Make sure to claim your frames before you do them. For the frames in green pick a character and follow them for the duration of the frames you choose, when you claim say the frames and the character, if you don't know their name say their position in the first frame they're in in your section. As for deadlines, there aren't any but if it's been a few weeks since your claim and you haven't posted a wip then your frames will be reopened. If you want to do inbetweens you can ask and I'll render them for you. Please only draw the character not the background. On a similar note, if you think you have 0 artistic talent in the slightest and don't fancy trying your hand at drawing a character, you can draw a background, I'll add the spotlight, but as long as it has a floor in the same position as the original go wild.

Hey OP, is there something in AE that automatically adds the subtle glow effect that's in most of the original? Best frames I could find to describe it is 191-193, it's most obvious around where her dress overlaps his pants. Or anywhere white overlaps black, but it seems to affect every color. If you're not doing that I might autistically do it in my section.

There is a glow effect and luminosity but neither will give that bleed effect so feel free to do it in your frames.
On a similar note I wanted to put a question out,should I add all the colours and confetti to 216-237 or leave it as it is?I think adding it would tie the frames up nicely but leaving it would better preserve the feel of Yea Forums draws so I wanted some opinions.
I'd say leave it without the colours and confetti, at least that way the characters Yea Forumsnons draw will be more visible, I think giving it that raw Yea Forums feel is more important than trying to emulate the original.

I think you should do it since those ones are being done by multiple anons in the same frame anyway, like you said it ties it up nicely, and it really adds to the chaotic feel of that section with so many characters. It doesn't make the characters in the original any less visible, but even if it is fucking with someone's draws you could just dial it back a bit. You're doing all the shadows and the spotlight, so there's already a lot of stylistic unification going on that there otherwise wouldn't be in an Yea Forums draws.

I like that a lot, if opinion trends toward aesthetics I hope that gets used. I'd say the shape of the confetti might be good for that too, but since it flips around in the air someone would have to make a custom confetti render in 3D. I don't think it'd be hard to do once I finish my section, but if someone who actually knows what they're doing in 3D programs did it that would be better. It being shitty animation would be good but I still haven't bothered to figure out how to do a clean render.

Can't argue with trips, I like the idea of the spotlight being a 4 leaf clover so I'll see what I can so with that, I should be able to handle the confetti.
Here's 261, I went for a classic. I ended up not doing a background, having random mayonnaise flying about in the background seemed too much, and I didn't want to just copy a screenshot of Asuka laying there, hopefully it isn't a problem.
Claiming 262-264, I'd like to claim both characters, I'm thinking of drawing an inseparable pair. Also OP could you please link me the frames not cut in half?

I personally like the alternate version more, feels more show accurate. The other one I can only assume you wanted crazy color glows like in the ending, but i'm not sure since you're using gradients instead of a solid color. It might work if it was a gradient gif that cycled through, but otherwise not so much.

Thanks. I can't stop seeing it as yellow, but apparently it's purplish silver. She's on a few of the volume covers, but never with his eyes open, so I just used it for the eye color.
Draw as much as you want, if you're not comfortable drawing the whole body I can probably maneuver the other characters in the frame to cover what's missing.
pants definitely could be looser at the bottom, but mostly it's his face. the hair looks really good but you basically gave his head lucky star anatomy. make his mouth/nose bigger and his eye higher and a little smaller, less lashy lashes would help as well. maybe define a squarer jaw, i think that's a big part of how arakawa kept him from just looking like a tomboyish girl
Question: My frames have White and Black at an angle so their feet are slightly hidden, should I draw the feet as they are? I don't know if it'll mess with another user's frames. I claimed the frames a week and half ago but I've really busy please don't be mean.
It's coming up on the two week mark for frames 101-103,135 and 169-170, if you own any of there's make sure to let me know you'll still be doing them, you don't need to show anything just a heads up or I'll open the frames.
I'm considering taking 197 D as well, but it might not fit who I'm going to try to accommodate for it (guy is way skinnier compared to him)
