Based and Luffypilled

there are some inconsistencies like how Moriah rose zombies from the frozen ocean

desu for how long it's been out it's pretty impressive

JANNY

You forgot to post a pic of One Punch Man.

O MY INFINITE STAMINA

Agreed

>highest quality writing
>the story basically repeats itself over and over

there are quite a few plotholes and repeating plots but considering the size of this thing it's overall extremely impressive.

I know the answer: World Trigger

Serious question: do you guys think Oda planned Haki all along?

>one piece has 0 asspu-

O MY RUBBER GUM GUM!

Blood countering Croc's logia: Complete and utter asspull, doesn't even make sense to begin with even IF you accepted that water was his natural weakness (it shouldn't be)

Enies Lobby: asspull power ups

Ace's bounty: Makes no sense for it to be that fucking low in hindsight now that bounty inflation has happened

Cake Island: the infamous "O MY INFINITE STAMINA" Luffy contriving a win against Katakuri who got hit like 3 times or something lmao
Bonus point for "my convenient Rayleigh flashback where I remember to use some gimmick i could have been using the whole time"

Katakuri DF: BLATANTLY retconned because Oda fucked up
>This Devil Fruit was initially introduced as a Logia in the Magazine release,[32] but was changed into a Paramecia in the Volume version, though is stated to be a "special Paramecia" (特殊な超人系 tokushu na Paramishia?).
>>The Mochi Mochi no Mi has shown some effects of an actual Logia power: the current user was able to transform into mochi to block off bullets or being blown apart by an explosive attack only to reform. However, it is not considered a Logia because while it makes the user intangible, mochi is an artificial substance, thus making it a "Special Paramecia", while all Logia elements are natural.

That's all I remember off the top of my head

loads better than hiatusxhiatus for sure!

Except that time when Luffy beat Lucci with nakama power. Oh and remember when sunlight was Moriah's weakness (or for his zombies) and then marineford happened and it was just forgotten?

wasn't their a guy that got 260 bullet and 240 staps and 46 canon shot and his vital organs were melted and still kept fighting

Bait thread, but I'll bite.

>Blood countering Croc's logia: Complete and utter asspull, doesn't even make sense to begin with even IF you accepted that water was his natural weakness (it shouldn't be)
How doesn't it make sense? Sand is weak to water. There is water in blood. That's as straightforward as it can be.

>Enies lobby
>zoro has always been described demonic in nature and there are many references to this like him communicating with his swords, being able to feel the presence of curses in blades, etc
>strong Buddhist beliefs
>there are clear references to asura douji which is what the ashura move is based off of
Only a retard wouldn't see the connections.

>luffy
Literally said he has a new move he wants to test out the previous arc before he uses gears.

>Ace's bounty: Makes no sense for it to be that fucking low in hindsight now that bounty inflation has happened
Look up the definition of what an asspull is and there are many factors that go into deciding what someone's bounty is. Ace isn't the kind of guy to go around destroying towns or pillaging innocent people. He is also somewhat of a newcomer as he hasn't been pirating for decades nor has he done anything of major note (that we know of). Getting 550mil from simply being under whitebeard is reasonable enough.

>Cake Island
Imagine being so stupid that you literally cannot understand a children's story. That fight was never about who is stronger. It's was a clash of will and ideals. Pic related.

cont.

>Katakuri DF
Look up the kanji for logia. Logias have to be elemental or weather based in some fashion. Mochi is not a naturally occurring substance in nature therefore it cannot be a logia no matter how similar it is. Katakuri's DF never got retconned because it has ALWAYS behaved as a paramecia before and after the name changed. Oda simply made a mistake in calling it a logia as it was very similar. Literally the next day after the chapter came out he said as such and that it was going to be fixed in the tankoubon. He introduced "special paramecia" as a result of the mochi fruit behaving in a similar fashion to logias to make a distinction between them so it's easier to identify. Remember that paramecia can be literally anything as long as it doesn't fall into the other two categories. It's a catch-all term.

Not so fast there kizaru.

Fuck forgot my pic

O MY TRAINING WITH RAYLEIGH

this win was some serious BS. Katakuri didn't even take like 1/4 of Luffy's damage

They were trading blows rather evenly towards the latter half of the fight and reminder that most of it was offscreened. That's besides the point. The fight wasn't determined by who the stronger fighter was. Both were ready to go another round at the end until katakuri took the dive. I recommend taking some basic lessons on reading comprehension as even little kids in japan were able to understand what the story was conveying.

no it was an asspull

(You)

>it was called a logia and behaved like a logia but it's totally not a retcon when the author changes it to paramecia and then calls it "special" to justify the FUCKING LOGIA PROPERTIES THAT IT ALREADY DISPLAYED because normal paramecias cant do that

Holy fucking damage control mental gymnastics batman

There is no gymnastics being played here because it cannot be a logia by definition. What part of it has to be a natural element do (You) not understand?

>because it cannot be a logia by definition
Yeah, that's why Oda fucked up and had to retcon it. Because he forgot.
I can play the same game and say Mochi can't be a paramecia by definition because it has powers that paramecias cannot have.
But oh how convenient, Oda asspulled "SPECIAL" paramecias now that can, and the only example we have is Mochi, hmm how odd, its almost like he made that up on the spot to justify retconning it into a paramecia.

Cope harder.

a) his whole gimmick is SUCKING OUT moisture from things so how can HE be vulnerable to moisture? It's a contradiction. If he was really weak to water then SUCCing moisture would be a suicide tactic.
b) Even ignoring that, it's a contrived weakness anyway because there is nothing that makes sand inherently weak to water. Unlike Enel's case where the "rubber immune to lightning" relation is rather clear and has a real life basis, this one is just made up. Why shouldn't he be able to control mud (which is still sand)? The earthbenders in Avatar sure as hell can.
c) Let's not forget that it was fucking BLOOD, not water, that made him vulnerable. A few drops of blood disabled his entire fucking power. Seriously, the human body only contains like 5 litres of blood, that's less than what fits in your average "large" cooking pot. Here I can already smell your damage control mental gymnastics coming from a while away "duhhhh what eeeef wan pissu characters have more litres of blood since they can take so many wounds" - Obviously Luffy didn't use all of his blood, just whatever came out of his minor wounds. That's all it took to magically disable Crocs entire defense. I wonder why people can't beat the shit out of Crocodile with their sweat, they're in the desert after all. Oh what, sweat doesn't count? Hmm, how odd.

>Yeah, that's why Oda fucked up and had to retcon it. Because he forgot.
It's called making a mistake then later correcting yourself, and there's a distinct difference between that and retconning an aspect of a story. But of course, I don't expect a shitposter like (You) to ever understand that.

>I can play the same game and say Mochi can't be a paramecia by definition because it has powers that paramecias cannot have.
You can't because paramecias can be anything and have any powers. It's an all-catch term for anything that doesn't fall under logia or zoan. I have a better example for you, this would be like if kaidou's fruit was introduced as a logia, but we can clearly see it's a zoan. Then later fixed in the tankoubon. Is it a retcon? No, of course not. Just a simple mistake.

>a) his whole gimmick is SUCKING OUT moisture from things so how can HE be vulnerable to moisture? It's a contradiction. If he was really weak to water then SUCCing moisture would be a suicide tactic.
Reread the manga again. He has to activate that ability frist and then physically touch you with his palm to suck moisture out. It's not a passive ability.

>b) Even ignoring that, it's a contrived weakness anyway because there is nothing that makes sand inherently weak to water.
One piece runs on cartoon logic. You can see this same thing in pokemon as ground types are weak to water. Croc is naturally weak to water because he has a DF and his fruit on top of that is weak to water so he is 2x weak to water. Enel is cartoon logic as well, because given enough voltage, lightning can melt rubber. We ignore that detail and just keep it simple to rubber > lightning always. Stop trying to bring in real life physics into this when one piece clearly doesn't.

>c) Let's not forget that it was fucking BLOOD, not water, that made him vulnerable. A few drops of blood disabled his entire fucking power.
Any sort of water will negate his powers. Even something as simple as showering, or as you pointed out, sweat. Even when luffy knew about his weakness he still lost the second round.

And before you say anything, judging but how things played out, all we can say is that his fists were not sweating at the time.
