>bombed Chaldea (Animusphere workshop) >bombed Olgamarie (Alien God Priestess) >bombed A-Team (Crypters) >bombed 2016 (the political normalfag invasion of Yea Forums) Is there anything that our boy Flauros can't bomb to save humanity?
He couldn't bomb Marisbilly, thus he couldn't stop his plan. It seems like Lev also didn't know that A-Team were supposed to be LB rulers/Crypters since the very beginning too.
>they still translate Sheba as Shiva How fucking retarded can funi be? Did they have like no contact with the official TL of the game? That misstranslation is kinda severe in general since you lose a hint for solving the mystery for yourself.
Joseph Rogers
>since you lose a hint for solving the mystery for yourself. Is it supposed to hint at Solomon's role in all this? Doesn't make much sense to me, Lev never knowingly had contact with Solomon.
Lincoln Garcia
w-why is Daybit visiting Moneybills at night so regularly that Moneybills comments he's five minutes late this time?
It's okay. A bit inconsistent in quality early on because they split it to multiple outsourced translators, some of whom were decent but at least one of whom was probably a southeast asian ESL, but since then they've generally cleaned up although typos can show up every now and again. Somewhat troublingly they admitted that they massaged the script of the very rapey chapter Agartha a bit (no direct mentions of cumming inside Amazon wombs while being raped for example, but the script still says that the slaves are being forced to impregnate amazons with no choice so really it's saying the same thing just without rapey words) because they were scared of offending some people. But otherwise it's fine and understandable and they get terminologies correct (except that they fucked up the latin spelling of one of BB's skills I think)
>set in a world where magic is on the decline and magus families are off competing in a battle royale as part of a wish granting ritual where one of the main wish was to restore magic from a lost, ancient era Sounds pretty Fate to me.
Oliver Kelly
They really, desperately need someone to do editing/QCs.
I gotta say that I love the scene where Moneysbill mentions he won. All the city is burning and Solomon is using a robe waiting for his master to make a wish. His appearance looks similar to the one of the Grand Berserker.
That episode has nothing to do with Babylonia chapter. Again, they wasted time on boring Chaldea staff flashback and Mash. It was nice to see Marisbilly at last, but still it looked more like preview to Solomon arc than Babylon. Also it all went to shit when Guda showed up, he looked so fucking unnecessary, like a blatant self-insert from isekaishit.
Logan Butler
>when Guda showed up It's not like he did a lot. He just shows up and is the transition to the first OVA of FGO.
Kayden Evans
the boots and the shadow from the 2nd pic and the cuff(?) in the 1st pic. of course this is still a speculation anyway.
>That episode has nothing to do with Babylonia chapter. It sets up Masshu's character for Babylonia and Salomon when she has to grapple with her own mortality, no?
Juan Powell
I kinda liked that it felt more as if Mash was the main character while Guda was just a side character. I hope the actual anime keeps this up and won't just have everyone sucking his cock for no real reason (which is alright on the game, but just feels out of place on anime).
Wyatt Phillips
Mash definitely will be better MC though I don't like her too. Guda will be plain self insert shit.
Austin Lopez
It was enough to look irrelevant and out of place.
Grayson Allen
What are the chances of us getting at least one scene with summoned servants
Jose Diaz
Nigga, it was just the transition. He doesn't talk much, he has like two lines and ends the episode.
Luke Wood
I CLAPPED WHEN SHIKISAI STARTED PLAYING
I CLAPPED
Jayden Morris
Drakes tits were the best part of this
Luke Garcia
t. Blackbeard
Cameron Murphy
So this anime's gonna cover Solomon, right? This introduction episode would be nothing but blueballing if we don't get Mashu and Goetia's discussion about human worth, and the setup of her dream without having it end with Mashu and Guda beneath the clear sky in the reclaimed 2017.
It should, but I cannot imagine how nightmarishly expensive it must be to have all of those VAs in for just one OVA
Justin Russell
He's only pretending, read his interlude.
Angel Adams
OR it's nothing but an advertisement and ends with a "go play the game to get the ending :^)"
Colton Hernandez
They'll only have Jeanne and whoever has minor plot relevance talking. The pillar fights will be skipped or happen in the background and 99% of those five pixel smears won't say a word.
Jeremiah Brooks
>all this quality in just episode 0 Why cant they treat their multi billion dollar franchise better?
If we don't get an Avengers Endgame-scale scene of all the servants dabbing on the pillars then there's no point to this OVA being made
Ethan Bailey
it's just the shitty art style
Zachary Turner
Do you have ANY idea how much money F/GO makes
Jose Murphy
They were in their coffins when the bombing happened. No time to run, let alone try magecraft.
Adrian Evans
How is fighting pillars even visually interesting? They just sit there, writhe, and shoot energy blasts. They were always shitty antagonists to me apart from looking kinda creepy.
They can make them as mobile as they want for an OVA, it's not like they'd be breaking some super important canon
John Gonzalez
Because they could shit out DEEN quality stuff, and it would still print money.
Quantity>Quality
Henry Jackson
People are just just picking, the start of this episode was kino as fuck. Yeah they should've go with who ever the illustrator was for Babylonia squad
Easton Ramirez
They can pay some VAs with SQ. Some of them are unironically hooked to the game.
Jonathan Campbell
They're still just big, weird-looking ropes with eyes that wiggle around
Jaxon Gonzalez
Yes, but I doubt they're willing to burn such a huge amount of it by having to pay the outrageous wages their VAs demand for just an OVA
Jaxon Bailey
What kind of preview do you need for Babylonia? it will play out the same as the game, there's no need to change anything. While the Solomon arc in the game was severely underdeveloped.
Asher Cooper
Yamanaka Kotetsu (illustrator of the Demon Pillars, Goetia, Tiamat, Holmes) already did that in her artbook
The few seconds of Mash dodging lazers looked decent but everything else looked god awful! I mean compare this shit to El-Melloi. Fucking night and day.
Levi Jackson
Don't seiyuu love to reprise their roles in japan? I thought it was a huge deal of respect and professionalism over there.
Colton Wright
Her tits dont look that big
Levi Cooper
this. should've designed them like actual demons from the book of Solomon. When I heard about demon pillars, I never thought that they are literally pillars
Gabriel Walker
Why do people care about Olga so much? She was pretty useless and existed only to die like a bitch
Benjamin Sanders
Sure, but that don't mean they're gonna do it for free. Getting paid isn't seen as unprofessional over there
Aiden Gray
I dunno user, how did they make the fight with gilles's giant demon insteresting?
The only thing fgo characters have is design, so it makes sense
Logan Bell
>all that Gudako focus
Will they finally stop being retarded and give her anime?
Kayden Bailey
He's cosplaying user. Arjuna Alter has painted toenails
Lincoln Lopez
>all these limited servants that you can't get anymore
What's the point of showcasing Mecha Eli or Passionlip if new players won't be able to roll them ever
Elijah Bennett
The art in the show looks so garbage. The demons will probably look like Overlord tier garbage cgi
Samuel Harris
It's really funny how Fate became japanese Marvel.
Bentley Reed
Its to make the fuckers who payed thousands on a mobile game feel better about themselves
Ethan Bailey
And leaving her butt unguarded for a slap!
Jonathan Brooks
I'm gonna call BB you ginger prick
Alexander Ward
She already has one
Henry Miller
I thought they're introducing a system to load up old events? Presumably limiteds will be achievable like that. As for event locked servants like Lip, they'll always come back around for special banners, just exceedingly sparingly.
Brody Long
Ritsuka is way better than mash
John Wood
Even this is full of fucking QUALITY. Look at Mecha Liz and the dragons. Look at the Hydra. Look at the Bridge. God, that last bit at the end with the summoning? That looks fucking terrible too. You can really tell the Beserk 3DCG animation director worked on this.
???? There's many anime with the VAs of FGO cast together.
Lucas Carter
Yes, but not with ALL of them
Stop for a second and realize just how many servants show up for the Temple of Time, user
Camden Johnson
Nice bait.
Gavin Taylor
You could say the photorealistic CG clashes with the 2D animation, but it's a well-animated trailer by all means. Also, it was made by different staff from the Babylonia anime. The usual FOG CM animators worked on it, but with the GOD Eater director of photography handling the digital compositing. The CG itself was by a studio that usually works on stuff like car commercials.
Robert Ross
That explains why the surroundings look so good
Henry Gomez
Easily, if it's a preview for Babylonia they should have shown Gilgamesh and Enkidu's past, so anime only will understand what happened between them. This ova though is direct preview to Salomon. Why even call it Babylonia? Ridiculous.
Lucas Stewart
The backgrounds look pretty great. I'll give that to them. But seriously, that animation just is off and terrible. >photorealistic If you mean those fucking dragons, hydra or the fucking massive oni, I'm gonna have to stop myself dying from laughter. The sea was fine. The rest is absolute crap and just looks like shit. I'm sorry. They can't even be asked to give a little detail to the servants who are far away from the camera, I know that's extremely common, but fucking hell. Its a 1 minute animation and the quality is equal to an OVA. There's no story to it, all they had to do was do a good 1 minute animation with decent CG and they failed at that.
Grayson Hill
>ufotable in purgatory
You call this purgatory when they made these amazing shit? The only one's in purgatory right now is KyoAni.
And? Aniplex funds Fate anime and none of the VAs are that expensive.
Daniel Fisher
They already have Jeanne, Nero, Drake, and Nightingale just from this preview episode alone. All they'd need is Mordred and Artoria for the bulk of the dialogue to already be handled, and Ayako Kawasumi shows up to literally every single Fate project, I doubt she has much of a pricetag since Artoria is her star role. (Oh, and a quick check tells me she's actually already on the cast too.. as Fou. So yeah, just Mordred.)
Joseph Peterson
No, there are no plans at all for Solomon adaptation. The more retarded looks their choice for 0 episode storyline.
Camden Bailey
They spent all money on Mash totally ignoring fan favourites servants, as usual. Sasuga nips and their genius anime business strategy.
Landon Richardson
Because Gilgamesh and Enkidu's past doesn't need to be told. This episode 0 was shown at FGO Fes and you can play the episode inside the mobage for those that couldn't attend. It was an episode for players that gives hints for future developments.
Landon Anderson
>Avengers Endgame-scale You need to be braindead to consider that capeshit something good.
Caleb Wilson
>amazing shit Yea, if you mean tracing and pretty visuals instead of actual animation I guess you'd be right
Oh, okay. Even less then! Cast's already on board. Pretty sure Cuchulainn had a line too talking to Mashu? Yeah, that's plenty to get the whole spirit of the scene done. And obviously Medusa is going to be in the anime as Gorgon and Ana.
Brandon Long
Because Mashu and Roman are main characters that play an important role in Babylonia and FGO as a whole. Because the episode ends with Mashu before going to Babylonia. Because everything relevant about Gilgamesh that needs to be told will be happen during Babylonia and doesn't need an episode for him.
Mash and Roman don't play an important role in Babylonia. Mash is just a sidekick to Guda there. All important stuff for them happens AFTER Babylonia. It was retarded to make ova about them and label in babylon. They should have named it Chaldea past or something.
Colton Richardson
She's probably one of the weakest TA ever, not to mention that it's Fate verse not Tsukihime.
Owen Turner
>literally self-insert dummy character Disgusting
Jacob Cooper
Also remember that Ueda Kana said the Babylonia anime script was different from the game too, so just wait and see i guess. Nasu is the voice director of Babylonia anime according to Kobayashi Yuu btw.
Brayden Watson
Mashu has a few important scenes of character development (particularly the one with Leonidas) and her conversation with Goetia occurs between Babylonia and Solomon.
Gavin Edwards
Why, infinity war was pretty good
Nolan James
Then absolute state of the gacha addicted chaotic evil gudako fans
Leo Campbell
>Mash and Roman don't play an important role in Babylonia
I guess all the scenes of Merlin and Roman fucking with each other without dropping their act flew right over your head
She's not precisely a True Ancestor, she's just something so similar (an Elemental with a living body) that it's not too important to differentiate them. She is neither as strong as they are, her body is not a recreation of an Ultimate One (else she'd have the Ultimate One skill like Arc), and if she drinks blood she doesn't go crazy.
Team A is a bunch of jobbers anyway. They get top tier servants and a whole world that helps them and yet they still loose to Gudao most of the time using way worse servants namely Mash who is just using a fucking mech armor at this point because Galahad is a whiny bitch.
Ryder Sullivan
It wasn't. I've given examples such as the last scene with Billy being in the summoning scene that has animation that looks stilted. Look at the part with Tamamo, Mash, Gudako and Blackbeard. Didn't even bother to do minimal effort to give the characters some basic details, even at that distance. Look at Jack with Cu Alter with mash and Gudao. Look at the bridge falling apart and crashing into the water. It looks off, it looks awful and doesn't blend well at all. Not to mention the way it falls into the water is completely stupid. There's smaller parts of the bridge falling above the fucking main part of the bridge. The Hydra is terrible. The boat on water is pretty good, but again, it clashes with the rest of the animation so hard it looks completely out of place. Do I even need to repeat myself about Mecha Liz with the dragons? They're terrible too.
Elijah Davis
Everything in that video clashes with everything else. It looks so overproduced. If only they could rub a bit of that off on the actual fucking show
Yes judging by your previous posts aswell as this one I can clearly tell you are the most qualified person to judge if the animation is good or not. Clearly everyone else is fucking stupid for thinking this animation is good.
>Animation is bad because I said so. Go back and read the post. I give reasons. All you've said is just "You know you said its bad and I think it isn't so any point you have is wrong"
It's pandering to the people who already play the game. Players were surveyed a few years ago on what parts of the story they'd like to see get animated and Babylonia and Camelot were the biggest winners.
If they wanted to pander to anime only retards they'd make a full adaptation that makes some sort of sense and not just skip into the best part of the story.
Luis Price
I want the saber
Jayden Hernandez
>Look at Mecha Liz Yes I want to marry her and show her my great LIZ LOVE
Bentley Morgan
>prescreening in Fes >only available on FGO app for a short time I mean it's pretty obvious that ep 0 is for FGO players (kinda like the Lostroom OVA i guess), but yes it is also an advertisement for new animeonlies like how Case Files anime mentioned Adra Castle like two or three times and Rail Zeppelin ends on a cliffhanger too.
James Walker
>It looks so overproduced. is this the new "forced animation"?
While the assets look good, they are very inconsistent therefore they look very bad when put beside each other even in such a short duration
Chase Gutierrez
Who gives a fuck about Gudao. He is literally just there to bark orders and give a speech here and there. They could make him awesome if they give him all the "funny" answer options that are in the game but they are gonna go with the goody two shoes route anyway.
Logan Butler
Of course you can
Owen Roberts

Jordan Brown
Where is he described as either of those and how reliable is said source?
Nathaniel Martinez
It's still a better Shirou vs Archer fight than Ufotable. Seriously.
In the VN Shirou loses, then gets up, and wins. in the Deen adaptation, Sirou loses, then musters up, and win. In Ufotable's, Shirou loses, gets up, loses, gets up again, is pulled into a reality marble, loses, gets up again, has a big song interlude about his inner power and shit, loses, gets up again, loses again, gets up again, UBW is dismissed, he loses, gets up again, and then win.
3 episodes of total bullshite. 1 hour 20 of stupidity. DEEN, for all the ANIMATION, did a better job at it. You know I'm right.
John Robinson
>competent
Landon Morgan
Even Gil admires Guda after spending a few months in Babylonia. I'm sure the anime is going to bring even more depth to Guda as a main character. youtube.com/watch?v=BIZN34WMi5E

That doesn't mean high powerlevels or anything, it means he led a successful defense of his kingdom for months without external assistance and micromanaged it all himself

>sucessful every single citizen is ded by the end of the story even siduri, his right hand woman died
Luis Morris
And they would've died much, much sooner if it weren't thanks to his guidance. They survived long enough for Guda to be able to beat Tiamat and end the singularity before it was too late
Logan Gray
Except a couple hundred who he sent to the northern wall. A Beast was involved and no servant can fight a Beast alone.
Justin Moore
I don't think you've actually read the visual novel if you think the Archer vs. Shirou fight was short. The UBW anime was a proper adaptation of the VN. It was not only more visually stimulating, but it had important changes that improved the heavy symbolism. Shirou also had no chance of winning in a physical competition vs. Archer. DEEN made it look like Shirou overpowered Archer with sheer strength, which is not only wrong but it's fucking retarded.
Fuck off retard. DEEN was garbage in just about every way sans music.
Zachary White
Uruk was meant to fall either way. Tiamat awakened and they barely got off by the edge of their teeth
Brody Martinez
he had the help of two(three?) grand servants and multiple divine spirits
James Sanchez
Agree. DEEN honestly understood the point of the fight.
Robert Diaz
And? Isn't gathering allies also competence?
Kayden Myers
not so competent if his kindgom was destroyed
Nicholas Fisher
I don't see why not. They already said Ushi and Benkei will be the comedic foils, and Quetz is a goofy woman. This won't be Zero tier levels of seriousness
Jeremiah Roberts
see There only way there might have been a better result was if Ishtar hadn't lost Gugalanna

But Uruk was destined to be destroyed.

>if Ishtar hadn't lost Gugalanna Technically she didn't lost Gugalanna. Ishtar from SF took Gugalanna from her.
Nolan Mitchell
>Ufotable's fight was much more exciting and engaging, deal with it It isn't after 35 minutes of the same bullshit. That's the entire point of the critique.
The second half of UBW is slow. Sometimes, ridiculously slow and disjointed. It is present everywhere in the second season, but it is especially incarnated by the Shirou vs Archer fight, that goes on for 3 entire episodes and has six or seven "Shirou gets up after a crushing blow". The emotional high point of the fight, with the music and the song and the parallels with Artoria, is before the halfway point of the fight. I'll repeat it. When the fight should have ended, when the music boosts out and Shirou finds in himself the path to move forward, the fight is not even half-way finished.
I've talked with many normies who've watched ufotable's UBW. Most agrees that they were bored with the Shirou vs Archer fight. You can't expect anyone to endure an 1:25:00 long fight that retread old grounds again and again. Only the most brainwashed of morons can. You can't expect someone to see the hero falls down, gets up, falls down, gets up, falls down (with music), gets up, falls down, gets up, falls down, gets up, falls down, and gets ups, and then not feel that something isn't quite right.
For this fight, DEEN had an horrible animation. DEEN was also far closer to the source material, and far less boring.
Andrew Perry
I know, but that wouldn't have been possible if she kept a closer eye on it in the first place
Charles Gonzalez
God I wished Dark Sakura could just slice off my balls and spit on me.
Nigger the point is that history doesn't change on a large scale. Uruk was fucking dead because it was destined to be, what Gil does with his actions is what matters.
Christian Hernandez
>she kept a closer eye on it in the first place I think that's a situation that is more related to the behind the scenes than the story. Ishtar mentions she lost Gugalanna but we don't have an official answer until it's revealed SF Ishtar took Gugalanna with her. Something Narita did on his own.
Dominic Long
Archer Vs Shiro is not Fight Action Scene you fool It is Ideal Vs Ideal Crush Scene
Caleb Diaz
>DEEN was also far closer to the source material, Fucking shut the fuck up if you've never read the visual novel retard. Nobody believes you've actually read it after you've proven multiple times you clearly haven't. >You can't expect anyone to endure an 1:25:00 long fight that retread old grounds again and again. Congrats, you and your friends have ADHD and watched the show expecting flashy DBZ-like swordfights instead of exploration of what it means to be a hero and the pursuit of selflessness. Kill yourself.
>DEEN was also far closer to the source material I just wanted to call more attention to how stupid this sentence was. You couldn't be more ignorant if you tried. You're a liar and scum.
>For this fight, DEEN had an horrible animation. DEEN was also far closer to the source material, and far less boring. Exactly. I could not have said it better.
Carson Allen
boring garbage
Nolan Jones
Fate is not a series for you. Go find something more action oriented and mindless.
Ian Johnson
Uruk was going to be destroyed as per history anyway, the most important part is to defeat Tiamat.
John Fisher
so the whole reveal about how the deaths from singularities can't be undone cause you can't change what has already happened that means goeita didn't really change much other than how people died in these singularities right? but despite gil saying we can't change what has already happened we mange to keep hundreds of people alive longer than they were supposed to be so didn't we change something that already happened
Mason Cook
No, they still died at the end, Uruk was still destroyed, that's all that matters. The only thing that changed was how the deaths happened.
Nicholas Cook
Someone is giddy.
FYI, in the VN, Archer crushes Shirou's ideals, then Shirou is in a limbo thinking about his ideals, but he musters up once, and decides to crush Archer. Three acts character development, easy to understand, and relatively fast. It's still emotionally poignant, and a great moment of the VN, maybe the best moment altogether with some parts of Heaven's Feel. There are none of the "will I or won't I, am decided but I'm not, he's completely wrong but... three minutes later, Archer's right" that is in the Ufotable's adaptation.
If you didn't read the original material, I can sort of understand why you'd consider the Ufotable's adaptation of that fight decent. But it isn't. It's boring, repetitive, don't stop when it should, and continue far after what is reasonable. How many times can Shirou decide that Archer is wrong? Seriously? How many times can he be crushed and then tap into hidden depth and be crushed again? What even is the point of those scenes?
I've read conflicting reports about the second season of Ufotable's UBW. Some say it had an issue with budget, other than there weren't enough material to adapt into a second season, and that's why it is so shit.
Logan Long
it doesn't get more mindless than a gacha game user.
so your saying you can make small changes such a bit of diffidence in when they died just not big changes
Matthew Edwards
I decided to stop being a secondaryfag, so I've been reading the VN in my free time for the past week.
I've only just summoned Saber.
For the entire sequence from Lancer showing up at Shirou's home, to him fleeing after failing to kill Saber, I did an experiment, where I rewrote everything I read, but concisely, while maintaining all the important theming.
Most of the time two "pages" could be condensed down to a single sentence. In particularly dense pages, one page could only be cut down to two sentences.
Yes. History thus stays the "same", Uruk is destroyed, Camelot falls, Rome is destroyed, the american civil war happens, etc etc, but the minor details are changed.
Jaxson Price
>I shortened Lord of the Rings to the "midget takes a ring to a mountain" >"Im so smart tehee xD"
Kys
Samuel Powell
You really are retarded if you think those episodes were just the Archer vs. Shirou fight and nothing else. There was Rin's whole situation spliced into every episode several times. There was Saber's reflection upon their situation and likening it to her own. The fight in the VN was equally as long, it just had a fuckload more inner monologue which was transferred to a visual format via symbolism. The actual fight is barely fucking 15 minutes in the anime so don't give me any of this "an hour and a half of repetition!" bullshit.
Shirou falls on his ass the exact same amount of times as in the anime. He experiences his flashbacks and hardens his ideal at the same time. The biggest difference from the anime and VN is that instead of projection various different swords they stick to Kanshou and Bakuya, the swords that represent truth and ideal through yin and yang. >If you didn't read the original material, I can sort of understand why you'd consider the Ufotable's adaptation of that fight decent. Don't pull that shit on me. You're not fooling anyone. The archer vs shirou fight was the climax of the entire route. Obviously it's going to get the most attention and focus.
The UBW movie was a rushed piece of shit that forgot the entire purpose of the fight in exchange for a really poorly animated sword fight where Shirou somehow overpowers Archer just because he shouted "you're wrong" the loudest. It doesn't do anything to explain why Shirou still pursues his path of heroism. Fuck, if anything it tries you sell you that "might makes right".
Cooper Gomez
the fact you can make small changes but not big ones seems arbitrary and contrived especially since logically the small changes would build up over time and result in big changes
I don't need to see Shirou explain what a he thinks a "fight" is. That it's a battle between two people, where both could potentially kill the other. And where both of them are trying to kill each other, so the outcome could go either way. What happened earlier was not a fight. But this, right now, is a real fight. But not just that. The girl called Saber is even pushing that man back.
I need to know that Shirou himself couldn't even put up a fight, but that girl, Saber, actually has him on the defensive.
Justin Torres
You could remove Taiga and Quetz from the story and nothing would change.
Anthony Reed
Shirou was explaining that him vs. Lancer wasn't a fight because it was completely one sided.
Congrats on not being able to extrapolate this information even after having it all laid out for you. You are literally too dumb for fate.
Sebastian Murphy
>Quetz >not important Look man you don't have to like her but that's just wrong.
>Guy who reads F/SN just to say he read the VN gets mad the writing isn't a condensed sparknotes and that it actually requires paying attention. How the fuck does F/SN draw in so many people with ADD?
Adam Roberts
The small changes mean jackshit, because timelocks. There are events that WILL happen regardless of timelines, Uruk and Camelot falling, Sefar's attack on Earth, Rome's collapse, Fuyuki Grail War, etc etc. They will happen, the details will be different, but they do happen.
For example, there was many instances of the "Fuyuki Grail War", there's the one in FSN, the one in UBW, the one in HF, the one in FGO, even Miyu's timeline had one. Different things happened in them, but the main point is that the "Fuyuki Grail War" happened.
Asher Butler
"couldn't even put up a fight" serves the same purpose in a single sentence fragment.
I don't want it laid out for me in that much obnoxious detail, because I'm perfectly capable of figuring that out without a long-winded explanation.
If you can't extrapolate that information without a paragraph-long explanation, you might be too dumb for reading in general.
Colton Powell
>remove quetz you know she's one of the main reasons Tiamat can't move right
Joseph Thompson
"I wish the VN was shorter" also serves yours, but I wouldn't say no to more information. You're not very far in the VN and you're already whining. I think it's a little too much for you; you show absolutely no tolerance and you treat it like a chore. Just drop the VN and admit you haven't read it when you butt into discussions from now on.
Michael Reyes
It doesn't need to be condensed as far as possible. I'm not asking for "I couldn't win, but Saber can."
But if you've read anything with actual quality to it, then this reeks of being intentionally drawn out as long as possible.
Hey, newfag. Yes, I know you're that newfag. Can easily tell with the filenames. Do you think you should at least, you know, know about the things you talk about before opening your dumb mouth? It isn't a fucking magician.
This particular fight at least animation wise is drawn out to pad it out. Monologues happen a lot faster irl so reading them in a VN isn't as vexing
Samuel Perry
Goetia destroyed the very mechanism that kept history under control, so what he did could not be automatically reverted. He bellows it at the top of his lungs, "Human Order Incineration Ritual: Goetia" is his true identity.
Leo Ramirez
>Can't magicians be normal? No. That's literally the point of them. You aren't a normal person if you're a mage. They're the kind of people to autism so hard that they'll literally cut themselves into multiple pieces, spread them across a building in an elaborate ritual to live forever as a spirit to reach the Root themselves rather than just give their crest to a sibling
Mages are autism incarnate
Carter Robinson
>"I wish the VN was shorter" also serves yours No, it doesn't. That explains "what," but not "why." It's missing information.
One of the most basic rules, for any kind of writing, is to not waste the reader's time. If you can express the same information with less words, do it.
The VN feels like Nasu is trying to reach a word count. Unless Shirou's opinion on what a "fight" is becomes a major theme down the line, and it doesn't need to be repeated at that point, it didn't need to be there.
Brody Lee
>Shirou falls on his ass the exact same amount of times as in the anime. He experiences his flashbacks and hardens his ideal at the same time. And that's fundamentally where you're wrong. That's where you don't understand why random people just find that fight boring.
In both Deen and the original VN, the fight between Shirou and Archer follows the same narrative pattern. I'm not talking about the rest of the work: DEEN's movie is a mess. I'm talking about that particular fight. In both, Shirou is unbelieving, he is crushed, and then find in himself the way to move forward with a flashback. It is the climax of the entire route, yes, but a climax that flows naturally, if only because it doesn't take 1:20:00 of screentime.
In Ufotable's fight, there are three (!) (3) flashbacks. Not one. Nor two. It's isn't like the novel or DEEN, nor is it an emotional climax of the route. You can't say that a 1:20:00 fight with three (3) flashbacks and seven (7) "get up after being crushed" scenes is an emotional climax of everything. It doesn't follow. The VN isn't like that, DEEN's adaptation isn't like that. Because Nasu, even though he isn't the best writer, knows that you can't drag down a fight for more than one hour by using the same narrative devices.
Ufotable sins by trying to push too much content into a single fight. Repeating the same patterns. Be defeated, find in yourself the way to move forward. Four times. Making it boring, without good reasons as to why.
Now, now, Ufotable's first season of UBW is almost perfect. I have nothing to say against it. I just wish that particular fight was better handled, or even that the second season of the anime was better handled.
Jordan Roberts
hey on I thought he hadn't done that yet wasn't he gathering energy from the singularities so he could that if he destroyed the mechanism that kept history under control how come we were still affected by its rules
Charles Martin
mean hang on
Elijah Powell
I think it's because ubw feels shorter in terms of meaningful development or exposition
Dylan Clark
>if only because it doesn't take 1:20:00 of screentime. There you go again: youtube.com/watch?v=onQNX6xao7A&t=8s Here. A 12 minute video of the entire fight of Archer vs. Shirou without any of the other side content. This is JUST the Archer vs. Shirou fight. You're literally complaining the fight isn't fast enough. Too bad. In the VN the fight was long as fuck too. I know, I read the route three goddamn times. >In Ufotable's fight, there are three (!) (3) flashbacks. Another method of incorporating inner monologue into visual information.
Now shut the fuck up about the hour and a half long fight when it clearly WASN'T an hour an a half long. It was 12 minutes Shut your fucking mouth and leave.
Eli Perez
You are so ignorant yet you manage to almost sound convincing by being a liar lol.
Tyler Nguyen
He had already completed that by the time you start the game. Anyway, the rules came back after you defeat him.
Connor Campbell
but you don't defeat him until after all the singularities so how can the rules still be affecting you during the singularities.
Charles Carter
>Because Nasu, even though he isn't the best writer, knows that you can't drag down a fight for more than one hour by using the same narrative devices. Nasu was directly involved in the production of the UBW anime by ufotable and all the changes are because of him, changes he wished to make after the VN was completed.
Mason Ross
Cause it all works again retroactively. Time travel works like that.
Ethan Ward
so your saying the rules still effected you cause you were destined to win?
Gavin Williams
I know I'm going to get lynched for bringing it up but Homestuck does a good job with time travel. Everything is pre-destined, everything happens because it already happened. Certain characters time travel back to cause an event specifically because it already happened and knowing about it won't change dick all. Those kids are effectively trapped in a narrative where everything is already decided for them and they just go through the motions.
It's fine, most Fate works aren't good to begin with and Babylonia was only cool because of the sheer scope of the stakes. The characters and plot were still fucking shit so it goes without saying it'll be poorly adapted too.
Carter Flores
>Because Gilgamesh and Enkidu's past doesn't need to be told. It absolutely does. I have no idea how poeple think otherwise. Nobody likes the Gilgamesh and Enkidu dynamic, because we're just told they were bros. We never get to SEE this. Imagine giving a shit about Enkidu/Kingu struggles and what they feel about Gil if we never get to see them interact before all this went down? It breaks one of the most important tenets of writing.
Christian Flores
>She is neither as strong as they are Yes she is. She has backup from the planet same as them, which has always been what made TAs powerful. Shit like Marble phantasm and +1 backup are Arcueid's personal buffs or reserved for the strongest TAs. TAs are hunted down and killed. Hinako actually had good feats.
Aiden Morales
Actually Babylonia - was pretty great animation. a-1 being the studio doesn't mean anything. The animators themselves are great.
Joshua Martin
I liked it. It was better quality than the previous specials, or at least First Order. Eggplant was as cute as usual, one of the few forced mobage main girls I actually like.
Lucas Rodriguez
Why are they lewding the eggplant? I thought she was not for lewd?
To be fair in every other timeline he is alright for a Magus at least. He commits suicide taking Flauros with him so that Flauros can't initiate the incineration of humanity
Justin Phillips
Poor Mashu ;~;
Joshua Morris
Grand Bomber
Aaron Edwards
Lol and he ends up summoning his(her) son(daughter) later.
>don't self insert into gudako >all those twitter and Pixiv images of gudakos sweeping and being swept off their feet by the likes of roman, gil, dantes, and any round table knight Maybe at a lesser rate, but at all? You can't be serious.
Landon Turner
I agree, that's why I hope the anime includes their story. I mean when Kingu goes how this feeling in his chest is not his, getting dreams of Gilkidu back in the day, can't harm Gil, the last words of Shiduri etc it will be heavier and better if we see their past.
Eli Bennett
Filthy secondary here. Why did Salter know what the Grand OIrder was in the first OAV? Why she wasn't letting the Singularity collapse?
Ayden James
She's a Guardian of Humanity.
Angel Flores
Don't forget the non-magus MC who feels compelled to sacrifice herself for others. Too bad it's not nearly as good as that makes it sound.
i wonder what enuma elish will look like this time around. will it just be some red wind effects or will it actually temporarily break the fabric of the world like in CCC and FGO
Hudson Flores
>removing Benkei Send yourself to the Pure Land.
Brandon Butler
I love this one but we need official stuff too. We only have some art here and there from FGO but nothing more. I hope it changes with the anime.
>"That's the King of Knights, His Royal Majesty Arthur...! To think we'd meet again... (starts crying) ...My deepest apologies... My deepest apologies...! ...For I wasn't able to take part in your final battle...!" >"Sir Bedivere! It's really you! ...Huh? What has happened to you arm? It's changed completely... What happened to it?" >"Good day, Dearest Brother. .......Gawain? Ahahaha... Would you please stop ruffling my hair? I'll get upset. ...Even so, Brother, I am happy to see you. I love you!" >"This is Mordred's presence... Hmmm... I'd love to speak to him more but I can't seem to find the opportunity..." >"Infidelity is wrong! Sir Tristan. Sir Tristan! Please stop looking away, Sir Tristan!" >"...T-To be honest, I can't really deal with Merlin. I like him, but he's also a bit frightening... I don't really understand why. Master, please don't tell Merlin about this." >"Huh? Sir Galahad? ...You ARE Sir Galahad, are you not? Why have you turned into a girl? ...Ah! I was wrong, you're Ms. Mash! My apologies! Ahaha, I just..." >"HYAAA! No way! No way no way no way! To think this could happen! I can't believe it! ...To think Sir Lancelot would be here...! How could that be! Awawawawa...! What should I do!?" >"This sinister presence... He looks just as he did on the day he took my life. Sir Lancelot... Even now, it seems my voice cannot reach you..." >"Oho! A knight of the Franks! Let us speak of lances together! Indeed, let us speak of lances!" >"...Huh? His Majesty King Arthor...? Wait, you seem rather different... Um, I beg of you to forgive my rudeness, but... I think riding upon a horse indoors is a little..." >"His Majesty? ...You ARE His Majesty, right? ...Huh?"
Asher Hill
>Both versions are some of the worst servants in their class
Redpill me on this Saberface and little girl Nobunaga are they good additions to Fate?
Nicholas Richardson
They're from a gag series called Koha Ace. The joke is that male heroes keep getting turned into girls. Okita's joke was that Takeuchi was gonna design a new Servant but it just turned out to be a Saberface. They were really popular so they were added to FGO. Most of their events are gags.
Aiden Carter
>additions
They been around for a long time, well before FGO came out
Both are jokes from a joke manga but people loved them so they got added to FGO. Okita is from this old police samurai organization and Nobunaga is well Nobunaga.
>"Heracles! If it isn't Heracles! Hahaha! Your scowl is dreary as ever! If anything, I can rest easy! Alright, I'll leave the rest to you. As always, let's wrap things up quickly!" >"KAAAHHH! The ex-wife!! I'm sorry alright, just don't turn me into a figure! ...Huh? You have no such intention? DON'T LIE!! SHOW ME YOUR WORKSHIP!!" >"...The Medea who knew no fear, from when she met me in my adventuring days. ...Ugh, how lovely. No matter how many times I see her, she's just beautiful. She's taken from before she would be made my wife, I see. As it was the goddess's order, it couldn't be helped. But even so! That's an entirely separate matter! Even if it's for my sake, to have her slice her own brother apart! Anyone would be shocked by that! It wasn't my fault!" >"The stench of a cat, Atalante, is it? Your face is as depressing as usual. That's exactly why you're hated by children. AH, I WAS KIDDING, IT'S A JOKE, PUT AWAY YOUR BOW, YOUR BOOOOOWWWW!!" >"What, if it isn't Instructor Cheiron. There's nothing more I want to learn from you. I mean, I've already mastered everything. No, why are you taking out your textbooks!? A randoseru!? Are you telling me to wear a randoseru!?" >"This stench of medicinal herbs... Ascrepius, is it? As usual, you're a man who cares for nothing besides medicine, but... As long as you're here, there's nothing to fear. Give priority to my health above all else. Of course, you can put the bill on my tab."
Brandon Robinson
Jason quotes?
Dominic Baker
Based Jason
James Ortiz
When is DKNobu coming to NA?
Joshua Foster
based Cheiron
Isaac Brown
Nothing for Achilles? I guess that was before his time but I was hoping he would comment about Pellus.
Achilles doesn't apply for his Argonaut buff, so it's probably due to that (Paris and Circe do get his buff though)
Jace Myers
Can't wait for Sima Yi,hearing good things about that old man(girl).
Jordan Hill
Oh, by the way. Paris is a little boy because Apollo likes little boys.
James Scott
Good fuck Paris let the trapfags have him little fucker caused to much suffering on both sides of the war.
Isaac Barnes
BB is pretty much just a more haughty, memeish Hollow Sakura. The original will likely sigh at her antics and give more stoic, but colder ice burns. After all, if there is anyone Sakura is harshest to, its herself, so I expect the colder part of her to come out if BB starts being too fresh. If not, it'll be sweetness as they feed off each other.
Josiah Foster
>t.Achilles
Gabriel Brown
Man, Gareth is prime grail material. Wish she was 3*, but oh well. If you give her a few grails, she should be a pretty decent tank.
Justin Russell
Newer F2P servants have been better than various early 4 stars.
Jack Cruz
>Cu Alter in Camelot desert Best boy crutch support gets his due
Easton Lee
Gareth is a She? well being Saber's nephew i shouldn't be surprised, but i still am.
Angel Gray
There have always been a few decent f2ps. Cu Chulainn, Mozart and Andersen come to mind.
Cameron Thompson
Man, this is as bad as the diary scene in Hollow about Sakura with Shinji and Zouken. Nasu really tries to make the most awful people humorous. Only one I don't think he tries to get silly yucks out of is Makihisa/Kohaku.
Nasu didn't write Jason. Though he did approve him. Besides, FGO's Jason has a lot of fans. People went ballistic when he became available in the gacha finally. Plus he's a 1* FP unit so literally anyone can get him.
His primary purpose is as a support character. He's not that strong, but he has decent buffs, particularly for Argonaut-attribute units. That means that Heracles, Medea, Other Medea, Evilcat, Berserkercat, Circe, Cheiron and some others I think benefit from being on the same team as him.
David Perry
Oh fuck, I'll never be able to unsee the hands
Hudson Allen
Atalante confirmed for smelling of cat piss
Leo Miller
Jason did nothing wrong though
Nicholas Parker
>knight of the Franks Is this referring to Astolfo?
shame there's no comment on gray/kay
Adrian James
It's not uncommon for rip-offs to miss what made the original compelling. Also, Shirou doesn't admire self-sacrifice, he spends the entire Fate route hating it, his ideals are just tainted by his survivor's guilt to the point where he doesn't consider himself as part of "the ending where everyone is happy."
Matthew Roberts
don't you mean >t.Menelaus, wifebeater
Robert Peterson
How can they make King Hassan entrance impactful if they skip Camelot? Its literally one of the hypest moments in the entire game
Anthony Bennett
Im the reason Fate is a successful you honestly think Nasus shitty Otome story was gonna move sales?
You should be more surprised that there aren't more genderflips among the Round Table. Confirmed Knights of the Round Table are:
>King Arthur (cute) >Kay (tsundere nii-chan) >Bedivere (I hope waga ou notices me) >Gawain (stupid gorilla) >Lancelot (ruiner of everything) >Agravain (bitchy secretary) >Gareth (only other confirmed girl) >Tristan (open mouth insert foot) >Bors (no design or profile) >Gaheris (no design or profile) >Mordred (idiot) >Percival (King Arthur's #1 fan) >Galahad (daddy issues)
Chase Reyes
That or Bradamante since she's a lancer too
Camden Hernandez
That would make more sense, due to the Merlin connection and all
Nicholas Torres
It's so Nasu can still make her shitty otome game
Eli Torres
Look, we all know she's not perfect, but I don't think it's fair to call Sakura one of "the most awful people."
Cooper Baker
>Gets to draw various versions of his waifu >probably jacked off to the porn scenes he wrote in F/SN >Is set for life with various company vacations to Hawaii and all the work he does is in photoshop >All becasue he told Nasu "we should make King Arthur a girl"
How can one man be so based?
Evan Lopez
Why not just make Fate/Prototype? That's an otome game.
Jeremiah Morris
I think once heavens feel 3 is finished we either move to HA or Prototype gets a full adaption.
Carson Rogers
Speaking of the KOTR, why didn't the Lion King remember who Bedivere was? Was that ever explained?
Incidentally, Lancelot is the worst. The absolute worst. Gareth was unarmed. She had absolutely no intention of fighting. Lancelot smashed her head in just for being there in a violent frenzy.
Aaron Morales
He also told Nasu to make twin maids. As far as I'm concerned, Takeuchi can copy all he fucking wants. He already produced enough content for a lifetime
Asher Ross
That and he literally took in Nasu's ass to live with him while also being the only one actually working/selling a ton of his collection to fund them.
As much as you can bitch about his art no one can talk shit about Takeuchi's role in making the company a success. He did everything perfectly
Isaiah Smith
Has anyone ever doubted that Lance "French fanfiction" lot was a piece of shit? There's a reason he goes full retard in F/Z
Camden Richardson
He never speaks of Gareth once. All he does is whine about how his king never punished him. He doesn't give a single solitary shit about the girl who admired him more than anyone, whom he murdered with his own hands. To make matters worse, Saber probably blames herself for her death as well.
Gareth's greatest regret is not being able to take part in the Battle of Camlann at her King's side. Because she was dead before it could happen.
Benjamin Morales
Sorry, you can't spin that to her when it's obvious I was talking about the useless Shinji and Zouken who can't even wash a damn dish.
Matthew Rodriguez
Did they purposely make Chen Gong the worst unit in the game?
Carson Lee
don't you mean the best?
Jackson Taylor
What? He's unironically broken as fuck.
Mason Martinez
I like to imagine the whole event going down like a FUCKING GAMESTOP story with Lancelot spilling spaghetti while raving about "rescue Guinevere" and "please punish me."
Austin Russell
Shouldn't you be off slaying your kin, Sakura?
Easton Collins
Reminder both Fate and Monty Python and Quest for the holy grail are the only accurate portrays of this fucking psycho.
He's a free Plugsuit switcher, why would you think he's bad?
Nathan Ross
>Chen Gong: I was just about to go wild with my own prided tactic. >Red Hare: That’s because Chen Gong-dono’s only tactic is just "Right there, blow yourself up" isn’t it!? I’m not a robot so that’d kill me! Also IMO i don't think he is bad though...
He can't even use his Noble Phantasm if there's no one to sacrifice.
Ethan Hall
>targetable taunt >waver's defense skill >hero creation lite fantastic skills >NP has massive damage >gets rid of useless ally, fantastic for farming >more damage on overcharge he's the best low rarity servant in the game now
Kintoki has a unique skill as a berserker that lets him keep his sanity.
Lincoln Jackson
Hijikata is very crazy though Okita herself did not realize it becasue thats how he acted before he died and when he was alive he was borderline insane.
Thomas Carter
Kay: Couldn't deal with how his imouto was basically sacrificing herself day and night. Bedivere: His greatest regret was that he couldn't see his King's smile. Gawain: There's no helping this idiot. Lancelot: Name one thing, ONE fucking thing this idiot ever did right. Agravain: You can't do much about poor upbringing. If only he didn't have a stick rammed up his ass all the time. Gareth: Cute, but has the worst taste in men. Tristan: The perfect example of someone who says things he doesn't mean and regrets those words for the rest of his life. Mordred: You can't do much about poor upbringing. If only she weren't dropped on her head as a baby. Galahad: Kind of a dick.
Arash's NP kills himself. Waver charges people's NP. Essentially he's waiting for him to die.
Chen Gong's NP kills his allies.
Kayden Jackson
Gareth was super horny for Lyonesse.
Ethan Garcia
But why
Nicholas Rogers
That's how he works, see
Ayden Allen
Okita herself might be a dumbo but when she’s fighting she goes all out she calls herself manslayer all the time.
Eli Rogers
It's the new farming strat. Waver used to buff Arash to kill himself, now he's buffing Chen Gong who kills him instead.
Aaron Wright
>be solomon >want to become a human >win the grail war you get summoned into >make your wish to become human >become a wageslave are they trying to say something
Xavier Garcia
From left to right (not counting Mafia cuz he is MC): >Okubo Rumi: Eli, Astolfo >Hayami Saori: Martha, Atalanta, Melt, Ushi >Kawasumi Ayako: Seiba, Fou, Anne >Shimazaki Nobunaga: Arjuna, Dantes, Gudao >Akabane Kenji: Kadoc >Yuuki Aoi: Okita, Tiamat, Shuten, Jinako >Tanaka Minami: Ortlinde, Nito >Tsuruoka Satoshi: Arash, Spartacus, Gilles, Caligula
Gareth is pure. Lancelot never fucked her. Lancelot only fucks married women. Gareth's greatest regret is not being able to fight by her king's side in the end. She can't even look Saber in the face without bursting into tears.
Gareth is one of the few members of the Round Table that Mordred liked, the other being Agravain.
Levi Morris
then would gareth put out? this is very important
Leo Ross
All the Knights of the Round Table would put out for their king.
Ryder Adams
Kay sounds like the kind of person Mordred would get along with tbf, but I guess they never got a chance to actually interact normally since she was hiding her identity with the armor.
Liam Perry
Dear god the second girls arms
Jaxon Moore
I wonder if we'll get a Gareth Alter based off of her descriptions in the Camelot Singularity.
How will Gareth react when she learns that her king is a girl?
Isaac Jackson
too dumb to realize
Joseph Brown
Does she even realize she is a girl?
Grayson King
Strictly speaking, the only RTKs who knew were Kay and Lancelot. But, well. One look at the Summer version and you'd figure it out instantly.
Joseph Adams
That's an alt world version, that's what they tell themselves. Chaldea is full of alt world versions of their king so they can pass off any explanation they want.
Grayson Richardson
At Chaldea, she doesn't normally have all her armor on. Her top doesn't cover the minimal cleavage she has.
Connor Morales
She has the chest of a fifteen year old boy. Even if she was topless they wouldn't see her as a girl.
alt world version, the knights understand that. Its not the same as their king.
See how easy that excuse is for the knights. They already know that many alt world versions of their king exist in Chaldea.
Ayden Garcia
>"Yeah, surely she's just a version of our King from another world. Isn't that right, Sir Lancelot?" >Lancelot looks away >"...Sir Lancelot?" >Lancelot refuses to meet anyone's eyes >"........"
Robert Richardson
It'll be revealed in Lostbelt 7 when we find out Daybit is actually good and Marisbury is the final boss. That's why Daybit is the last Crypter, he'll deliver the last revelation.
This look at the fucking episode. They show Flauros awakening/stirring directly connected to Marisbury (he's in his fucking office where he shot himself as the alarm for the crisis run the first time). Marisbury's death and actions triggered everything. And we won't find out the truth behind it all until Lostbelt VII.
>alt world version, the knights understand that. Its not the same as their king. No, the KOTR recognise her as the king but don't recognise that she's a woman. My headcanon is that Bedivere's character design blinded the KOTR to Artoria clearly looking like a woman.
Sebastian Allen
Seeing all those singularities was nice. Thank fuck we don't have to sit through them though.
I hated it so I started skipping most of the cutscenes.
Logan Thompson
For Shirou it's not about guilt. Shirou associates happiness only with saving others. When he first woke up from being erased by the fire, he saw Kiritsugu crying while saving him. Shirou is empty like Kotomine but in a different way.
Tyler Wood
There's nothing interesting about this. It's just candy for fgo players
Connor Kelly
Can you blame them? The cutscenes in the game are just static images of the characters with a dialogue box that's literally nothing but dialogue. It's the most boring, half-assed way you can possibly tell a story in a JRPG.
Evan Ward
Welcome to Type Moon circa Reiwa era. Feel free to head to the bunker known as /tmg/ to talk about the good old days.
Colton Wood
To comfort him with the strong arms of Beochad, of course
Tyler Murphy
Lmao,I can feel the split of the fanbase
Hudson Taylor
There are multiple times in each route where Shirou explicitly states that he has to do something because he has a responsibility to all the people who died in his place that day. UBW retroactively puts a positive spin on it, but it doesn't change the fact that his craving for becoming a seigi no mikata is rooted in severe mental trauma.
user, the split is already a thing for years. We literally have the fgo gacha addicts over at the generals on /vg/ and the dying tsukihime old men on /jp/
Ian Flores
Its funny that I saw actual Tsukihime discussion on /vg/ before while all I saw when I peered into /tmg/ was people seething and a Dies Iraefag spamming shit.
Justin Johnson
The real problem is that Takeuchi ignores all the muscles and scars she's supposed to have. The knights see a better disguise than the audience.
Colton Jones
>Scars You do know she has a healing factor, right?
Yeah, her reaction to finding Holmes in Atlas was "wow! it's sherlock holmes! the legendary detective is real!"
Benjamin Gutierrez
You know that scars are part of the normal healing process right?
Brody Peterson
She had Avalon for most of her reign. Avalon healed Shirou's body so perfectly that not a single bit of evidence ever remained of his injuries.
Henry Roberts
In fact, magic healing never seems to leave any scars. After Rin healed Shirou's Gae Bolg wound in the prologue, it was as if nothing happened.
Isaac Jackson
IIRC the scene where she complains about her muscles mentions scars too, but its been awhile.
Logan Johnson
She's just self-conscious. I mean, her body hasn't changed at all since she first picked up her sword, so how much muscle could she possibly have? Unless she went through strenuous body-building exercises before she turned fourteen.
Ian Garcia
Merlin gave her magic protein shakes if you catch my drift. Even with magic swords you still need some strength to swing it and do normal fighting stuff.
Liam Reed
Using Rhongomyniad turned Artoria into a divine spirit, overwriting her previous personality and memories. Basically, she was being possessed by the spear.
Juan Gomez
But she knew all her other knights.
Oliver Russell
When Saber isn't charging her body with mana, she's weaker than Rin. When she darts around the battle field blowing enemies away, that's all due to Mana Burst.
Nathaniel Jones
Because they were heroic spirits and able to be summoned. Remember that every KOTR in camelot was a servant summoned by rhongobongo except except for Bedivere. He only became summonable after camelot so it makes sense she only knew about the ones that were heroic spirits
