This. Although that might just be the nostalgia factor, because it was one of the first (if not the very first) synth-heavy J-pop EDs that I can remember actually making it to American TV. Up until around that time, most anime OPs and EDs were either re-done for America, or just skipped outright (even in Inuyasha's case, they skipped the OP in order to add more commercial time). Outlaw Star and Cowboy Bebop had made it through with themes intact before that, but the weren't typical J-pop.

Compared to something like Rinne, Inuyasha is actually pretty well paced. It got right to the point pretty quickly.

children are often mad over thoughtful, utility gifts. Think of how many children whine over not getting some game as opposed to something useful.

There were several hints / explanations in the series. Sesshomaru was already strong enough, inuyasha was kind of weak and needed power, the sword only reacted to kind / neutral towards humans unlike sesshomaru who probably displayed his hatred for them in the past, etc.

There would be a very easy way to get around that. Not everyone in the past is everyone's ancestor. All she needs to do is be part of a different ancestral line then the ones who eventually make her. Alternatively, the way genes work, with only 50% being passed on from each person, it's entirely possible her genetics are completely gone from the ancestral line by the modern era.

Not in the show but it's kind of a background cultural thing in certain regions / religions of the world, japan being one of them. As man progressed, the spiritual world took a step back. It's a relatively common theme.

Sesshomaru killed the Demon, saved Jaken's Goblins, and he's swore allegiance to him ever since.

He walked into their camp, stood in the middle of it and demanded for a boat. They didn't drag him from the forest like a prisoner, he literally walked to them, killed their leader and then they tried attacking him.
Sess in modern era would walk straight into traffic, cut a car or two in half when they would almost run him over and then attack whatever policeman would try to seize him.

That is headcanon and never implied nor stated in the episode. In fact, it would go against his character to just stand around and wait for others to come to him when he's always shown actively looking for his prey.
