What did Yea Forums think of Fate/Apocrypha?
What did Yea Forums think of Fate/Apocrypha?
i like astolfo and i think he is really hot, i disliked everything else about it tho
I like Fate universe so for me it was watchable with a couple of some occasional cool moments but that's about it.
The main villain felt like a discount Pucci from jojo part 6
Sieg should die and Ama x Semiramis is the best ship in the fateverse.
This
as bad as every other fate ever
Lame, directionless, tried (and failed) to change course multiple times. The only intriguing story was that of the Necromancer, but that may be because you see so little of it your imagination makes up the rest.
Many fantastic characters given minimal screentime and the entire setting wasted on following a literal doll without personality who fights a very reasonable main villain for no real reason. The main villain was later retconned to be wrong.
Nasu is a hack for suggesting Sieg and Higashide is a hack for writing that shit.
At least the anime adaptation has good music and some well animated moments.
Sieg was like 80% Nasu's fault
First part is fair, but
>a very reasonable main villain
Kill yourself
>immortality BAD
I don't know they still keep this façade just start making porn and thus finnish conquering nippon.
It wasn't just immortality, it was ascending everyone into a bodyless mind blob existing outside of time and the physical world. Good luck trying to continue your regular life after you've suddenly entered a state of existence you might read about in a fucking Lovecraft novel
>human instrumentality BAD
Read like a bad Fate/Zero fanfiction
Good part: Chiron, Achilles, Karna, Mordred, Kairi, Shakespeare, Caules and his sister
Bad part: everything else
Got three episodes in. Mordred and a Ruler were great starts, but I needed to know how much longer I would have to put up with Astolfo's bullshit. Upon finding the answer, I had no need to watch any further.
>Incarnation of Indra lost to a fucking doll with plot armor shield
Pretty shit user.
Still make more sense than a school boy beats king of heroes
Sieg didnt solo Karna. In fact, Karna could've just waited for Sieg to lose his servant form and then kill him. But of course as an honorable warrior he decided to use his strongest noble phatasm on Sieg to show respect, which costed him his armor. Frankenstein's ability helped Sieg spam Balmung, hence he could dance with Karna for a while. Achilles's shield created an entire world to protect Sieg, yet the shield still got shattered under Karna's attack. The last clash is basically Sieg caught Karna off guard with the sword from Astolfo. Sieg himself is a homuculus, literally a magic circuit in the form of human so it makes some sense while he can take Siegfried and Fran's power. Still it came with a high cost as he turned into Farnir in the end.
Meanwhile by some fucking reasons a freaking servant like Gilgamesh couldnt overpower Shiro in a sword fight. That's fucking absurd since even if Gil isnt good at swordmanship, his strength alone should've destroyed both Shiro's sword and his bone when they clashed. Plot armor at its finest
This. Especially Chiron and Achilles.
>I'm too insecure with my imperfections
so be it.
It had some good parts, but a lot of shitty parts.
>Still make more sense than a school boy beats king of heroes
Shirou is unironically Gil's best defeat. it makes sense that a servant wouldn't go tryhard against a human.
If you're not watching for Achilles, you're not watching Apocrypha.
everyone already hates the story but the anime adaptation had awful audio
>faggotry
fuck off to
Plot is really bad.
FASTER
FGO Jeanne is the same though. Fate Jeanne is just a slut.
>being in a state of eternal happiness is bad
Ok fag
