This Zelda manga is surprisingly good, are all the Zelda manga just as fun? I was surprised that Link talking didn’t bother me at all. I think this “perfect edition” released in my country has 5 volumes total:
- pic related
- Ocarina of Time
- Minish Cap / Phantom Hourglass
- Four Swords
- Oracle of Ages / Oracle of Seasons

Are there lewd scenes?
is it canon?
They are, the benefits of having a good writer and not farming them out on the cheap.
I really liked them as a kid, Ocarina was my favorite.
Incredibly mild but yes.
To itself, not to the games. Link talks. They stick pretty close to the games story though.
Is that the one in which a hero or whatever the hell that guy was makes a... dragon monster or something dance for 3 days and 3 nights so he can pass on and then he carves the majora's mask out of the monster's body/armor? as you can see I don't remember very well but I do think it was a nice touch
Read this one. It tells the story of Wind Waker but in a 4-koma format. It's my favorite TLoZ manga.
Yeah. That was in an epilogue/bonus chapter in the MM manga. Though that isn't exactly the canonical source for the mask since its meant
to be ambiguous.
Link's Awakening was good except there was a companion fairy for no reason, it wasn't too egregious though and the story was still great
didn’t notice any so far
probably not, it has some cool short “side stories” not seen in the games
yep, that chapter is such a clever (but probably non-canon) lore addition to Majora’s Mask, I hope other volumes also have stuff like this
Probably gonna be tough to find where I live, but I’ll look for it
Link does talk in the games, it's just not shown to the player or it's only in dialogue boxes.
Did the Hero of Time end up marrying Zelda after MM manga wise?
this, BotW even has a diary entry where Zelda talks about the way Link talks
I wish
Another thing I like about this manga is that each Link is drawn differently, to more closely resemble how he looks in his respective game. I thought for sure they’d standardize Link but they didn’t.
you can download it from sadpanda in case you don't find the physical book
>sadpanda
it's biyoris now
I’ll check it out, thanks
Oh shoot I was going to say Ocarina was my favorite of the adaptions because I completely forgot this was real. That manga was such a delight.
Did the TP manga finish yet?
I really love these manga adaptions of Zelda. Link never feel OOC for what I would've expected from his portrayal in game and the art is always great. Twilight Princess surprised me with just how fucking dark it gets.
it's because it doesn't take it seriously
Not sure, but I’m gonna wait for a similar compilation
I thought they were all right, but every single one felt too brisk. So many times they just skipped over a lot of the adventuring and boss fighting just so they could get all the plot coupons and get to more dialogue with Ganon/Zelda/whoever else. Ocarina in particular felt hardest hit by this and it even got a full volume by itself unlike the others. What I wouldn't give for it to have just taken some more time to develop the world and have comfy exploration chapters. That being said the briskness served Phantom Hourglass well and it was by far the funniest one. I also hadn't played LttP when I read the manga so I was surprised to learn Ghanti was an OC. I really liked her character and interactions with Link and this could have been explored more if not for the rushed adaptation.
Majora's mask manga gave to much screentime to the irrelevant sidequest couple instead of characters that actually matter.
Link to the Past and Link's Awakening are better manga adaptations.
The games allow him to scream, gasp and grunt but not actually talk? Why's that?
No. It’s Ganon
that was based. I wrote that story for a creative writing piece and got full marks in my finals. No one even knew I copied it.
check again bro
Anyone read pic related?
I love that chapter to death. It has that classic oral tale quality to it, it's very memorable.
