Rock is big and blind... still pretty fast.
Did Himejima's flail get bigger? It wasn't that huge when he used against Muzan.
Is Koku's sword a living being?
>bleach.jpg
It's his dick.
thank you user, much appreciated
It's actually UM0
It's the sunbro demon sword
Probably
oh shit
ow no moonbros we got too cocky
Soul Edge
don't worry this isn't even Koku's final form
What do you mean? Koku still hasn't been injured.
Kokushibou is actually impressed by Himejima, the guy is still not serious about this, he will unleash hell once Tanjiro gets there.
Who will die in this battle? Himejima or Sanemi?
Looks like Tanjrou and Giyuu are headed to the UM1 battle royale
Himejima is my guess though I wouldn't be surprised if both he and Sanemi die
Zenitsu pls
Himejima heroic death to let everyone esle escape once they realize Koku is just 2stronk.
>shokugeki no souma
At this point the whole cast will fight um1 and Muzan will scratch his demon balls in the meantime...
>Himejima awakens his mark
Oh fuck yes! Finally!!
>Next week is break week
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Tang will get Himejima's axe and do the double bear slice.
They could be heading to Muzan too, someone needs to at least try to save Tamayo. Koku will probably just come save him if that happens.
Damn Rock really is on another level to the other pillars
>Muzan just joins the fight against UM1 because everyone else does
Who said the marks effects ends when the marks disappear?
based
based
Think about it this way. On the bright side, Croc will have a whole week to relax before drawing the epic fight that is Rock vs UM1. This one week will ensure that the quality stays high and that Croc won't overwork to death.
>kimetsu smash bros
Both.
So Rock Breath isn't very flashy at all, it seems to be all about just overwhelming your opponent.
In the Akaza rematch it could have taken Tomioka since he's also important to Tanjirou.
>Ahh...fighting Muzan...this...takes me back...
Cursed image for not dumping the chapter
How difficult would it be to properly wield Himejima's weapon in real life?
>Still looks like a final boss
Not cursed enough
Very. Flails alone are hard weapons to control and use effectively, let alone when chained to a short axe.
It would be impossible, Himejima's weapon is a super heavy weight version of the known Ninja weapon Kusarigama, the weight and size Himejima uses would be unwieldy for a normal person, the compact sickle and small weight used on a real Kusarigama allowed the wielder to actually use it and balance it with the chain.
there is in kill bill that female student who used the chain ball and was pretty cool
youtube.com
I think its the same situation with Love pillar and her whip sword.
No a musclebound men in real life would be able to use it on the exact size Himejima does, physics would not allow it, too much weight and momentum for a human to handle.
Kusarigamas were relativaly compact for a reason.
Rock breath seems to be extremely op, no wonder there is no variations like the other breaths.
I thought the same thing
Love pillar sword is based on a real life Indian sword.
Although using effectly as she does is fictional, her sword proportions is accurate to how sword whips were in real life.
Missed the episode thread and the other thread is in bump limit.
Anyone has the webm of Zenitsu's thunderclap flash sixfold?
I wonder if the demon that killed Tanjirou's family was actually Koku. None of them were eaten, and Nezuko has the blue spider lily.
I thought Inosuke's breath is a variation of rock?
Nop it's from Wind
Inosuke's Breath of the Beast is a loose variation from Breath of the Wind, that's where Inosuke's vibrations come in.
The databook info said that he created the Beast breath on his own but is the most similar with Wind breath.
It's a possibility, but the story synopsis insists in saying it was Muzan who killed then, but it could be just to hide what really happened.
Why you think she has the blue spider lily and koku never mentioned to muzan?
but I also think there is mistery in who killed tanjirou family
It would have the most impact if is Kokushibo, in the flashback about Tanjiro ancestor it shows him meeting Sunbro.
The blue spider lily never apperead and was just mentioned by Muzan, he doesn’t need anymore now that Nezuko blood demon art has effectively made her Sun resistant, it was foreshadowed how her fire only burned demons and healed the humans.
Nezuko hot nudes here.
I'd forgive you if it was Tanjirou, but nope.
Any TL?
Well we have no idea if the blue spider lily is a tangible object or even exists, since Wani intentionally kept it vague. But if Koku did it, it might explain why Nezuko is up there in power and regeneration besides the typical "she is strong cuz shounen". I doubt Muzan would do more for her than he did that random dude he turned in the city. Just a wild guess as i was rereading, could easily have been Muzan, but it would be way more interesting if it was Koku.
youtube.com
That's a pretty cool weapon I didn't even know it existed irl, thought it was some anime thing. I can see how it would have been very deadly since you disarm with the chain and then kill with the sickle.
I guess it could get more complicated if your enemy had a shield but Nippon hates shields for some reason so whatever.
No spoilers, but does the story keeps its quality in the manga or do the fight and humor get stale?
If you're coming from the most recent episode, the series get far more intense moving forward. The stakes are very high, the fights get very intense and brutal, and there is none of that bruising or light injuries most shounen have going forward. Expect serious injuries and death.
Humor only gets better too.
Spiders is when the manga "starts" getting good.
It's up from there.
It was a very popular weapon for a ninja. remember that many ninjas work undercover as a farmer. Carrying a sickle is normal for farmers.
Blue Pside Lily is I’m fact charcoal.
I know i was asking why other user thought nezuko had it
I Think the blue spider lily will appears in the future after muzan death
We know the doctor must have learned from someone how to save a person by making him a demons and how to cures the sun's vulnerability with blue lily
So somewhere there is someone who was cured by making him a demon and got the blue lily so he can be exposed by the sun
That will also explain why there were already sunbros hunting the demons
And why the blue lily is not already found
It must be coinciled by other demons who can even travel by light
Or who know there is even a secret demon village somewhere in japan
Can someone dump? I would if I wasn’t on my phone.
>Can someone dump?
Muzan's backstory was too conveniently fast.
>yeah this doctor made me a demon and then I killed him and now I'm fucked
Waaait what, who was this doctor?
I thought it was hilarious he was still a petty, short tempered cunt as a human.
Nice. Thanks user, really did not except this but I really liked it so far.
>It must be coinciled by other demons who can even travel by light
Gold Saints
>Or who know there is even a secret demon village somewhere in japan
I think if KnY continues after this Wani may tie to Momotaro story that was very popular in pre-WWII Japan, maybe the blue spider lily is in Onigashima island who is cloaked by some sort of magic.
I hope he won't have some dramatic backstory with MUH DEAD WAIFU and MUH EVIL SOCIETY. I'd rather have him being a complete mystery than being ruined by a flashback.
He doesn't need to be another Naraku, I agree.
I’m betting that is gonna be revelead the Tsugikuni family is descendant of some mythical Japanese hero like Momotaro or Yamato Takeru.
Me too. And it effective to show us what kind of person Muzan is even before he turned into demon. Not every major villain need long and complicated back story.
Rock style seem to be more focus in control the battle. The chain seem to be the use to disable while the flair deal damage, the axe seem to be use for finisher.
I really hope the series ends with Muzan and Koku. It just isn't built very well to continue beyond that.
Timeskip for the sake of it.
Would be fun.
a chink
>Guys, we defeated Muzan! What should we do now?
>Let's have a demon slayer tournament!
This will happen.
It would be fun even if completely artistically bankrupt.
Shame we can't have Kaguya for folklore after Naruto did that shit with her.
Her requests are always kino.
He became a demon in the Heian period and by the looks the Ubuyashiki family was part of the imperial court aristocracy, it’s likely the doctor was a Omnyoji.
What? Not like Naruto copyrighted her. Anyone can use mythological/folklore characters.
Yeah, but it still left a bitter taste in jump
>retarded last minute final boss is Kaguya from the moon
Maybe hagoromo kitsune like nurarihyon could be cool, or youkais in general and not the rip offs the UMs are.
Isn't muzan vulnerable to sunlight because he was too impatient and killed the doctor before he could finish the treatment
No, we will have recovery training for all unemployed DH with PTSD
Yes, that's the irony.
Kimetsu no SOL would fuck me up
Wani will never do a tournament arc or rescuer arc.
Would Tanjiro be able to beat Zenitsu 1v1?
In general he is stronger but Breath of Thunder is very op when Zenitsu has the chance to use it.
Zenitsu can't take a long fight, and has really limited uses.
So it's just a matter of avoiding him until he dies on his own.
Tanjirou has see through world now, that shit made it possible to behead Akaza
Himejima is a fucking Pillar unit.
Tanjiro is like the third strongest hunter at this point.
this mango is fucking hilarious
god bless you user
>but Breath of Thunder is very op
no it's not fucking retard also tanjirou can use it too
I think while tanjiroy is stronger is bad match up for him, thunder is really strong against human
So was keigaku even if cant use the first one and still was surprised but how fast zenitsu was
And done. I really like Himejima's mark design and I like that his mark is on his arms.
Thanks user, I love fights in this manga.
>his sword is also part of his body
that's awesome and gross at the same time
what the fuck
Thanks, the site I get the scans from for some reason compressed the hell out of that page, and I didn't realize it until I saved it.
>Get slashed across the face
>Doesn't even blink
I love you Himejima.
After 169 chapters Kimetsu has gotten so much Big Dick Energy. Thank you Anons.
Gonna monitor thread in case GookAnon shows up.
Does he even have eyes anymore?
If he didn’t have eyes his eyelids would be shut all the time
Himejima's chain is pretty durable it seems
Genya is so going to eat that sword piece isn't he?
Delete
You just know Rock is going to die to give Tang anger and a reason to train harder
>Tang
HIMEJIGOD
>Tang
Never understand why people (or maybe only one faggot) called him that.
tang ina mo
Osaka?
Cute pirate Tanjiro on the cover
Imagine how tense the fight must be
>heart rate above 200bpm
>38 degree body temp
Fuck you must be so alive
I only called him that after I saw someone call him that. It reminded me of some drink I used to have as a kid.
>thunder is really strong against human
so is every other breath. again thunder is not stronger than water, rock wind etc.
I feel out of everyone right now he’s the most likely to get killed. Even Salami has a higher chance of surviving
I dont know, we are entering in the opinion levels
I do think is stronger of course we barely have saw the rock wich is pretty strong since himejima can use both the ball and the axe to kill a demon while setting up traps with chain
How many tecnique have the other style? having 6 style in the thunder schools and 10 in the water surely means something
May be the 6 style already are strong enough to cover all the situation
But who know
I caught up recently and I'm still on suicide watch over Rengoku's death. He was so pure bros.
Uh why aren't the others helping out? I'm sure Sanemi can unpin Muichiro and they can put Genya back together
You sure about that?
There's no "strongest" breath, it all depends on the user. Tanjirou even said that water is more flexiple than dance of the fire god.
>There's blood!
>who's blood?
>He cut him! His arm!?
>huh, wait
>The fuck!?
seriously, that was a trip going over that panel
I wonder how Genya is doing
Maybe he's concentrating on not spilling his innards.
Jesus. The Rock pillar would have bodied every other upper six moon execpt maybe number 2 and 3. Imagine if he fought the lower six moons.
Genya is in literal pieces, Sanemi was basically cut in half diagonally, and Muichiro lost one arm and had the other impaled. They're not exactly in any condition to help anyone.
And it really goes to show how ridiculous Himejima is that he's putting up such a good show against the Upper Moon who just curb stomped two Pillars and a strong non-pillar without even taking a scratch. At this point Himejima NEEDS to die because he's so much stronger than every enemy in the series aside from Muzan and UM1.
Oh that’s so badass.
I think a kimetsu game with devil may cry game play could actually work
He would have one-shotted the lower six for sure. If himejima had fought douma or akaza those fights would have been sick.
I know its going to happen but I don't want the author taking the obvious route
She seems to apologise for everything
He and Akaza are my favorites
What's the kanji on the back of the Demon Corps Uniform?
滅
Destroy
with how Douma fucks around he would have 100% bodied him too
>talks with Sanemi but completely ignores Tokitou impaled on the pillar and Genya being a disembowled mess
based
FUCK

S
Train for what though? Um1 is going down and then likely muzan vs everyone.
Femjiro looks like Kokushibou
Rock pillar op as fuck
would curb stomp the other pillars
Rockbros... this is a huge deathflag
Of course the Rock Pillar would be the strongest. Because pillars are made of rock
This explains why the pillar made of combustion was kinda crap.
>rock will die without ever seeing sayo again or hearing her apology
>you will never pat Tanjirou’s head and make him giggle
Why am I on this earth? Just to suffer?
>is the sword made of flesh or flesh made of sword?
bullshit he has no chance to beat UM4, he has not way find the real body also UM4 can also cast thounder, trees and other bullshit,
Is it me or croc has gotten better drawing action scenes?
Anyone winning against Akaza in a straight is a bit iffy since he needed to pretty much kill himself
he fucked shinobu hard, he only didn't took the kids seriously
wrong against UM6 he needs to cut both heads at the same time and this already hard, gyoutarou has a long range attack and poison too so if get's hit he's fucked, they even stated recently you need 2-3 pillars to beat even a UM
I kind of want to see Breath of Rock used by someone with a sword because right now it seems like a style that is solely made for Himejima and his unique weapon. Also it's the only style that has produced an offshoot
hasn't*
If Waterboy was faster he'd be able to save Tanjiro's family.
He was the one who murdered them in the first place.
he also didn't really take Shinobu seriously, he took all of her different poisons head-on because he felt like it
It was either Muzan or Kokushibo who killed Tanjiro family and turned Nezuko into demon, he would be dead.
>At this point Himejima NEEDS to die because he's so much stronger than every enemy in the series aside from Muzan and UM1
What? Those two are pretty much the only enemies left, at least once Love and Snek deal with the cyclops girl.
>this is the face of a killer
>Tang instead of Tanjirou
>Salami instead of Sanemi
>Tapioca instead of Tomioka
What else do we got?
I want to meet the man who made Rock's weapon. How does one decide exactly that he doesn't want to swing a sword and instead wants an Axe/Flail combo
Some must be hungry
He saw the unit that is Rock, and decided that a simple sword wasn't enough
Why would UM1 do that?
We got 2 sun/flame marks and 1 mist mark in this picture
Whats the back one? Snake?
Rock is 220cm.
Wind?
Might be Wind
I don't know but it's more plausible that koku killed Tanjirou's family than Muzan. Consider this, why Muzan would go and kill a specific family by himself when he has a bunch of underdogs to do the dirty job?
true, koku did mention a breath of wind user too
just thought it has a serpent-like look to it
Snek, looks like a snek tongue actually
And insects.
>snake-like silhouette
>striped clothes
I'm seeing some parallels. It's also about where Obanai's mask is.
Second post you replied to said lower moons. But even against gyutarou and daki it would be completely feasible for rock to decapitate one with the flail and the other with the axe at the same time.
This is how everyone expect snek see harlot.
Zest for Zenitsu
Snack time Genya
Didn't Tanjirou react to Muzan's scent because it was the same as what he smelled when his family was killed? Unless they have the same Muzan musk, I don't know.
Source?
しぐた (@shigure_lavi)
Thank you
here's the bangaihen for this week since no one posted it
Is Tanjirou trying to draw a tanuki?
UM1 is probably the demon with most Muzan blood on him, we will find out soon.
Nice beach chapter bro
Tanjiro can see Zenitsu in slow-mo thanks to the See-through world and Water is great for parrying, it's pretty much a hard counter for Zenitsu if the user's senses can react fast enough.
>why are you showing me these pictures, I'm blind
what is tanjirou next powerup
Pondering this duel would be more interesting only up the Red Light District arc, but now it is over, Tanjiro became too powerful in a short time spam and Tomioka pretty much confirms with his own eyes Tanjiro is Pillar level when fighting against Akaza, while Zenitsu's growth was more of a mental one, he stopped relying on his trance, sure that makes him be as powerful as he ever was at base awake state but against Tanjiro the way he is now there's hardly a chance. That said outisde the Pillars the Zenitsu is firmly second tier behind Tanjiro though, with sheer speed alone.
It's kind of crazy that despite all of those exchanges Kokushibou is still unharmed, none of te hits could do even a scratch on him.
Awake his Ninchirin fully and actually learn the Breath of the Sun, the Sunbro's blade was black too but he could nake it Crimson Red at will, and the Databook didn't even link the Dance of the Fire God to the Sun Breath in the chart, showing how diluted the Dance is from the Sun.
What kind of dumb power is snake, anyways?
Even Tanjirou can draw better than me
Hey now, he lost some hair
From what it has been shown it is perfect sword swing control, it makes it seem like his sword is alive and curves like a snake.
>loses hair
>no visible difference to his look
Upper Moons have a similar scent to Muzan, Tanjiro said so himself, and the way the Moons are ranked is through how much of Muzan's blood they can take in their bodies, naturally Kokushibou as the UM1 must have a whole lot of Muzan's blood inside him to the point of being Muzan 1.5
Who did this?
Gayuu, duh.
His fabulous hair regenerates too.
>the perpetual mullet
Alright boys, here we go
>Chapter 169: The Earth is Ringing
>Shinazugawa
>Sew up your stomach immediately
>I'll handle things in the meantime

>Yes
>I'm sorry

>Breath of the Moon
>He threw the axe
>He's holding the chain of the weapon with both hands...
>Breath of...
>Breath of Rock Second Form
I can't figure out anything for this one
>(Chain noises)
>I can't cut the chain!
>The chain, the axe, and the ball, the purity of the iron in this weapon
>Is considerably high
>This sword made of my flesh
>Can't cut or break it
>That iron that absorbed so much sunlight
>They didn't have smithing techniques that advanced in the Sengoku era
>But even so... If I move in far enough to a place he can't reach, that's it...
>The way he muscles his weapon around, with his own body weight
>It's quite agile
>It's hard to believe
>Breath of the Moon
>Second Form
>Breath of Rock
>Fourth Form
This tech name has some kind of rock in it. Rhyolite?
And this one is something moon viewing
>You tried to break it...
>It regenerates shortly...
>You can try attacking... It's meaningless...
>You're a pitiful...
>(Heavy Breathing)
>Human...
>This... I wanted to leave it for Muzan
>Huu...
>!
>But I can't do that if I'm dead
>So it's time to use it now!
Pretty nice to have a fight chapter between two characters that don't talk much. Makes things quick. That's all for this week my friends
>They didn't have smithing techniques that advanced in the Sengoku era
Yet the sword from the puppet was very high quality.
technological progress is not a straight line user, some things advance while others are lost. We still can't replicate ancient roman concrete, for instance, despite being far more advanced in p much every other way
He's probably just talking about the ball and chain. Techniques to refine swords have existed, but techniques to refine giant chunks of steel probably wasn't a thing.
Thanks bro
>I haven't seen a swordsman this strong... in almost three hundred years...
Damn that's high praise right there.
>But I can't do that if I'm dead
>So it's time to use it now!
So is it confirmed that this is actually his mark awakening or is it some other technique?
It's most likely both, his mark is awakening while using that technique.
I think the way it's being said, he may have already gotten the mark back during training
Maybe it's his ultimate technique and he doesn't know it awakens his mark, because it's visible and that's it.
that his mark on his arms?
honestly thought it was blood splatters
>awaken his nichirin
What do you mean?
Rock is hardcore
Does it get easier if you cant see shit?
You should try and then report the results
I fucking hate, in all media, how non-humans criticise humans for being weak when they try hard to maximise their strength while being human.
If UM1 was human there, with that sword, he'd have lost.
I can't wait for the colored chapter
Pig assault.
You didn't read the post? The Sun user that fought Muzan was later explained that his blade only turned red during combat, this directly hints that Tanjiro's black blade might have a future second awakening.
None of them are female in that art. They just have long ponytails.
*blocks your path*
Nothing personnel, kid
Ah yes. I think it'll only awaken when he does the Sun Breath.
However he died better be some grandiose thing, him just dying to his potential borther Michikazu/Kokushibou after being hyped as the one brought fear to Muzan would be disappointing. If Kokushibou became strongger than the Sun user then Muzan should never have recorded his fear of the Sun Earrings into his own cells.
>shinazugawa, get your shit together right now
Extremely based
Rock is seriously on a different level compared to the other Pillars.
>Strongest swordsman I've faced in nearly 300 years
Sanemi and Tokitou BTFO
But marks aren’t only visible, they come with high heart rate and a fever. Tanjirou can’t see his own mark manifest; it’s on his face, yet he is aware of it as were Tokitou and Kanroji.
What if he died to disease, like Tang’s dad. Maybe breath of sun slowly weakens the user.
How the fuck does Himejima even travel around? The police were butthurt about swords but how the fuck would they react to a giganigga with a flail?
Himejima potentially got his mark earlier offpanel, the Mark explanation has the Pillar diaries say that an old Market hunter stated that Mark resonates and spreads out; Tanjiro was the patient zero in the current events, Muichirou, Mitsuri and Tomioka got from him, but the Pillars were sparring against each other in the Pillar training, Tomioka said that it was a common training method for the Pillars to get stronger together, with that Himejima might have resonated with Muichirou and Mitsuri.
>I wanted to leave it for Muzan
>But I can't do that if I'm dead
>So it's time to use it now!
Fuuuck he’s dead
Authorities weren't everywhere in the Taisho period, mostly on big cities, also he has a big coat, just chunk that thing under it, making him look like a fat priest.
subarashi
What a chad
If I saw a 7 foot Blind person carrying around an axe/flail hybrid weapon, I would not bother him and let him go about his day.
And his weight is kind of low for his height, realistically he should be over 300lbs
I called this from the first chapter it appeared. The sword is like Daki`s sash. He eats people by cutting them down too.
kids suck
The Sun Breath is indisputably the strongest Breath, Tanjiro compared his unmastered Water Breath to his understanding of the Dance of the Fire God which the Databook is fresh from confirming it is not even close to being the Breath of the Sun, it's a different branch altogether.
I’m sure he knows it’s the mark, if any of the pillars could have successfully trained to use the mark on demand it would be himejima.
>Blind gigant monk so strong that we saw the chapter from Kokushibou's PoV
Based
Yeah too many deathflags. Him and Sanemi are kill.
Isn’t it kinda the point though, that the demons see humans as completely inferior to them? Thinking especially of when akaza tried to convince rengoku to turn into a demon, and I feel like the same idea has come up at least one other time that I can’t recall
>it's a different branch altogether.
It doesn't say it's a different branch, just that their relationship is vague.
According to the Kamados, it's a dance offered to hinokami (can be both sun and fire god, since they are charcoal dealers).
Gyotarou tried to briefly recruit Tanjiro.
Akaza offered both Tomioka and Rengoku to become demons, he praised them
I mean, no one should be under any illusion that rock isn’t the strongest pillar
Also his monk like appearance gives less reason for others to bother him.
So, so far we've had
Gyotarou asked Tanjirou
Akaza asking Rengoku and Giyuu
Koku (not really asking) but to Toki
I wonder if someone is actually going to turn demon?
I love my wife Nezuko
Man, now I really see it. He is ugly!
Nezuko as a UM
Also, genya
That was Kaigaku. That's the only turncoat we're gonna get. I don't blame you for forgetting about him, since he wasn't really a character.
Nezuko already is a honorary Upper Moon, Daki said her new transformation then made Nezuko an equal.
It's different with Akaza. He praises them. He says they can be even stronger as a demon. The rest of the demons just call humans inferior all the same.
It can't be any of the main trio because they are too pure and the series would go too far into edgy Sasuke-esque territory.
Maybe one of the pillars after being raped by Koku just like what happened with Kaigoku. Koku wanted to force demon impregnate Tokitou but I'm not sure if it counts if the conversion isn't willing.
Did he have the mark before Tanjirou showed up?
>yfw chapter from himejima pov
Next week it's Tokitou's birthday.
During the training, Inosuke commented that he wouldn't be surprised if Himejima had awakened his mark already.
Actually, UM1 looked back at the chain which was about to wrap his sword but did not care and continued to perform his skill. Before this, Rock's chain was about to wrap his neck too but he still dodged it after realizing his sword could not cut the chain. So, I believe UM1 could pull his sword out of the chain but I may think it was not worth. But yeah, this fight was not fair at the beginning since demons have more advantage in case of fighting. But for skill-wise, I think UM1 is more formidable at this point because of his experience. I am not sure how strong he was in human form back then. However, if Rock could badly injure him next chapter, I guess UM1 was just a little better than wind pillar in his human form. It would be a different case if he has not been fighting seriously since the beginning.
One thing we could say that Rock is an example of the strongest human beings according to UM1. He may be at the same level as sunbro regardless of skills.
I didn't forget about him. I was really only thinking of the good guys
wow that foreshadow, so Himejima's been saving it? What a chad
Cute girls.
The fact that he thinks they’d be stronger as demons implies that he sees being human as an inherent limitation on their power, thus he associates humanity with weakness/inferiority
Almost certainly
(Males).
the last few have had Um1 thoughts in it ya dingus
Well he was alive and filled with a sense of failure when he was staying with Tanjirou’s ancestor
Koku switched sides and he failed to cut off Muzans head in however way
Seems like he was pretty much given up at that point in the flashback so he probably just died of natural causes or let himself die as he was depressed
I don’t know Japanese but I got all the greats from left to right and their branches, the Hinokami Kagura must be simply a incomplete version of the Sun breat.
I am sure user was talking about the elemental styles. They all originate from the Sun so ofc the Sun would be the strongest.
So about that Digital Copy for that Databook, who's going to delivery it.
No Tanjiro?
Nice
can you post these on /cm/ too the thread there is getting bumped off, thought people knew about kimetsu over there
>cm
Why am I not surprised there's a thread there.
>That thing was too big to be called a Nichirin
>Too big, too thick, too heavy and too rough
>It was more like a large anchor piece
They call him the Onyx Priest.
The success usually forces an author to keep reasearching about their current series' themes, since Kimetsu is mostly action Gotouge then has to trade infomartion and techniques with other artists in the field as they work.
how come these two didn't get marks?
it seem you need the genetics or immense battle experience to get them
It just means the fights they had weren't as endgame as they appear to be, they will do something more later, Zenitsu and Inosuke have been fighting along Tanjiro the longest, they meet the requirements to resonate, and no there's genetics requirements for the Mark, Tomioka was just a simple guy before becoming a hunter.
Where can i read the manga for free?
mangadex
The thread being bumped implies it’s dead though.
That Tomioka CD drama was pure sex but sad
theres an episode tomorrow right?
arent there usually stills by now?
They already unveiled the stills days ago, it was posted on a thread ealier this week.
Given how Kokushibou and Douma were such specific counters to Akaza`s compass (see through world/freezing and having no feelings), I wonder if he actually was any stronger than them if they hadnt had those things.
Summary please
Kinda hard to measure now, but the fact remains that at least Akaza has two great moments on his shoulders, Kyoujuro's fight and his own death, Douma defnitely failed to live up the hype the expected of the Upper Moon Two.
Douma’s arrogance is what fucked him over. And I think he was only Upper Moon 2 due to the fact that he eats a fuck ton of humans.
What do you guys think is happening after this arc is over?
The only thing certain is at least one of the three pillar fighting Kokou will die. Btw, why does no one care about Mist? Is he sill left hanging on the pillar?
Sanemi's probably getting him down
It's the story he tells when he saw Nezuko protecting Tanjirou. He saves a boy from his lil brother who became a demon.
Looking back now, KnY was mad dark in the beginning. It really became lighthearted after like chapter 50.
How long till Zenitsu wins the Nezukobowl?
>And I think he was only Upper Moon 2 due to the fact that he eats a fuck ton of humans.
That was evident, Douma was the former Upper Moon Six a good century ago, meanwhile Akaza seemed to be always on the top ranks.
>Tanjuro had 5 kids with his wife
He was getting it on.
He’s already won user. Nezuko is gonna be fucking him into the ground in like a month.
Series finale maybe, even the supposed main pairing: Tanjiro and Kanao doesn't get that much focus, this series is action first and foremost, everything else is secondary.
If he hadn't been sick, he would still be a baby factory
I don't know about that. As the series progresses, Wani's eye and amputee fetishes intensified. We also have prostitutes and pimps, child abuse, a little girl sold into slavery, people committing suicide to escape from poverty and disease, an old gramp splitting his stomach, people burned at the stake, etc.
While not being poisoned he styled on Shinobu and then Inosuke and Kanao who were overwhelmed with his ice clones alone.
He was never able to show his potential which I imagine was pretty big being UM2 and saying Akaza he was weaker than him to his face.
Aniplex is really going balls deep with the merch, this is like the 5th different brand I see on the figure department alone. I hope it all pays off with generating actually meaning content, such as more seasons.
I imagine if he was being serious with his attacks he’d have frozen everyone in seconds and smashed them to pieces.
Thanks! Do you know where in the manga the anime is at right now?
Chapter 34 I guess.
Chapter 35. Enjoy.
Someone should compile a list of Wani's apologies
Imo it was a nice anticlimactic death he got after being hyped since the Red Light Distric Arc.
All that power and he died like a bitch to two literally whos because he couldn't resist his perversions and absorbed the pillar who specialized in POISON.
And fell in love with said Pillar right as he was being dragged to hell. He finally actually falls in love and she just tells him to fuck off.
Who are they looking at?
Yeah but I had a feeling of loneliness at the start. Now there's a sense of community.
You, user. They're looking at you.
>boards.fireden.net
This is thread for chapter 32. We've really come a long way since then. Anons took over the manga after that chapter too.
That's pretty hot
There's seemly quite a lot by now.
Very long way indeed, Kimetsu threads were quite small and could easily die out if leave unattended.
I like to think getting gook TLs at the pillar meeting started to help the threads pick up. Then by 100 we had hit bump limit
>Akaza seemed to be always on the top ranks.
What makes you think this?
>Only 4 replies
Damn that's pretty sad. I'm glad the community has grown quite a lot since then
God I wish Giyuu would look at me like that
Because when Muzan made Akaza into a demon the 12 Demon Moons were about to be born, Muzan himself says he was about to start it, Akaza was one of the oldest Moons, maybe even the second made after Kokushibou.
Who was burnt at the stake?
Daki
I think he means Daki when was a human, maybe, she wasn't burnt at the stake though, she got burnt down a hole.
That’s what I thought but I didn’t remember there being a stake involved.
I just use "burn at the stake" at a byword for execution by burning.
Pretty sure Rock pillar is 100% dead, Sanemi is probably going to die, Mist is surviving for Fujobucks, and Genya gets to survive because his brother and master die
What's sad is that I put it on hold back then because there were too few chapters.
>Kokushibou kill everybody
>get custody over Tokitou
>save Muzan's ass
>teleport away with Nakime
I want this.
I think I jumped in during the train arc
Same. I remember Korean user cried when translating chapter 66
I read it since chapter 1. But at that time I was too afraid of Yea Forums so just joined the thread around red light District arc.
You have the thread?
Been here since the start of Red Light District
I joined the threads last year in November, actually it caught my attention when Tomioka's VA was announced. Then from that week I started reading it and I caught up by the end of that month.
>tfw stopped around chapter 50 because I thought the pacing was quite slow and forgot to pick it up again
>now they're close to final boss when I catch up
At least I make it in time
Never heard of it until the anime. Watched the 5 episodes it had out at the time and started lurking just before 157 was released.
>Shinobu will never crush your balls
I miss her lads
>2 years
Really came a long way ;_;
>I bet wind pillar turns out to be a decent guy even after the shit he pulled with Nezuko
That user called it. You still here user?
You still have Kanao
She’s Tanji’s.
Why butter girls are always surrounded by butterflies?
So there's pretty much 0 chance that this series ends with this arc right? From what I've heard sales are through the roof thanks to the anime grabbing people's interest. I can't imagine WSJ will let wani wrap things up when they can smell more money coming.
She still has Slam dunk option.
It depends on what happens to Muzan. Is he gonna come out human? Something in between human and demon? A whole new being that’s something worse than a demon? What would you all want to happen?
Something that progresses the plot in an interesting way, for the consistency.
Muzan still needs to go after Nezuko, so I don't think it's ending this arc at least.
Slam Dunk was a long time ago, Jump was surrounded with blooming series, Inoue being allowed to just end it in an all time high was an anomaly. Nowdays Jump is praying everyday that more series other than One Piece can carry them on the future.
Found this fanart while browsing the chapter 140 thread which btw was one of the greatest threads related to Kimetsu.
If this is really the final arc, Jump should have said something by now. Neverland authors confirmed their manga is ending in an interview, and the latest issue just doubled down on it.
For it to be the final arc, Koku would need to die first, then biwa, so Muzan would be close to Nezuko I guess. It would definitely be rushed and below Wani's writing quality since the main characters are fucked up.
that chapter had a lot of good expressions
What's gonna be Zentisu's condition when he finally wakes up do y'all think?
Jump didn't allow Inoue to end. It's like Fuck You I gonna end anyway cause you don't allow me to.write Shuhoku to lose.
If there is one constant all demon slayers, no matter the genre, share; it's the ability to get fucking pissed!
His condition was serious but it was only one: Kaigaku's blood art infused Tunder Breath cracking his skin, Yushiro seemed to have a counter medicine right away for that, so I don't think Zenitsu will have any real lasting damage, maybe new scars on his face at most.
He is fine.
I cant believe many people shit on this anime
But this is one of few animes ive absolutely enjoyed in like last 5 years
Maybe Muzan is done with after this arc, and we find out more about the doctor who made him a demon, I’d like to know more about that.
People disagree on everything, there will never be an truly universally loved work without a single detractor, there's juts some works loved more than others, or hated more than others. Disassociating what people think about your favorite series is one way to enjoy things to its fullest.
Can someone explain to me why the scar in Tanjiro's head changes in the first eps? Dis I miss something?
Well we are finally getting to the part where it gets good. Maybe more people will pick it up, but honestly the number of people watching it now means the threads are still decent.
I’m so excited for the next few episodes. Pillars incoming.
It doesn't change in the 1st ep but it changes during the final selection because the hand demon throws him against a tree and he hits his forehead.
Why do people think this isn't ending?
Everything that has been set up is coming to a conclusion, all the loose ends coming together.
It's probably better it ends here than get dragged out, since other threats/demons haven't even been alluded to.
how much stronger are pillars compared to tanjirou, inosuke a and zenitsu
Tanjirou is pillar level
Zen is almost there
Inosuke is the same as Zen or maybe a bit lower
All 3 can become Pillars but they still don't compare to the veterans.
Mmh ok thanks. Yes I meant one of the first episodes.
Man i fucking loved Sabito design
What a waste of 9.8/10 design
>Why do people think this isn't ending?
- No announcement
- Series' finally got really popular in Japan
- Jump is starved for stable successes that isn't One Piece, and more than My Hero Academia, Haikyuu and Black Clover.
Also you need to read more action shounen, older stuff on Jump are plenty, absolutely ANYTHING can be stretched if the edtiors and authors can agree on that it should.
Nezuko got Tamayo medicine.
Why do you even bring up other demons/threats? What makes you think the heroes are going to succeed here?
They are contrarians, ufo/aniplex are doing their best to deliver something well crafted. These faggots who complains about the pacing needs to fuck off.
It's mostly people complaining about Zenitsu
Naraku option exist.
Gyuu himself said Tanjiro was Pillar level when he saw how much Tanjiro had grown while fighting Akaza, it's hard to gauge Zenitsu and Inosuke since other characters haven't said much about their strenght, but the two were undergoing the same Pillar training, passing all challenges, except only the Rock Pillar training where last time we saw only Tanjiro passed, Inosuke was close, and Zenitsu got hammered with the news that made him revaluate his entire life till then, but the accomplishments Zenitsu and Inosuke pulled in their fights show that they isn't a huge gap between them and Tanjiro, they are just a bit below him.
At any case, in a broader inspection they are all elegible for Pillar spots, that's undeniable, as the requirements were filled in this arc.
I think the people who complain about the pacing actually have a good point unlike those who complain about CGI or Zen. And even Nips agree that ep.13 pacing is terrible.
>It's mostly people complaining about Zenitsu
Where? Only the regular shit flinging posters here on anime episode threads seem to have some problem with him still, other more casual circles have pulled a 180° in their opinion on Zenitsu just for watching how his technique is animated, showing that their hatred or fondness of Zenitsu was always superficial.
Here, I don't talk about anime anywhere else
The biggest difference is the experience. See Tokito and Samemi, it's not that Tokito is lower in term of skill but he has less experienced
I don't know why you take those people as if they were the vast majority. Since last week episode they have toned down compared when he first showed up.
Ep 13 was a thing, but overall it's ok.
Yes, and she was squirming in her sleep, Urokodaki was wondering if the medicine will really cure her, meanwhile Muzan became a blob of flesh to see if her can purge the same medicine from his body; there could some twist in that medicine won't work as intended, or maybe not as perfect as they hoped, Tamayo already used on the passerby from way back, the guy Muzan turned into a demon just to get Tanjiro off his back when they first meet, Tamayo says the man became someone who just needs a little bit of blood, like her and Yushiro, to survive so he didn't turn back into a human.
It becomes plot relevant later on.
Some normalfags outside Yea Forums still hate him. Internet is a huge please. You don't see one does not mean they don't exist.
I've seen more people complain about Zenitsu hate than actually seeing Zenitsu hate, just block them and move on.
I was talking about the same "normalfags" that went apeshit on just witnessing the Thunderclap Flash in action, acting as if Zenitsu was always cool to them.
You can find people who don't like him and other who like him or people who gives a fuck about him. It's not by law that he has to be universally loved by everyone, expect Japan
If Koku dies in this arc, I think this will be the final arc because it would be a little bit sketchy for Muzan to be alive and build a new UM system again. Also, for someone who has almost everything related to power like Koku (mark, skills, experience, background, status,...), his end will lead to 90% wrap up everything and there would be no more UMs. There was a tv ad saying this is the final or decisive battle depending on how people interpret. However, with the progress of the plot right now, I tend to believe that croc sensei want to finish everything in this arc. Of course, it does not mean it will end right way since she still spends time on depicting many epic fights, especially for the current one.
>No announcement
>Decicive Battle!
Eh, no, try a bait that wasn't already debunked next time.
Why they never post a cleaner picture of it somewhere else?
真っ先に流出させるんだから韓国にジャンプ提供するの止めたら良いのに

Volume 1 sold out
- Nezuko must be involved somehow in the defeat of Muzan, but she has not appeared at all this arc.
- It will require a major asspull to kill both Kokushibou and Muzan here. Say what you want about Douma's fight, it does have foreshadowing with Shinobu having a plan to kill him
- The series' popularity exploded overnight. Jump must be stupid to not catch on the anime's success. A lot of momentum will be lost if the manga ends before a potential second season.
- Wani herself doesn't sound like she's bored of the manga yet. "I'll try my best to make the series even more interesting"
>mingzuozhibi.com
Does this look good?
How many arcs are left then? 2 or 3?
...
Who knows? I have a feeling that the manga will end between 25 and 30 volumes. We're at the end of vol 19 right now.
>black cover
>success
Is 7 million sold bad?
Apologize
I want to marry Giyu.
What a handsome young man! His boyfriend must have really love him
I just saw a forum post that described the show as toxic masculinity. The reason?
1. Nezuko reduce to helpless victim that have no agency
2. Zenitsu being fearful is frame as a bad thing
3. Inosuke is an example of hyper masculinity and is portrait as good
4. How Tanjirou treat Nezuko, not letting her fight and protecting her.
After reading that i wonder if this person even watch the show
Here the link: animenewsnetwork.com
never faggot
That person pointed out useless shit but not Sabito's whole fight with Tanjirou?
Yes, he didn't watch the show.
I swear people like this have no grip on reality. Their worldview is so warped that they only see what they want to see. Tanjirou is the nicest, most gentle shounen MC ever who is actually nicknamed mommy by his peers. Toxic masculinity my ass. Apparently not wanting your sister to be hurt is a bad thing now. I bet if Tanjirou lets her fight more than they will complain that he treats her like an attack dog and only uses her to save his ass. My sincere advice to everyone: don't ever engage with those mentally ill persons.
he's right tho
>>>Tumblr
>ann
>this entire post
don't even engage
Get used to it, everyone has a good design in this.
That's the most correct answer for hiding his mark, after all everything that the demons who have his blood see is immediate intel for Muzan
It' some shitty bait article but I'll bite.
1. Nezuko has saved Tanjiro many times and was proven extremely capable in combat as were all the female Demon Slayers so far.
2. Zenitsu is comic relief character but despite his personality is shown as very capable and strong regularly.
3. Inosuke's "hypermasculinity" is literally a running joke and the guy has been shown as pretty sweet and emotional deep down.
4. Tanjiro wanting to protect his sister is natural instinct and done to avoid her losing control of her demon nature (which happens when she fights for long).
It's all all absurd and even if this were some toxic degrading series of male violence there would be no problem because it's a fucking battle shounen, IT'S IN THE NAME.
I'd greatly enjoy if Muichiro turned into a demon but decided to fight for the good guys anyway.
Wouldn't he get Muzan'd?
It's Saturday
This is just Jump issue 13 advertisement. And within this context it said "The conflict [between Tanjirou and Akaza] final comes to an end".
>That user called it.
To be fair that is an easy thing to call. "Edgy guy with a heart of gold" happens all the time.
I like that Wani gives even dead characters good designs. It humanizes them more and makes us care, otherwise they would look like generic redshirts.
Kimetsu's going to pull an Inuyasha and have Muzan fake-die and Tamayo is saved and everyone thinks they've finally done it but in reality Muzan killed Tamayo during the upper moon fights and is now assuming her shape with her memories or some bullshit like that. No one can tell it's Muzan because he's using Tamayo's blood arts to conceal his scent.
It's okay, his autism will out him immediately. Someone just has to tell him he looks tired and he'll lose his shit.
Who is this hansamu man?
>Nezuko reduce to helpless victim
Someone post the webm pls. I lost it.
I wonder what blood technique Genya would have if he powered up using UM1 sword
Cloud Strife.
HOLY FUCK
SEASON 2 HERE WE FUCKING GO
Wait what? Giyuu isn't in 35 or 36. Are they doing more than 2 again?
>2. Zenitsu being fearful is frame as a bad thing
Well, hunting demons requires you actually hunt them, so yes, it should be framed as a bad thing.
I'm guessing he appears at the end of the episode to save Inosuke?
Yes, probably 2.5
That not the point, the point is that it okay to be fearful as long as you don't give up. Despite all the complain he make about how scare he is, he still do his job. Even Tanjirou sometime fear for his life and Inosuke lack of fear at first kinda nearly got him kill.
This is the first series I've read in a while that falling down or getting hit has consequences even with the reality bending breathing techniques
Wow, they sold 10k copies in first week
KIMETSU STRONK
>even with the reality bending breathing techniques
not a thing
I mean like how Tanjiro used breathing to stop bleeding in his stomach unless that's a thing in real life
Do you think if you breathe enough you can stop bleeding or poison from spreading?
A slower hear rate means you bleed less. He just calmed himself down while applying pressure to the wound which allowed the blood to clot.
No, he was just breathing, I just looked at the chapter. To regular people like the guy who got his hand cut off, Tanjiro said to use pressure.
You seriously don't think that bends reality?
It doesn't. Deep steady breaths and applying pressure to a wound is literally how not to go into shock 101.
How does it explain poison spreading through your body
Poison spreads through your circulatory system. A rapid heart rate circulates poison quicker.
No, he literally stopped a hemorrhage or something in the train arc by concentrating.
user, you're seriously overestimating the power of slowing your heart rate. You'd still die from blood loss/poison if you're injured enough, and you sure as hell wouldn't be able to get up and move around right after that.
Sanemi literally uses his muscles to stop his guts from spilling out, and caused his blood to clot unnaturally fast to stop excessive bleeding.
He had a minor wound that happened to tag a minor artery. It's not like he was cut open. It wasn't even a knife wound, it was a needle. He was in very little danger so long as he didn't aggravate his condition.
I'm taking issue because of all the weird and wacky uses the Breaths are put to in this sieres, user decided to pick the two most grounded examples to take issue with. For example cutting a giant fucking boulder is pretty much ridiculous, far more so than First Aid for Dummies.
Soon bitch
My post was more focused on the consequences for injuries having gravity despite having "superpowers", not the realism of the manga or I would have brought that up plus the gourd breath thing. Or mice carrying swords.
yeah getting tired of those "hand got cut off ,but pretend nothing big deal"
keep dreaming the manga gonna end with no pairing,
I’m surprised anyone even had the patience to respond to their post
