It is cheating to bring in an outside condition based on the outcome of the game. It's similar to bribe and blackmail.

I didn't realize there was a rule in Duelist Kingdom where you couldn't move two steps back once you started dueling.

There's also no rule about taking hostages and forcing someone to throw the match, but that doesn't mean it's not cheating.

Pretty sure there is a law which states you can't do that, user. I don't know what world you live in where hostages aren't illegal.

Isn't the "heart of the cards" just getting a good top draw? You'd have to be a shitty player to rely on top drawing to win.

I didn't take it as him cheating. It was more like he was too confident. Everyone in the series drew the cards they wanted everytime.

Top decking was life back in the ancient era of yugioh where searching was nonexistent outside of Sangan and the formerly caged Witch of the Black Forest. Dudes were so slow a battle trap nuking your field caused you to lose.
