Realistically, how likely is it that Tsukihime Remake will flop?
Realistically, how likely is it that Tsukihime Remake will flop?
whys the bottom one look like persona?
Not very likely. TYPE-MOON has a ton of fans and Tsukihime is still a significant brand. As a VN, I seriously doubt it would sell as much as a proper game and it won't touch Fate/Grand Order, but as the title that kickstarted TYPE-MOON as an entity (Kara no Kyoukai was written before the doujin circle TYPE-MOON was formed), there are doubtless a ton of people who will buy it.
The new designs are absolutely disgusting.
>It's new so it's shit
>EKKUSUUUU
>KARIBAAAAAAAAAAA
NuType-moon "fans" like you are the cancer that made them what they are today.
It will never happen anyway.
That's just Takeuchi's fault for only having three or four faces in the first place. To begin with, the only thing that distinguished Arcueid's face from Saber's was the longer eyelashes.
Hisui is the proto-Saberface and she doesn't look all that similar to Arc or any of the other Tsukihime girls anyway.
Even if it ever comes out it would be shit, Nasu hasn't written anything good in years and Takeuchi art it's worse than ever.
No, there was also eye size. Now nothing separates them.
Takeuchi was always homogenous but be increasingly became so samey over the years that it's laughable.
Being forgotten is the best thing for Tsukihime. I really don't understand why so many Tsukifags fail to understand this - they'll rightly rag on Nasu for putting out mediocrity at best - garbage at worst - for the past 5 years, but then they'll scream about how they want Tsukihime Remake when in all likelyhood it wouldn't turn out the way they want it to anyway.
1. It isn't going to be a traditional visual novel. Nasu is through with that.
2. It will, in all likelyhood, pander heavily to the new fanbase, one which doesn't care about classic TM nor its common elements (low-level, personal conflict, urban settings, gothic horror zero, deranged protagonists, etc.)
3. An FGO crossover is inevitable. The characters will be whored out and degraded so TM fan make a few extra bucks by shilling it to an audience that only cares collecting jpgs to wack off to.
4. Garbage modern Takeuchi "art"
And that's if it comes out. Move on. It has been 10 years and it will likely be another 2-3 before you can *hope* for Nasu to *possibly* turn his attention towards it, and likely another few years after that because Nasu can never do anything on time. 15 years for a Remake of a visual novel which arguably just needed an editing pass and nothing more. I know some people are stupidly attached to Tsukihime and I've seen a lot of people act as if their life was on halt because of it, and, let me tell you, it isn't worth it. Nasu isn't worth your time anymore, and he's certainly not worth your anger. Nasu left his old audience behind and moved onto the mainstream. No-one owes it to him to get depressed over that fact.
FGO will have polls sometimes asking players what sorts of things they want in the future and Tsukhime event/ Tsukihime characters are always up there so there is still definitely a market for it
Absolutely pathetic
I don't want another shitty soulless VN
A remake wouldn't "flop" per say, it just wouldn't be nearly as successful as Fate and people will call it a flop because of this.
F
Given Mahoyo was something like 7th best selling VN of 2012 (despite being 15 hours long with no voices and no H-scenes), Nasu would need to do something really stupid for Tsukihime to flop.
Are non-porn/gacha VNs even much of a thing anymore? I don't hear about them much, but that probably has more to do with me than anything
New porn VNs are released like every week. The market's completely oversaturated with them.
Unlikely, Type Moon has enough hardcore fans that would buy it
Ryukishi never stopped.
Every time I see this posted I die a little inside.
>gothic horror zero
?
That's why I post it.
I both laugh and dispair everytime I post that.
