Well, he made a tweet about the Kyoani fire some hours after the news broke and by the wording of the tweet it seems he was very sad, but how much of his sadness came from being a fan of anime or as a fellow animator or as a fellow Japanese citizen I do not know.
Also on the Kemurikusa special event on July 20th, that is some days after the fire, they did not talk about that thing, but there is reports about him getting a little less skinny and with a little more hair, so it seems his health is just alright.

That area does seem to be where lots of people complain though. He's like a mix of Serval and Kaban except not a girl so not as cute doing those things, or depending on how you look at it he acts much like a little brother constantly asking about everything. Also, I meant more of Wakaba being there from the true start as he appeared in the original Kemurikusa, with only slight differences. I was jumping to conclusions a bit so it's my bad if you're not actually one of the /u/fags but almost every time, even in the older threads, it was a forced meme by prickposter and other del/u/sional anons who can't handle males. Wakaba is a deconstruction of the beta harem MC.
Episode 1 was brimming with all the cliches of a useless guy and a girl who just suddenly fell in love at first sight.
But we all came to discover that useless guy was far from it at all.

He was like Sam of Lord of the Rings. He has no powers, no name, no legend to fulfill, nothing but a sense of heroism.
He never had the glamour and shine of the power fantasy turds.
Nor did he had the heavenly situation of the self-insert fags.
He is just an average joe who does what must be done.

If he is not on the show, it would be just a dull exploration of a post apo setting. His entire purpose was childlike curiosity and a mature sense of responsibility

Pretty normal trend, the difference would be worrisome if, for example, Shiro or Midori were getting more fanarts than him or if Rin or someone else of the three main sisters were getting like five times the amount of fanarts of Wakaba.

No as far as I know, that shit must cost a lot of money and take a lot of manpower hours and knowledge to make, until now I have only seen two guys making a completely functional Shiro robot, although I like best the one on the video even though it is a little bit smaller than the one done by the other guy.

Nah, the oimo thing was started by the fans and then got a bigger push when Tatsuki posted the wagging oimo tail gif, basically that means that sometimes official pictures hit the nail and that results on an explosion of fanart and fan works and on the birth of a new meme.

The nice thing is that Yaoyorozu was faithful to tradition and released Kemurikusa as an half price show like KF1, so you can get the whole series for 22680 yen, that is half the price of 45360 yen that would cost your average 12 episodes on 6 volumes late night anime, plus you get a lot of extras both on disc and accompanying the discs, so I think is a pretty fair deal.
I would only be interested on a dub if they translate all the audio commentaries and booklets, if they do the bare minimum job of making a dub and dubtitles and then slapping that on two BD50s put inside a simple BD case then I am not interested on an US release.

What's in store for Tatsuki now?

The people is expecting him to release a DVD with the Twitter shorts on the fourth day of the Comiket on Monday, August 12 and if we are very lucky an announcement of a new TV series.

Green Kemurikusa only returns things to their original state, but I imagine Wakaba's connection to it is pretty unique. I'd like to think there was a little bit of Wakaba in Midori, just so Ritsu's connection with was more than just her projecting her own feelings onto plan.

Well, that is the problem, each case is unique, because they did use different sorts of Kemurikusa on different ways and with different results, so that is a bit like the Ship of Theseus.
And yeah, how much of Riri personality and memories influenced the sisters and their way of living before and after they meet Wakaba is something interesting, for example, some of the phases used by Doc Wakaba on the eleventh episode are similar to phrases used by Ritsu early on on the series
