We don't really know if ReDestro saw it as a good or a bad thing, he only made the connection that this is where it all leads to and he felt something in his chest.
It's kind of kino that it's left up to the viewer to interpret it... but it was probably a good thing since his stress was reducing and he explicitly said it wasn't fear. It was relief or hope, it's kinda like seeing the Ubersmench in person.

Shigaraki doesn't give a shit about restricting his own quirk and might as well have disintegrated the rest of the LoV with his final nuke, he lives for himself.

I like how this is mostly accurate as to which students are closer to Deku or Baku. Bakugou has his cavalry battle team, his team that swept Class B, Kaminari, etc, while Deku has his USJ Squad, Iida, Ochaco, Todo, Shoji because of the forest arc, Tokoyami because cavalry battle, Aoyama because they became friends

I think the more likely explanations are
1. He's having a heart attack/passing out
2. He's undergoing a quirk shift because this is just about the most stressed a man has ever gotten in recent anime/manga history

Made a somewhat interesting character duller with each passing chapter. I and everyone else knew Re-Destro wasn't making it put alive as soon as the arc started, but its painful to see an interesting and dynamic character executed on the alter just to prop up the cardboard cutout that shiggy has become. A shame really since the arc started off so strong.

My take on it is that he did hate his family but he’s a 5 year old that’s seemingly constantly getting yelled at and in trouble for something he doesn’t understand. When his quirk activated he was scared and didn’t know what was going on. By the time he realizes it’s him doing it he’s accidentally murdered everyone in his family but his father. When dad comes out and sees this the obviously fragile Shiggy is begging for forgiveness because he’s realized what he’s done and it’s obviously fucked him up. As accidentally killing your family will do. Dad sees that Shiggy is still dangerous and takes a gardening tool to Shiggy and that was it. After everything else when he was begging for help and forgiveness his father attacked him and to Shiggy completely snapped. After that AfO picked him up and made sure that he never tried to fix himself.

Yeah it’s actually what I like about Shiggy’s backstory is that it’s the kind of classic tragedy where no one is really in the wrong it’s just people being people and bad timing. The father doesn’t want his kids to hate him but he’s still suffering from being abandoned by his mother. Who only did that in an attempt to keep him safe. The grandparents and want to encourage Shiggy but that ends up just putting him more in conflict with his father. And mother understood the reasoning but obviously didn’t like how upset it made Shiggy. And Shiggy’s quirk activating at the worst possible moment is the icing on the cake.

He never said that he killed them intentionally. he just speculated if he knew by that time that this was the work of his quirk and not the villain attack. He even emphasized when he first got the intention to kill - it only applied to his father

As his Quirk was manifesting it was gradually affecting his psyche. His "allergies" were his subconscious urges to kill that he didn't realise at the time. These allergies were most prevalent at home due to his family constantly siding with the father and the father himself constantly berating and putting down his sons dreams of being a hero.
After he got hit the Quirk fully manifested. After the trauma of unintentionally decaying Hana and Mon, the Decay-oriented part of his psyche goes on auto-pilot, killing his mother and grandparents. Only when it's the father does Shigaraki manually take control and is fully aware of what he is doing.
The "allergy" is gone and the the Decay within him relishes in ecstasy.
He still could've been saved at this point but the bystanders doing nothing and All for One teaching him to satiate the destructive part of his psyche lead him past a point of no return.

I love the irony of ReDestro realising that Shigaraki is more liberated than himself, and that it's partially his doing.

At a guess...

He's got a quirk that urges him to destroy, just as Toga's urges her to drink blood. It's apparently tied to his emotional state, and manifested when he was depths of despair, anger, and hate. He killed his family - his father, intentionally - and wandered the streets in desperate need and PTSD, becoming thirstier, hungrier, and more shattered with each step; and no one in Hero Society, not a hero, a bystander, or even a street punk, helped him. The one who did, who extended a hand to him, hugged him, accepted him, met his needs, and took him someplace safe, was All for One, the world's worst supervillain. Who instead of getting him psychological help, spent the next 14 years manipulating him, teaching him good was evil and evil, good, and preventing his emotional wounds from healing. At some point AfO and All Might fought, and Shiggy saw the only person he had any connection to, the strong and charismatic AfO, reduced to a blind, crippled figure. Even as All Might was lauded as the Pillar of Peace. Shiggy is full of hate for everything; focused mainly on All Might, but there is nothing in this world except AfO and maybe, to a slight degree, the members of the LoV, that he cares for. When he says 'destroy everything' he means it. Labels like good and evil don't matter. At this point, Shiggy is literally just a force for destruction, and it's hard to see anything changing that.

The problem with Todoroki is that he's a total non-character. No personality, no energy, we don't even really see any palpable passion or drive behind his desire to be hero. He just exists. At least Endeavor has a working motivation and story going on, not to mention that he and Hawks bounce off each other pretty well.

ReDestro manages the publicity so people using their own quirks to defend themselves becomes virtually an inalienable right, while Shiggy and Co. go back into hiding and use the resources of the LA to plot out attacks that will bring down Hero Society.
