I'm a few weeks behind, so I only watched the first episode of this tonight, along with the first episode of Arifureta, which I didn't enjoy nearly as much.
I guess it goes to show that production values aren't everything. Also, I think it demonstrates well that with isekai being so over-saturated at this point, that if you're going to do the genre, you should at least have fun with it and not take it too seriously.
Mommy is shaping up to be my AOTS, though. But then, that's another example of the same principle.
