I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this, but Part 5. I know Giorno was bland and boring and the story didn't lead into Part 6, but the other characters picked up the slack for him and it gave us a better understanding of the nature of the Arrow. Also, in the anime, the music was fuckin' nice, and a lot of important scenes were done really well (Torture Dance, Doppio Vs. Risotto, 7-Page Muda). I haven't read Part 7 yet, though, but it might surpass what I've been thinking about Part 5.

I'm really enjoying 8 even though it's weird as fuck and makes little sense, but I just love the side characters, Kira and Morioh so if I had to place it now it would be between 7 and 6 probably.

I feel like 5 and 6 are almost opposites in regards to their quality. 5's first half is fucking amazing, and after Diavolo is revealed I feel like it substantially drops in quality apart from Metallica and Doppio, and has the most disappointing final battle in the series.

6 on the other hand has a fucking terrible first half, but when the story actually kicks in and they eventually leave the prison it's an absolute 10/10 rollercoaster, and Pucci was a far more satisfying and well developed villain than Diavolo IMO.
