The anime should be watched in broadcast order, like with everything else. Kizu is the only possible exception, since it was in development hell for so many years. When you watch the Kizu movies is honestly up to you, so long as it's after Bake. It's basically the MC's origin story, whereas the rest of the series is the MC navigating the various problems the side characters are facing. Some people recommend watching Kizu right after Bake (because that was the novel order), but I personally think not being able to watch it until later on enriched my overall experience.

They really are. I always like to bring up the example of Nadeko Snake here, because SHAFT really fucked up when adapting it. You see, in the novels the arc is mainly about Kanbaru's relationship with Araragi after she tried to kill him. Despite being the eponymous character, Nadeko is not the focus of the arc. She's merely introduced. The anime completely screws this dynamic up by cutting the majority of Kanbaru's dialogue and shifting the focus to Nadeko, who hasn't received much in the way of characterization. The result is probably the worst arc in Bake.
Also, to give another Kanbaru example and as a counterpoint to , Rouka's monologue in the Hana novel is great and presented incredibly well. The anime cuts it down heavily in the interest of time, significantly lessening its impact.

Nisio cornered himself by creating her too late (it was basically a character he created while thinking about Araragi class during Ougi Formula, and it was originally supposed to be a male childhood friend when he was writing Kizu). Since the story is non linear (we knew she wasn't there before and after) and at that point he might have been expecting the story to end in owari he had to begin and finish her story with Araragi in one book.
Though she becomes a regular after Hana since it doesn't conflict with anything previously written, and Sodachi Fiasco really improves the conclusion of Sodachi Lost by removing the "she was magically better after some comfort words and facing the truth" bullshit Araragi came up with as narrator.

The novels are the definitive version of the story but the anime and manga have their merits in how they present it. They're worthwhile supplements is what I'm saying.
The anime cuts a lot of good material but it still adds great visuals and sound to what it does adapt. The manga is more faithful to the novels in giving the complete picture of the story and characters but it takes its own liberties, adding and changing things to paint its own picture of the story.

No, what grinds my gears is how Araragi has incredibly important and meaningful emotional connections with so many other members of the cast and nothing of the sort with Senjougahara; not to mention that her chemistry with him is on the low end. Honestly the extent of what she represents in his heart - what she ultimately means to him - is a sense of "normalcy". There's this element of comfort he finds in that (something that's admittedly done well for what it is), but it seems so weak compared to the spaces other girls seem to fill in his heart. She's not "the one who makes him happiest" and she's not "his treasure". She's not "the person who made him who he is", nor is she his idol or his pal. Honestly it doesn't even seem like she's the one he loves most romantically - I'd put his sister over her if anything. She's just his "normal human girlfriend".
But then, this is something I've never seen eye to eye with him on. I'm really similar to him in an almost scary number of ways, but one of the few differences is that he values "a normal human life". In a sense, Nisio does write Crab x Koyomi out of an obligation. He has an obligation to her as an element in the story, but it's somewhat apparent that she's not high on his list of favorite topics to write about, so you get that impression. I mean, shit. Nadeko's pretty much Nisio's favorite character, and thus she has mountains of storytelling about her. Compare that to Senjo, and it's clear that he operates on the basis of favoritism.
