's fine, but when they're on the field, Guda has to act as a conduit for the magical energy. That's why Guda can faint if the Servant overdoes it. Unleashing Heracles full force basically knocks them straight out.
I think it was Solomon gathering seven grails (the ones you collect throughout the singularities) and using them as a massive power source to nuke all of humanity through past, present and future at the same time. I don’t think the Pillars themselves did much beyond manifesting in the proper years and setting up the Geotia incineration. Flauros manifested in 2015 but some others may have manifested earlier to set this up.
Hence the "counter". They're like the clean-up crew. Once the threat presents itself fully, the counter-force moves to see what it can do.
Like in the Kara no Kyoukai movie where it possesses Shiki to kill the priest guy.
Don't forget the mysterious basement that got mentioned in LB1, and Area 51 is the only place that hasn't been turned on this Earth.
>Then, the scene moves to detail the notes of a researcher in 2016. The notes tell of [Specimen: E] being moved to a base 18 hours after the observation in New Mexico. The researcher is extremely excited: this is the greatest achievement since the Roswell Incident in 1947. The specimen is dying and in a state where it is unable to survive without human assistance. More importantly, it's undoubtedly a sapient lifeform alien to humanity. Its form and structure are incomprehensible; a monstrous shape that looks like it came out of the sort of film featuring visitors from outer space.
>The mission of the researcher was to resuscitate this "friend" from a far off world and establish communication with it. The staff are all fired up and eager to help, but there is one thing that the researcher regrets. It is that this cannot be disclosed to the outside world. This project is classified at the highest levels and cannot be made public until it is complete. And so, in this underground facility, they have to continue their vigil and medical care of this unknown lifeform, which resembles the root of a tree.
I don't think that was possession. "Ryougi Shiki" herself just can't stand Araya Souren.
It didn't. Lev's task was to destroy 2016 and Goetia didn't give a shit about Chaldea, him bombing Chaldea was just his own personal business because he was trying to stop Marisbury's autism.
It did create a chain reaction back into time, starting with 2016 and going back to the start of human history. That's literally Goetia's entire plan that he explains to you. Lev's actions were meant to light the spark that goes back thousands of years and burns through human history, using the actions that the other demon pillars already planted through out time as a guide post to destroy the most important periods in human history. That's literally the plan. To burn all of human history backwards starting with 2016 until it hit ancient babylon.
You retconned each destruction of humanity, so the damage was undone.
While where on the subject why didn't he just warn everyone about Marisbury's plan instead of siding with a fucking demon how dumb is he
>which resembles the root of a tree
Exdeath confirmed
He was already possessed by a demon at that point. In other timelines Lev apparently commits suicide to stop the possession but here he got employed by Chaldea instead and failed to sudoku in time.
yeah but the point is in this timeline he didn't cause he sided with demon if he had enough control left commit suicide he should of been able to war everyone
Other known people who have the aspect of the demon god inside of them and may have acted as a pawn at one point because of it.
>Zouken
>Mozart
Mozart claims that Marie saved him from giving into the demon though. The demon gods can posess anyone of certain bloodlines whenever they want.
holy shit this thread is 3 days long now, why is this happening?
mean warn everyone
It might be because he found out Marisbury is bad news after coming to Chaldea and willingly sided with Goetia to stop him.
With what and how? As far as other magus is concerned money bills is just doing regular magus shit. Also up till that point, nobody expected there to be a bigger threat than goetia.

Hm. This bothers me.
Maybe Lev found out what Marisberry had done in Seraphix. Some of which even we don't entirely know about yet. I mean other than the various orphan death experiments.
but he was there long enough that he should of been able to tell that Chaldea staff (other than maybe the crypters I don't know much about Lostbelts)wasn't in on it at leas not Roman, Da Vinci, and Olga weren't in one it I guess maybe some of the faceless staff members might have been in on it since we nothing about them but still
are you a time traveler
Well he found out somehow surely he must have some proof or did the demon pillar tell him and if so why didn't the demon pillar tell him in the other timelines
Because it is only in fgo timeline that marsibilly actually won the grail war and built chaldea. What is there to inform to other timelines?
I'd like to believe that Shirou learns about Marsbar and takes him down. If he realized the threat of Kiara when no one else did, he should realize how much of a monster Marsbar is.
Sup bitches.
its literally Time Squad but more shit , jewish and soulless
Medea sure is cute there.
>Somehow
>When a part of the story is about the mystery behind Chaldea's first director and how he was able to make Chaldea work in the first place.
That's like whining about how Nerv was able to create the Evas.
>failed to sudoku in time
He might have actually consciously chosen not to sudoku this time after learning about Moneybills's plans.
How can someone be that wrong
>yo guys, whoever dies in Singularities stay dead because the world registers it and spends less energy Deus Ex Machinaing their death than just resetting it
>but Lion King and Tiamat don’t count because they are “impossible events” so everyone stays alive and the world just resets them anyway.
>What, irish soldiers massacrated the american presidents and curries fired nukes around while Beowulf guarded a prison? That’s totally not impossible.
awww did I hurt your feelings you type-shit cocksucker
In the case of Camelot, they kinda have to go that far, since if they didn't there'd be no point. Most of humanity would be extinct. Basically the world has no choice but to expend the bare minimum amount of resources so that humanity isn't brought down to nothing. I'm pretty sure Uruk wasn't like that though. Gilgamesh himself said that those who died would stay dead.
did you get your feelings hurt because someone said you were wrong
yikes my oofers
overrated
while it is enjoyable when you play along with the update and hype. I wouldn't say it's good at all from a story telling stand point. The only thing good about it is the length of its world building, not the content.
Camelot, Babylonia, Solomon and part 2, IMO are pretty good.
Im sorry but no, I understand why people like them but I wouldn't stretch it out that far myself. I'm not saying it's bad either, so I'll just enjoy it for what it is.
still better than FLCL
Solomon sucked mash's shit about people can only enjoy life cause they know it will end some day was retarded and Goeita see's all the pain and suffering in people's lives and the best he can come up with is to make a planet of immortals what a moron
Servant when?
Who?
I'm not surprised that you totally misunderstood the story when your english is THIS bad.
what cause I made some typos stop being a faggot. Anyway mash was constantly talking bullshit about how death added meaning to life she even claimed that the smiles in the dream goeita showed her had to be fake cause their were immortal she claimed they were just muscle memory
They're good in comparison to the rest of FGO, but are still pretty bad compared to the rest of the franchise. Even as interesting of a story as they are, the basic issues of it being a mobage story can't just be erased. Guda is still an explicitly bland self-insert that gets sucked off because he's so generic and inoffensive. Even though Singularity F was a bad chapter overall, First Order showed the issues with Guda as an MC when he just plainly just stood around and did nothing, but everyone somehow thought this was made him an amazing Master.
To be fair if this was an online RPG or a triple A game they could have done more with the Gudas as a character. A mobage can only do so much, especially when it's done in a pseudo-VN format where you choose the dialogue you want the MC to say but since it's a mobage they can't actually pull a Mass Effect and give us multiple endings based on our choices so it makes Guda come off as a bland MC. I'm personally hoping the Babylonia anime fixes some of this by actually making Guda interact with the rest of the cast and maybe even give him a canonical personality.
What's wrong user? Don't use logic, FGO shills will refute all your points with m-muh waifu.
Jesus how much falseflagging you can make in one sentence.
>shill
Go back Yea Forumsermin and take your stupid buzzwords with you.
>canonical personality
But that makes it harder to self-insert as him.
Story and world wise they're good but yeah guda is a terrible mc, I hope they actually give him a personality this time
There's opportunities to do more with these sorts of characters, but silent protagonists often get the short end of the stick. It's because they don't want to offend anyone that they keep the protagonist as neutral as possible, because everyone has a different idea of what the protagonist is like. So it's like taking in as much of the feelings of the majority as possible.
If you actually look into fandom interpretations, you'll notice certain patterns in how people interpret the protagonist. The male protagonist is usually pretty neutral. A generic "nice guy". In gag situations, he's the "hapless misfortunate young man who gets pulled into hopeless situations against his will". A perfectly generic protagonist. Incidentally, the male protagonist of Fate/EXTRA generally got the same treatment. These personalities usually fall in line with the "default" dialogue options, the ones that are those of a straightforward and kind young man. On the other hand, interpretations of the secondary type, those of the more humorous dialogue options, are reserved for the female protagonist. The spunky, energetic, funny or cute options are all given to her. If you look at any fancomic featuring the female protagonist, most of them will follow that pattern to some degree. The reason for this most likely falls in line with their designs. The female protagonist has bright orange hair and amber eyes, so that automatically causes most people to associate her with a sunny disposition. Her default facial expression also has a more cheerful smile than the more laid back one that the male protagonist has. In short, to most people, their image of the male protagonist is a certain way and their image of the female protagonist is another. Indeed, much of the blame lies in the main artist, Takeuchi, who drew them in such a way.
But here's the core issue: Fate/stay night, Fate/EXTRA and Fate/Grand Order are, as Nasu likes to describe them, at their core "boy meets girl" stories. Because Mash is the girl, it's imperative that the protagonist is the boy. And because most people see the male protagonist a certain way, they try to be true to that common interpretation. If if were the female protagonist, they might feel more relaxed and inclined to make her more bubbly, cheerful, entertaining or cute. That kind of bias is common for things like this. The male protagonist is a self-insert, but the female protagonist has more freedom. Since much of the target audience for this series consists of males, they'd naturally want to create a character that appeals to males more. And even most Japanese women would prefer to see a cute heroine over a drab one.
No, even before that, because the protagonist is meant to be a reflection of the player, they would prefer to keep the protagonist neutral. They can't have extreme issues in their personalities or backstories the way that Ryougi Shiki, Tohno Shiki or Emiya Shirou do. In Nasu's stories, the protagonists are more often than not in conflict with themselves. Even their external conflicts are often a reflection of their internal ones. But since Guda lacks that, there's little to be done.
On a slightly different topic, which Lostbelt would you least want to live in?
>Russia Lostbelt where you turn into a furry and it's an eternal winter.
>Scandinavia Lostbelt where you get sacrificed to giants past a certain age.
>Chinese Lostbelt where you get meteors dropped on your head if you learn to read and write.
>Indian Lostbelt where crocodiles show up out of nowhere and eat you and if you get eaten you get permanently retconned out of existence.
None of them are ideal but if you had to choose one, which would it be? Personally I'd choose Chinese Lostbelt, at least living isn't suffering there.
To give an example of how art influences interpretation, look at pic related. The Hakunos have the same narration and mostly the same dialogue choices. So what causes interpretation of them to be different? It's the art. The biases in the art will inevitably caught by the one who sees them. When we have little to go on, especially with such neutral or silent protagonists, we fill in the blanks with other information.
The Caster ending inc CCC is identical regardless of the protagonist's gender, but the art is still different. Male Hakuno is freaked out, his expression isn't outside the norm. But female Hakuno's expression is more exaggerated. The light in her eyes are flower-shaped. She has no nose. Her mouth is agape. Already, you'd think "Oh, so the female is more humorous a character than the male". Thus, their images probably start to diverge in your head. In the Nameless Forest event, the male Hakuno would probably just write his name normally to remember it. But female Hakuno may actually be more inclined to write "Francis Xavier" above her actual name. Thus the image that the female Hakuno may be more amusing than the male might have already established itself in your mind.
I'm not saying this is absolute or even a matter of course, but the art does give off that feel. It doesn't help that they has the female Hakuno do a Jojo pose in Capsule Servant.
I think russia, because you get to live longer I guess
not really. Ivan the terrible's ghost secret service that tries to kill all the rebels exists. China lostbelt probably has the longest life and smallest standard deviatations from that because everyone is basically a drugged up sheep
we still have yet to see other 3
true, but they all have bigger deviations from the panhuman history than china so...
But of those, only the Atlantis lostbelt seems like it might have anything positive about it, the other two are shitshows.
And that is why we get art like this
her behaviour in lostroom and part 2 kinda gives it away
>The female protagonist has bright orange hair and amber eyes, so that automatically causes most people to associate her with a sunny disposition
That's funny, because this is Shirou Emiya's features. I think side tail is more key to selling female master's implied disposition
Expression plays a big part of that too. Shirou doesn't smile that much. Also, Takeuchi gave Shirou Hisui-style eyes to create a machine-like atmosphere. He used those eyes on Hisui to create the illusion that she was more robotic than she actually was, but in Shirou's case it was a more straightforward usage.
Bright orange hair, a happy expression and a side-tail with a scrunchie. A Fate/Grand Order adaptation could end up very different if she were chosen the protagonist. That's how biases tend to work, anyway.
Umu. Well, that kind of reasoning is why in character polls, the female protagonist is more popular. "I get the feeling she'd be more fun" or "It kinda feels like she'd be livelier". It's completely arbitrary, but there are still reasons for it.
>Fate/stay night, Fate/EXTRA and Fate/Grand Order are, as Nasu likes to describe them, at their core "boy meets girl" stories
What about Tsukihime?
Is that crotch belt really needed
Tsukihime, too, is a "boy meets girl" story. At its core that's what it is. Nasu's very peculiar about those kinds of things for some reason.
I find it funny how fanartists haven't done more with the fact that Takeuchi officially said out of the gate that Gudao and Gudako's designs were genderswapped Rin and Shirou.
Speaking of the female protagonist, i think Shimosa manga did a good job with her.
Speak not of such matters. Though sad a fact as it is to admit to, it is true that there are many fans of FGO who have never been exposed to Fate/stay night. Heresy that it may be, 'tis a cruel truth that one can do nothing about.
Mm. It's kind of why I'm hoping if they ever animate any of Epic of Remnant, they'll use her instead.
Why is the release taking so long? Isn’t it just an art update?
yes
Is the Fate lore actually worth reading? The franchise just seems like an excuse to design a shit ton of cute girls. I see absolutely nothing redeemable besides that.
It's a complete and total rewrite. Also at least one new route, maybe more. There's at least one new character.
read the visual novel
The majority will never know, Saberface isn't just a funny joke. It's a virus that infects the series and sort of drains any sort of emotional investment in the character effected. Saberfaces always have a positive ending waiting for them and any one on the Saberfaces side will likely be safe.
I'm curious about the Salem adaptation, since that uses FeMC too. I was disappointed to learn that Shinjuku uses the male hero. I wanted to see her in a suit and call Moriarty "Papa".
Why?
More believable than those legendary heroes and occasional god/ess throughout time all falling in love with the bland self insert.
It worked in FSN and Extra because they all had really tragic ends betrayed by everyone they loved. Company can help heal long lasting wounds and that feeling of real happiness for the first time since can easily develop into love.
But then you start introducing those who weren't alone, or were even satisfied with how their story ended, and they just fall in love with Guda for no reason and it's retarded. Especially because
1. They are not alone. FSN and FE worked because it was just one master and one servant. They had to rely on each other to survive so this forced openness.
2. There are a ton of male servants around, all of which who are far more accomplished and most of which are far more charismatic than Guda.
3. Guda very clearly already has a romantic interest.
These three reasons combined means there is absolutely zero reason for 99% of the cast in FGO to fall for Guda.
but they do
because it's a waifu selling game and money comes before believably.
It's got actual fucking lore with story that has actual fucking depth outside out of I want to fuck that girl so I'll spend my lives fortune on gacha rolls while this mobile game story goes on in the background.
Mash is ugly.
The manga in general has done a muxh better job than the fucking mobage. Turas realta actually gave kiyohime some semblance of personality beyond lmao yandere stalker bickering with liz over being dragon girls. Yet more proof that mobage is a shit medium for story telling.
Thing is most heroes have tragic ends. Comes with the territory. There aren't many heroes without some form of deep regret, painful death or some combination of the two. If anything, the majority of heroes would probably seek some sort of happiness, however small. Remember this: humanity has always had attachment to tragedy in their stories, even from the very beginning.
did you fucking expect good writing for garbage that is Fate. Entire thing is excuse to attracts retards with genderbent waifushit
I'm positive they made Shinjuku protagonist male just for the Jeanne J. Jalterson waifubaiting.
To be fair, a girl wearing guy clothes wouldn't be as odd so that dance scene wouldn't have been much a big deal if you picked gudako.
The Atlantis Lostbelt might actually be a utopia. Apparently the Age of Gods never ended there so Zeus and the Greek pantheon are still ruling the world in the present. We might go in expecting a dystopian shithole only to get a perfect utopia where everyone’s happy under Zeus’s rule and living the dream but we still have to destroy it anyways because Panhuman History.
>Implying Zeus of all gods could create a utopia
There are a ton of servants in FGO who were happy with how their story ended.
Also like I said, even those who ended tragically have absolutely no reason to try to pursue Guda due to reasons 1-3. He is not their only choice and he is already romantically involved with someone. If they desired companionship in the FGO setting there is a buffet of male heroes throughout history of every shape size and personality. most of which have no living partner but even those that do are still superior to Guda. There were also a handful of staff they could choose from if they desired human contact.
The only ones with actual reasons to pursue Guda over anyone else are those that are insane and latched onto the first person they saw.
Tch. It's not like they'd ever adapt Dead Heat Summer Race, so I'd at least like to see the "Papa" gag adapted just once. FeMC's cute enough so you can use her in place of Fran just fine.
You could always invent a complex about it. A lot of Servants treat her like a boy so maybe she could get depressed about her apparent lack of femininity.
It wasn't initially that garbage. Nesu put in some good work with the original obscuring the fact your servant was King Arthur was a good move. Anything else would've been too easy to figure out even for enemy servants.
Who do first think of when you some knight with a powerful sword goes around acting all chivalrous?
>gods still around
>utopia
I'd rather take my chance with some generic post apocalypse cyberpunk hell hole than live in a world where some spiteful god might curse your family just because you accidentally spilled a drink on them or someshit.
Fuck off mashu
>Our objective is to restructure human history. To be succinct, it is to make anew a “soil where God is”.
>Although Panhuman History is not mistaken, at the same time, it is not correct.
>It has settled into a mechanism where profit and loss do not compensate for one another, but the volume of each are respectively increased.
>That is too wasteful. It is a situation where that which should circulate, does not circulate.
>Lamenting the current state of the planet which has no answer, the [God of the Foreign Star] chose to descend.
>The mission given to we Crypters is to establish the Lostbelts and surpass the strength of Panhuman History.
>The King of Magecraft used magecraft--- planned the incineration of the Human Order by the means of humanity, but I am different. I have chosen to edit the Human Order by the means of God.
>Since time immemorial, men have found God in the planet’s administration. God is the planet, the providence of nature.
>However, humanity was incognizant that systems are meant not to be followed, but to be used.
>Because of this mistake, man and god parted ways.
>It was not that humans forgot the gods. It was that they missed the possibility and were unable to make use of the gods.
[...]
>And I have the intent of having man make use of god.
>A perfect Age of Gods. A glorious history where weak humans are abolished.
>A world which will not be smothered no matter how much human consciousness boils over, a living space with not a single flaw or fragment, that is what I will create.
Listen buddy, I'd sooner accept random genderbending of historical figures than the likelihood that the gods don't act like dicks.
There are some nice gods. Like Quetzalcoatl. And. Uh. ...Quetzalcoatl. Though even she gets pretty violent and cruel at times.
>tfw the reason Jeanne is a Saberface is because Butcher was drawing on his old experience of playing FSN blind and thinking Saber was Jeanne at first
*Butcher is actually Bluebeard reincarnated
*Bluebeard cannot slaughter IRL so he's just satisfied ruining waifus with Saberface
*The highest form of murder
Living in Babylon might be good if you can handle a life expentamcy of 35
I'm glad I wasn't the only one.
Is Da Vinci gay for Romani?
No thanks I dont want my waifu's virginity to be claimed by gilgamesh and then have the dowry of gems claimed by ishtar.
What's the reasoning for all the wild servants running around?
Who is the main evil group?
Sorry user, divine law dictates the king gets first taste. Those are the rules I'm afraid. If you ask the king nicely, he'll take pity on (You) and take your waifu in the form of a shota
There's a Holy Grail in each Singularity, and what's left of the Counter Force takes advantage of those Grails to summon Servants that could help the protagonist.
>the final and possibly most dangerous singularity
>here, have benkei help you
FUCK YOU CF
They were all summoned by gil though. But yeah, benkei is really out of place though it us funny to see gil of people summoning a faker.
That's true for anyone that read/watched Stay/Night before it was spoiled to hell and back, I doubt anyone could get into franchise now without knowing her identity already
He summoned them without catalysts, so what can you do? He was lucky to summon Merlin.
>In the "Fate" world, while the circumstances surrounding Chen Gong's birth are unknown, he is descended from China's oldest civilization, the Xia Dynasty and therefore an engineer who inherited the documents and technology of that era.
>However, the Xia Dynasty's weapons are not something humans can handle.
>As they could not be handled unless one's body contained a mystery (in other words, a magic circuit), Chen Gong laughed this all off as "some kind of pointless knowledge," but the moment he saw the thunderous aura pervading Lu Bu's entire body, "Ah, he's qualified" and began working hard on developing Chinese gadgets.
>Chen Gong created these weapons as a way of becoming closer to Lu Bu and as a way of suppressing the man's uncontrollable ardor. Increasingly, Lu Bu's trust in Chen Gong grew.
And he's voiced by Issei.
Summon Enkidu using his old underwear that gil surely kept in pristine condition in his GoB
Romani is the actually the best senpai. Even Mash instinctively knew it.
nu-Satsuki is cute. Can't wait to play her route ;-;
>he is descended from China's oldest civilization, the Xia Dynasty and therefore an engineer who inherited the documents and technology of that era.
But the Xia dynasty didn't have any documents, they didn't have any system of writing. The writing system of China was developed during the Shang which came after the Xia, so we only have the Shang chroniclers' word for it that the Xia was even a real thing and not "Seven Kings of Rome"-tier foundation myth.
>Satsuki
>Route
Stop it. Don't give me hope.
If they are able to rayshift they’d be able to shift to before the Alien God launched its attack or even before that to nip its threat in the bud. Not being able to shift means all Chaldea can do now is to travel to each Lostbelt and hope they can salvage what’s left of panhuman history. Tbh the Lostbelt arc wouldn’t be such a big problem if we could rayshift.
I mean, look, there needs to be some kind of explanation for why Lu Bu has a spear that can turn into a bow that explodes when shot.
>wondering if a mythical thing is "real"
>in a universe where the premise is that ALL myths are real
How do I know that you are a secondary brainlet?
Find out by reading the VN.
Not necessarily. Apparently, Tir na Nog is fake.
>You could always invent a complex about it. A lot of Servants treat her like a boy so maybe she could get depressed about her apparent lack of femininity.
Literally no one would think that. Do you not see the gigantic bazongas she had?
Not ALL the legends are true, that's been the case since F/SN where King Arthur was a woman and Sasaki Kojirou was fake news.
The problem is some of the loonier female Servants keep treating her as male. The male Servants generally aren't as enticed by her. That's bound to cause some self esteem issues in a way.
user, this is Fate, where some unknown ancient civilization built a supercomputer on the moon, where ancient beings like gil and ozy have planes powered by magic.
"In the Fate world", user.
Lol that doesn't matter when most servants still treat her the same as Gudao.
Didn't Merlin come out of his own volition? Gil is too much of a weeb almost all the heroic spirit he summon is japs.
>Tomoe
>Ibaraki
>Ushi
>Benkei
>Kotaro
>Amakusa
Leonidas is the only exception.
>Archer: Tomoe
>Lancer: Benkei
>Lancer: Leonidas
>Rider: Ushiwakamaru
>Caster: Merlin
>Assassin: Kotaro
>Berserker: Ibaraki
>Ruler: Amakusa
Seriously, what a mixed bag. At least summon a Saber. What's the point in summoning two Lancers? And a Ruler? Really? What good is a Ruler gonna do when you already know everyone's identities?
In the end, Tomoe died, Benkei ran away, Leonidas died, Ushiwakamaru was Alter'd, Kotaro died, Ibaraki disappeared and Amakusa also died. Isn't he supposed to have EX-ranked Luck? At least summon someone a little stronger. Surely the King of Heroes can summon a top-class Servant or two.
Who are the badguys? Rogue servants?
The main villain of Part 1 is the King of Magi Solomon[sic] and his Demon God Pillars.
It's pretty lame that he can't summon Raikou or Kintoki. Those would be more useful for monster hunting than Benkei.
Tomoe and Leonidas did good though.
Best girl. Plus they are following the current mommy bait trend.
>Solomon
Nice try, Goetia.
Yeah but imagine if Raikou got alter'd. I don't think anyone needed to deal with a genocidal Ushi-Gozen, do you?
Raikou-Kintoki team wouldn't be screwed as badly as Ushi-Benkei combo.
Merlin was summoned by Gil.
If I remember right, Gil's summoning was random because he just did it without a ritual and says that when they're all dead he'll do it again.
What is the army made up off?
What exactly are they doing to fuck up the time lines?
I highly doubt raikou would get caught in the first place.
They're dealing with gods and Beasts after all. No matter who Gilgamesh summoned, they were still the underdogs.
They use Servants summoned into the Singularities as their enforcers and occasionally serve as the bosses of the Singularities. I’m talking about the Pillars here.
As for what they’re doing to fuck up the timeline, they used seven Holy Grails and their accumulated magical energy to nuke humanity across past, present and future. Instantly driving humanity to extinction save for Chaldea.
The incineration of human history. Basically, human history in itself is being burned away. Humanity won't live past 2017/2018. Everything past that point is gone.
What the Demon God Pillars did was basically plant a Holy Grail in seven locations across the history of humanity. These locations are known as Human Order Foundations, points in time and space that are vital for the proper advancement of humanity. By destroying these points in time, it makes it impossible for the Counter Force of humanity, Alaya, to fix anything. The protagonist's job is to go back in time to these points and fix whatever went wrong.
give holy grails to randos across the timeline which will kill people. Orleans (1): given to saikou no kuuru who summons a bunch of berserk servants, dragons and jeanne alter who will turn france into unending dragon fiesta. Septem(2): given to romulus who summons roman emperors - sidenote septem sucks dick. Okeanos(3): given to blackbeard but actually jason so that jason would sacrifce a pagan god to the ark of the covenant/grail which would blow up everything. London(4): given to zouken who would spread fog everywhere and blow it up using berserk tesla. America(5): given to medb/cu alter who would conquer america i guess
Do they remember everything from all routes of F/SN in FGO? I heard memory was pretty selective based on whatever fanservice wants like some shit about a few Fate/Extra servants not having their memories so you don't NTR yourself
crypters
There would be no servant who would be stronger save for Saver-Class, Fully powered divine servants, Wise-Gil who isn't fucking around or equivalents. I don't think even most Grands could more than slow him down. He's basically Goetia: Human-Form, but canonically so, and one step removed from pure divinity.
He's the father of mankind, literally every other servant who is NOT a pure-deity is under him in the hierarchy.
Why is Waver a servant?
Chinese generals are logicbots and understand that modern humans would be more able to get along.
Raikou's anti demon skill doesn't proc on the Babylonia Demonic Beasts so maybe not.
The rules are a little strange. Basically, Heroic Spirits don't remember past summonings within a certain timeline. For instance, if someone were to summon Emiya in 2004 and a completely different person were to summon him in 2019, the 2019 Emiya wouldn't remember the 2004 summoning. This is in order to prevent confusion, as Heroic Spirits exist outside time and space. But it seems they can remember things that happen outside their respective timelines. So let's say that there are two timelines, Timeline A and Timeline B, and Emiya is summoned in each timeline. An Emiya summoned in Timeline A wouldn't remember past or future summonings in that timeline, but he might be able to remember summonings in Timeline B. The rules are wonky, but it looks like the more distance there are between timelines, the greater a chance for the Servant to remember.
The reason they don't remember summonings is to prevent confusion, so if things are different enough they might be able to remember. That said, how deeply they identify with those memories are a separate matter. Some Heroic Spirits treat memories of other summonings like they're deeply important to them, but others act as if those memories may as well be unrelated to them. Heroic Spirits receive records of their summonings in the Throne, but those records are cluttered, have no particular order and are comprised of events from a vast number of different timelines.
Incidentally, divine spirits don't seem to have this problem and can apparently freely remember whatever they want.
Saw Episode 0, why is everyone a saberface?
It'd be kinda weird though. Officially, Gilgamesh is the King of Heroes, the one whom all other heroes are derived. Strictly speaking, the story of Gilgamesh greatly predates the story of Adam. It would create an interesting conundrum.
Because demiservants in general are a copout to have the Fate non-hero characters for the gacha game and just say "lol they fused with a servant bro" to justify why they can do some of the extra shit they do. Nobody can refute this when fucking Jinako can be Ganesha
Personally, I think things like Zhuge Liang are a bit unforgivable, but divine spirits can't normally be summoned in the first place.
a) to pander to F/Zfags
b) they are scared of pissing off the chinese who probably whale more than westerner
It's a shame really, Chen Gong is pretty fun character. Now we'll probably never see Zhuge Liang and Sima Yi.
Thanks for the clarification.
I think Waver is cool but shit like Ishtar is a bit dumb
>I think Waver is cool but shit like Ishtar is a bit dumb
Eh lore wise its supposed to be the opposite. Divinity can't be summoned directly, barring exception such weaklings like Stheno/Euryale or aliens like Quetz. While there's no reason that regular humans like Zhuge/Sima Yi to be a pseudo.
There's a fairly strict rule that gods can't be summoned. You can't just shove them into a Saint Graph, the scale is just too huge. Heroic Spirits are already too large on their own, that's why the class system exists. You can't summon the original Heroic Spirit, but you can summon certain aspects of themselves suited to a Servant container. That's why Servants don't have all the skills and tools they had in life. A Heroic Spirit is just barely within the bounds of human ability to summon and force into a vessel so long as you're willing to accept a large nerf, but a Divine Spirit is an absolute no go. Even if a Divine Spirit wanted to be summoned, they wouldn't be able to shove themselves into a class container.
There are ways around this, of course. Tamamo-no-Mae is an aspect of the Shinto sun goddess Amaterasu/Buddha Vairocana, but she's only a small part, a piece of Amaterasu who incarnated herself as a human. Thus, Tamamo-no-Mae, by taking on a massive nerf to her abilities, is allowed to be summoned as a Servant. Alternatively you can use a human as appear as a Pseudo-Servant, though you still wouldn't be able to use most of your power as a god.
The third method is by being really, really fucking weak. Stheno and Euryale are goddesses, but they're SO weak and have such small presences that being summoned as Servants actually makes them way stronger. In life, they were so weak and fragile that it was literally impossible for them to live alone. If someone wasn't taking care of them, they'd die. That's how weak and small they were. As Servants, they're way more powerful.
Quetzalcoatl is, strictly speaking, a Pseudo-Servant. Her host was one of the vessels she used in the past.
How are they pandering to the Chinese with Waver?
Not at all. In fact, China was pretty pissed about it. Chinese nationalism is huge, so that fact that some Brit is taking on the role of a major Chinese icon was pretty insulting to them.
She doesn't hate him either. It's one of the most stable relationships in Greek mythology that involves less cheating and the more 'equal' decision power in the relationship.
Some servants actually come from stories, like Jack the Ripper, where the Grail is unable to actually summon him because nobody knew how it was and each time you get a different possible version based on the theories.
Since Japanese relations with S.Korea are at an all time low they should make a bunch of Genderbent and trap korean servants
>this man is already in his 60-70s
>Quetzalcoatl is, strictly speaking, a Pseudo-Servant. Her host was one of the vessels she used in the past.
I'm not entirely sure but her method of becoming a pseudo-servant is different than Isthar/Eresh and the rest right? I seem to vaguely remember Quetz being some sort of bacteria that infect a host or something.
Hopefully Sima Yi is the last time they'll do that pseudo bullshit. I'm guessing the only reason they did put him into Reiness body is due to CF anime airing right now.
Based, fuck the Chinese.
Yi Sun-sin would be pretty based but they'll never put someone that BTFO'd japs that hard. Especially since he's a Korean.
>implying they aren't giving the chinese red carpet treatment right now
LB3 gave the chinese much better treatment than the russian in LB1 or scandi in LB2. Plus they hired Butcher just to write it.
They definitely want to pander to chink whale. While there's probably zero european whale, considering how awfully they treat mainland european.
Speaking of which, wasn't there some Korean girl who taught other Korean prisoners how to read and write and was subsequently executed by the Japanese? I forgot her name, but she seems to be a popular Korean folk heroine.
Are there any Turkish servants yet?
China was extremely satisfied with Qin Shi Hang.
The only one I know that might fit the bill is Dae Jang Geum aka Korean Maomao.
They do get pissed over the QSH that Higashide wrote. FGO's QSH isn't main timeline QSH anyway, just like girl Musashi. It's quite an obvious attempt to pander to china. They should've give us OG Rider QSH that went mad over drinking mercury.
>seven guardians
Who are they?
The mage stuff in El Melloi is so much more interesting than the powerlevel fest that is Grand Order
Attila the Hun probably. Barely. Mehmed II is in a joke series.
>seven
We have four at most. One's a fake, not even recorded in the Throne of Heroes, but just a "what if" that the Throne made use of for the Grand Orders. He has memories of being a Guardian, but those memories are also just "what if". Kerry doesn't qualify as a Counter Guardian. The world wouldn't try to contract with him.
Humans did worse things.
>back then people still think and argue how Gilgamesh is Grand anything, even grand Caster candidate too
He'd have no interest in a Grand container and he wouldn't benefit from it in the first place. In fact, Merlin seems to think of the Grand container in a derisive manner.
IIRC Gil can't qualify for Grand servant status since no matter what class he's summoned as, the "essence" of what he is as a servant doesn't change
Remember when the Avenger class container was created specifically for Angry Manjew and nobody else?
Except it was never that, secondary-kun.
Well, maybe if the Grand Containers had some amazing Class Skills, then he might still benefit. But since stats are irrelevant to Gilgamesh, it's meaningless.
I mean grands aren't even about strength. They have to fill a specific role like Grand caster has have the greatest clairvoyance of any human to have existed
Even so, it's said that Grand containers themselves grant Servants tremendous power. But it wouldn't benefit Gilgamesh's treasury.
Daybit is Adam reincarnated and his servant is Cain. Screen shot this
only played the story until Babylonia and stopped, my servants are garbage and weak. worth to play through or just watch a YouTube of Babylonia?
The strength of the Grand container is the authority and backup of the World. That's why none of your Servants can harm Solomon, because he's on a different level of authority completely. Or at least, that's what Goetia told you when he was actually Beast I just pretending to be Grand Caster.
It was the case for Einzbern grail because they just substituted berserker by avenger since they're creators of the system. The rules of Einzbern's system don't necessary have to apply to Chaldea.
git gud
Babylonia is easier than Camelot.
Except Gilgamesh is just a meme from pagan religion. He lived on Noah's era considering how the flood happened in his story too.
That's why he's the original model. The Great Flood in the Epic of Gilgamesh is the original model from which all other Great Floods are based. This is how it works. That's why he's called Mankind's Oldest King of Heroes, because his epic is the original. That's the entire point of his character and the very reason he's the strongest.
Current state of Yea Forums
>Alaya isn't stupid though after this many singularities have popped up, so it just shoved a bunch of counter guardians into Chaldea and told them to help you out. Since Alaya reconizes that you're solving shit right now.
Hell, arguably Chaldea and Guda are covering what Alaya's blindspots and acting as the last resort. Guda is basically a counterguardian without any of the benefits of a CG nor Alaya's influence over him/her.
Because takeuchi
Sherlock was also in that joke series but look where he is now.
Stheno and Euryale are portrayed as monstrous gorgon who killed plenty of men, hardly "weak".
They are stronger than humans, but against everything else? Not so much.
Remember, Medusa ate them when she became Gorgon
Da Vinci is gay in general. Michelangelo was his fuckbuddy (Mike was in love with him but was more one sided, still probably had sex). His love for Mona Lisa is platonic devotion because he painted her in image of his mother.
And yes, the only reason he stayed was to help him and protecting what he had pride on was her last actions and what she found proud on, she knew she would die after she finished all the things he left her with. Plus she realizes Michelangelo's feelings for her and how he felt when she loses him.
It was probably one sided, though, because Romani was too engrossed with his mission to even pay her attention. She was his best friend though.
The Stheno and Euryale in Fate are weak. They can't kill anyone.
No, they're weaker than humans. It was their fate to be kidnapped and raped by humans, but Medusa prevented that.
So is Apocrypha canon? Vlad implies it was
Everything is canon because loltimelines
It's a separate timeline.
The writer of the chapter chooses the servants apparently. So they are to blame instead of DW/Nasu in general this time.
LB3 got all chinks because Butcher is a chinkfag.
>In fact, China was pretty pissed about it.
Proof? Waver is on their top ten of favorite male Servants (survey carried before LB3).
Are Ataraxia, Stay Night and Ell Malloy canon different timelines?
I heard LB3 had to be re-written several times because it was getting too edgy and or grimdark
>hire the butcher
>get mad when he goes butchering
No, they're the same timeline.
There are different timelines, user. Also Jack and Jeanne aren't in the Throne as of Apocrypha, so it's quite strange they could be summoned. Does this mean the Throne-stuff is affected by timelines or has a different version?
Most likely affected by timelines.
You can summon LB's version of servants, for instance.
That doesn't sound plausible because LB3 was released pretty quickly. And Butcher's Wuxia isn't grimdark, and he's hired for Wuxia.
LB as concept in general is edgy as fuck. And LB1 was far more edgier.
Does this mean I could summon Solomon if I was in Mooncell war?
But which is the correct timline? Stay night, Ataraxia, UBW or Heavens Feel?
Good luck summoning a Grand Servant.
Only Alaya can summon them, Marisbilly only managed to summon Solomon because he had 1 of the 10 rings(which God instructed Solomon to send to the future for Marisbilly to find)
LB3 was literally the most peaceful LB though. India behind.
>LB1
>had cannibalism and a man is a wolf who eats wolf for survival if they must
>LB2
>children are forced to have children or they die at 15 and are all eaten by giants when they turn 25
not really bright are you?
All of them.
The "main" timeline in which every other timeline is compared to for the timeline pruning is FGO's timeline though.
All of them are canon braches of that timeline.
You can't tear yourself from.the Throne so easily. There's still a Jeanne in tbe Throne. Only the Jeanne who fell in love with Sieg has left. There's still a Jeanne who never met him.
Jack the Ripper is a wraith. She was never in the Throne.
AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Heavend feel part 2 bd when?
In about 2 weeks.
Which is the most canon?
You can't compare them like that. Bad ends are as canon as those 3 routes.
Heaven's Feel.
Contrary to what you believe, there aren't an infinite number of timelines.
Chronological timeline:
>Fate/zero
>Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files
>Fate/stay night (Fate route, UBW route, and Heaven's Feel route)
>Fate/hollow ataraxia
>Fate/strange Fake
What is the canon timeline for the EXTRA series?
Thanks to FGO, everything is canon.
>Fate/zero
Alternative timeline. 4th war of F/SN happened slightly differently.
>Fate/strange Fake
Again alternative timeline.
None. All are ewually viable. But Last Encore is probably a purged timeline.
So is Fate learning with manga canon?
Fate cooking?
No
Yes
How about Bad end Catharthis
