Well, I don't like either. When I invest this much time into watching a show, I want it to have some substance, not just one dimensional cool fights or cute girls. I enjoy shows like ABe and Konaka trilogy (Haibane, Texh, Lain), Mushishi, Kino... my favorite manga is probably YKK.
Then again, I usually do not bitch about either.
